School flies by, my fear growing each minute. What if he doesn't show up? I swallow the thought and try to focus on my work.
*time lapse: 3 hours*
The school day ends and I jump out of my seat. I grab my papers and run out of the school. I reach the abandoned building, and sit down on the floor. 10 minutes pass and he doesn't show up. 15, 20 minutes and he never comes. When 30 minutes have passed I get up, and start to leave when I hear a quite voice. "Tris." I turn around to see Tobias leaning against the wall. "Why am I here?" he says.
I swallow gathering all my courage. "WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!" I shout. He jumps back at the volume and strength of my voice, giving me a tiny sliver of pleasure. "WHAT DID I DO!?" I start to sob a little bit. "What did I do?" I whisper. "Why did you shut me out." I say sinking to the floor. I never realized how much his absence affected me. He starts toward me to comfort me. "Stop." I say sternly. "Answer my question."
He swallows, his Adam's apple bobbing. "You didn't do anything wrong." He says slightly shocked. I look up. " I was the one who was wrong tris!" he exclaims. "you have never been anything less than perfect to me!" I'm slightly taken aback by his complement. "It's my fault for loving you an-" "loving me?!" I say bewildered. "you never loved me, I loved you!" I suddenly feel dizzy. He loves me! "I've had a crush on you since we were 10." He confesses. I don't remember deciding to, but I sprint across the room and crash into his arms. He stumbles at first. I look up at him "I love you." I whisper. Next thing I know my legs are wrapped around his waist, and his lips are on mine. the first time we kissed it was gentle and beautiful. This kiss is all hunger, and ferocity and desire. His tongue slips inside my mouth, making me shiver. He carries me to what used to be the bedroom and sets me down on the mattress. he climbs on top of me and I pull him down. He kisses my neck and I sigh. His mouth finds mine again, but I pull back. "We shouldn't be doing this" I say. I sit up, and get out from under him. Now we sit next to each other our shoulders touching. "you're right." He sighs. I turn and look at him. He is so beautiful. His eyes are so blue. I love him. And in that moment, thats all I care about.
