It was 5 days until my birthday.
I'm adopted so I don't ever get anything for my birthday.
I never met my biological family.
I guess they didn't want me.
I work up to get ready for school and I wore this outfit.
I went down stairs with fear in my mind. I ran out the front door. And I was walking to school. When my friend came up to me.
"Xiao Li guess what?!" She says.
"What?" I say.
"I got us tickets to a nct concert for your birthday.!" She says.
"Oh thank you!" I say and hug her.
She hugs me back.
I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my back.
"Owww!" I yell.
"What's wrong?" She says.
"Méiyǒu!" I say.
—After school—
I get home and my mother smacks me on the arm I think she even bruised it.
–Renjun' POV–
I felt a sharp pain in my arm for some reason and for some reading there's now a bruise there.
—Xiao Li' POV—
I go up to my room and eventually fall asleep crying.
