Brittish expressions to use for your Brit-characters:

•Ace= means that something is brilliant, excellent or awesome.

Example: "Are you coming with us tonight?"

"Yeah."

"Ace!"

•Blimey= expressing surprise, often more in an impressive way. Not in shock.

Example; "Blimey, that's a nice goal!"

•Bloke= a man, simply that.

Example: "Harry's a good looking bloke, don't you think?"

•Bloody= used as an expression if anger or emphasising.

Example: (insert Ronald Weasley voice) "Bloody hell!"

•Bollocks= used as a curse word or as emphasising such as Bloody, but also refers to a man's balls.

Example: "I got so hammered down at the pub yesterday, bollocks..." or "I kicked him in the bollocks, hard."

•Brilliant= doesn't need an explanation but use it.

•Cheers= beyond the use of the world while celebrating its also used as "thank you."

Example: "Cheers for driving me home last night, mate."

•Chuffed= it is an expression of pride at your own actions or achievements.

Example: "I'm feeling pretty chuffed over all these likes on my latest Instagram post."

•Cock up= a fuck up, a mistake.

Example: "You really cocked up cheating on him."

•Dodgy= refers to something wrong, illegal, or just plain 'off', in one way or another.

Example: "I just get this dodgy feeling about this place."

•Gutted= To be 'gutted' about a situation means to be devastated and saddened.

Example: "I feel absolutely gutted I failed that test."

•Knackered= describes tiredness or exhaustion.

Example: "I'm totally knackered tonight."

•Mate= buddy, pal, dude.

Example: "You alright there, mate?"

•Nice one= sed almost always sarcastically in common British lexicon, although it can be used sincerely depending on the context.

Example: "You threw up on the carpet last night? Nice one, Lily."

•Posh= Generally, 'posh' denotes the English upper classes. However, it can be used to describe anything flashy or needlessly classy or expensive.

Example: "Going to a posh restaurant tonight, what should I wear?"

•Proper= used instead of very or really.

Example: "I'm proper confused right now."

•Rubbish= used to mean both general waste and trash, and to also express disbelief in something to the point of ridicule.

Example: "Oh, that's complete and utter RUBBISH!"

•Taking the piss= To 'take the piss' means to mock something, parody something, or generally be sarcastic and derisive towards something.

Example: "He's just taking a piss, don't bother to get angry."

•Wanker= 'Wanker' fits the closest fit by 'jerk' or 'asshole', but to a slightly higher value.

Example: "Piers Morgan is such a wanker!"

•Tad= a little bit

Example: "I'm just a tad irritated."

•Nutter= crazy person

Example: "She's a nutter, that one."

•Fit bloke= attractive man

Example: "He's a fit bloke, no?"

That's all for now. Maybe I'll add some more in a new chapter!
