Y/n and Jimin have been the closest of friends since childhood and here is how they met-
~Y/n's POV~
~16 years ago~
"Mommy! Who are those people?"
Y/n ran to her mother holding her hand.
"Oh the neighbors? Those people are our new neighbors sweetie. You wanna go meet them? I was already planning to."
New people? Is there also someone like me?
"Is there someone i can play with?"
"Actually yes! So you wanna go and meet them now?"
"Yes yes yes!!!!" I said jumping happy.
"Okay sweetie lets go!" Mommy said giggling.
I hold mommy's hand and she closed the door locking it. We didn't have to walk to long.
Not at all because they live next door.
"Do you wanna knock? Or should i do it?" Your mother asks.
"No i wanna do it!" I knock the door as hard as i can but it wasn't hard enough.
And it hurts...
"Can i do it? I think your hands are to tiny." Y/ns mother giggles.
"Okay..." You dissapointly respond.
After mommy gently knocked they opened the door.
"Oh hello! You must be our neighbor thank you for visiting our new apartment I'm Park Na Yeon. (This name is not Jimin's mother real name)
"I'm Min Eun Ae! Who is this little guy behind you!" Eun Ae enthusiastically yells.
It's a boy!! I wanted to play with a girl!! So unfair! I hate boys!
"This is my son Jimin what a beautiful daughter you have!"
My mommy smiled at her. There was a awkward silence.
"Why don't you come in? The kids can go and play in Jimin's room."
Mommy agreed and i followed this Jimin boy to his room.
I really hate boys...
When we were in his room i sat on the floor and we stared at each other for a long time but Jimin broke the silence.
"How old are you and what's your name?" Jimin kindly asks.
I can tell my name... But he has to first! Even though i already know.
"Tell me yours first!" I said looking away.
I heard him laughing and i looked at him again. I wasn't being funny!
"I am Park Jimin and i am uhm..."
I looked at him while he was counting his fingers.
"Oh! And i am 5 years old!"
He said while immediately standing up and bowed.
I stood up very fast shocked by his answer.
"I am 5 years old to!!"
And that is how we started playing.
That was easy. This boy isn't mean!
~After 3 hours~
Min Eun Ae's POV
"Look at the time!! It was nice meeting you!"
I said smiling.
"Oh wait Eun Ae? Next time my husband and your husband can meet then we can all meet!"
I looked at her in a sad expression
She knew what i meant and apologized right away.
"Oh! Sorry i didn't mea-" But i cut her off.
"No don't be! You didn't know! He passed away 2 years ago and he would've like it... soo the kids?" I awkwardly say.
"Oh yeah! I-ill show you were they are. This is Jimin's room."
She opened the door and i saw them playing.
So cute!!!
"My little girl! Did you have fun playing with Jimin!" I ask while hugging my little daughter and smiling at Jimin.
"Yeah mommy! he said that only i can call him Chimchim! We even played husband and wife!" Her smile was big.
I giggled.
"Wish Jimin a goodnight okay?" I said and she nodded.
"Goodnight Chimchim!" She yells and holds my hand.
"Goodnight Y/n! Dont forget our promise!" Jimin yells and Y/n nods happily.
Promise?
I said my bye to Jimin and his mother i didn't meet the husband because he works a lot from what ive heard.
We reached my apartment but i couldn't help but ask what that promise is."Y/n what was that promise?"
She looks up and smiles.
"Jimin and i promised to get married in the future!" She yells happily.
M-married?
"Married? Do you like him?" I ask teasingly.
"Yes! He is very sweet! No other boy is like him." She says happily.
But it really hit me. I do remember her telling me that she hates boys at school.
"Well that's goo-
"He is like a girl!" She adds and i freeze.
Like a girl? That's explains why she likes him... Silly girl. She will understand in the future.
I unlocked my door and i saw the time... its late! I have to bring Y/n to bed!
I made Y/n ready for bed and myself to.
I put her in bed and kissed her forehead. I was about to leave but Y/n grabbed my wrist.
"Mommy?" She says sleepily.
"Yes sweetie?" I respond and turn to her. Sitting on the edge of her bed.
"Can i see Jimin again tommorow? I miss my fiance!" She yells tiredly.
"Fiance? Well okay we can see your "fiance" tommorow okay?" I respond quietly stroking her head.
"Okay..." She responds and slowly dozes off into sleep.
I sneak back to the livingroom and sat down with a huge sigh. There i saw my husband's picture...
I should tell him! He deserves to know that our daughter is "engaged".
I grabbed my husband's photo.
"Hi honey i have great news! Our lovely daughter is engaged! Even though she gates boys. She really likes him..." I gently say giggling staring at his picture.
And i think they will have a strong relationship.
~9 years later~
~Y/n's POV~
We finished school just now. There is just one more task.
Normally I'm happy when i talk to Jimin but today i'm really not.
Because the task is.
I have to tell him that i'm moving away...
I really can't do it. I can't see his sad expression, I always saw his happy side.
So i decided to make a back up plan.
I'm giving him a letter and tell him to open it tomorrow.
The letter was a emergency plan just in case i couldn't tell him.
And now i'm using the emergency plan...
Maybe its rude. But i don't mean for it to be rude. I just can't say it...
I really love him and i dont want to see him sad. It will make me even more depressed.
I saw we reached "home"
"U-uhm Jimin here is a letter for you... Can you open it tomorrow afternoon please?"
"Sure but why?" He said confused
"You'll see" I say with a fake smile.
I hugged him tight trying to not let my tears run. He was shock at first but he gently hugged me back.
"Goodbye Jimin."
"Bye Y/n see you tommorow my love! " Jimin jokingly said and waved walking in his apartment.
I didnt answer and got inside as fast as I could leaning against the door letting my tears burst out.
I saw my mother packing and she noticed me. She stopped packing to comfort me.
"Sorry honey... But we have to move for a important reason." she wiped my tears away with her thumb and we hugged for a while.
~Next day~
Jimin's POV
i sat on couch waiting for it to be the afternoon just 1 minute.
After reading the letter i can finally see her! I really wonder what it is. But there was something different about her.
I was counting down the time...
3...2...1!
"YES I CAN OPEN THE LETTER!" I yelled like a maniac.
I open the letter with enthusiasm and threw the outside away.
I started reading the letter with a big smile but my smile started fading away...
What is this?
Is this some kind of joke? Is this supposed to be funny? Because it's not.
Pranks like this go way to far.
I ran out of my apartment with anger not believing her stupid letter.
I peeked through Y/n's window but i saw nothing but a empty apartment. I blinked a few times not believing what i saw.
It really was empty... I used my key to her apartment and it still opened.
I wanted to take a look around because i still didn't quite believe it.
I walked in and saw that everything was empty. The first thing i did was run to her room and i saw a wooden box.
I opened it and saw a bracelet.
And again another letter.
Sorry Jimin i miss you already i know we will meet again in the future don't worry. Just take good care of yourself!
A command from your fiance! ;)

So it is real... She really left and said goodbye through a letter.
I am devastated and hurt.
I am broken...
How could she do this to me? Not even giving me a proper goodbye. Not even telling me that she will visit.
Not even telling me where she moved...
"How could you!" I yelled tears welling up in my eyes.
I heard my voice echo in her empty room.
I leaned against the wall and dropped down with the wooden box on my lap.
I hugged my knees and cried there for hours. Hopelessly.
Not ready to leave and took my time... Because when i go away i won't smell her scent anymore.
They will be totally gone...
But after a while i forced myself to stop crying and to get out of her room.
Because it won't bring her back.
I looked around a little and saw the drawings we made on the wall when we were little.
"You still had those..." I said with pain in my voice and couldn't help but giggle.
"But still the worst thing is that you didn't even tell me were you were going. How can you promise to marry me without telling me where you are." I mumbled. Because throughout time i really did start to love her.
I saw a ring with a diamond and grabbed it.
"She probably forgot it... Its like i've seen it before. She probably showed it to me." I put it in my pocket to keep it safe.
I'll hopefully give it to you one day.
Before i stepped out of the empty apartment i took a deep breath and said:
Goodbye memories
And i closed the door...
I thought our story ended but it actually just started.
