A/N: Some Class 1-A kids having lunch with Class 1-C.
It was a middle of the afternoon as Mikoto and his new friends, Sylvia and Haru, got together for lunch.
Mikoto: (I'm glad Dad packed me some lunch before Mom could...I hate to admit though but Dad is better chef than she is...)
Last time his mother tried to cook something, she ended up freezing the entire kitchen...by accident...much to his father's dismay.
They all had to go out to get pizza that day...
Sylvia: Where should we sit?
Mikoto: Maybe where ever Izuku is at...We both promised each other to eat lunch together.
Haru: But...what if Class 1-A isn't back from their mock test?
Mikoto:....I don't know...
But luckily, he scanned through the crowd of students then caught a flash of messy green hair and there he was. He beamed in excitement as finally found him.
Mikoto: Izuku!
The green hair boy looked up from his food and smiled.
Deku: Miichan!
Sylvia: Miichan?
Mikoto blushes at the question of the name.
Mikoto: Just a nickname I picked up from him sometime ago.
Haru: I-It's kind of cute.
Sylvia: Kind of?! It's adorable!
Mikoto: Thanks.
The three students saw Izuku waving at them to come sit them with him. But he wasn't alone.
Mikoto soon saw Uraraka-chan again with him. But not just her.
He saw another girl with some frog quirk...and Iida...?
Mikoto glared at the taller teen before sitting next to Izuku on his right as Sylvia and Haru sat close by. He then noticed some kids from another class were giving Class 1-A the evil eye...
Student A: Class 1-A thinks their better than us. Just because they have some flashy quirks doesn't mean they can look down on us...
Student B: Yeah. We'll show them that we're more capable of being heroes than they are!
Oh boy....
What the heck? He's only been here for one day and already some competition has fueled between the Heroics Department.
Uraraka: Ah! It's you! Remember me?
He looked at Uraraka before nodding with a smile.
Mikoto: Yep. Nice to see you again Uraraka-chan. How could I forget you?! Your quirk is zero-gravity after you made Izuku float in the air!
The bubbly girl smiled as Mikoto and his friends introduced themselves to some of the Class 1-A students.
Mikoto: I'm Yukimura Mikoto. Snow Quirk.
Sylvia: Sylvia Akuma...Fire and Elastic Quirk.
Haru: H-Haru Mitsuo...My quirk works with copy/transformation.
Tsuyu: Nice to meet you all. I'm Asui Tsuyu. "Frog Form" Quirk. Just call me Tsu-chan, Kero.
Iida: I'm Iida Tenya! My quirk is engine! It helps me move at extraordinary speed! Nice to meet you as well, Yukimura-san, Akuma-san, Mitsuo-san!
Sylvia and Mitsuo nodded while Mikoto raised an eyebrow. He never expected Iida to be so...nice? What's with the honorifics and the chopping hands?
Mikoto: Umm...Yeah...?
Iida:...You were right Yukimura-san...
Mikoto: Eh?
Iida: Back at the exam...I jumped to conclusions and made a fool out of Midoriya-kun in front of everyone. I should've noticed his discomfort and shouldn't have put him in the spotlight. But I did and deeply misjudged him. For that, I am terribly sorry!
Mikoto: O-Oh! T-That's alright.
He didn't expect him to apologise. He had Iida all wrong. He thought he was gonna be some stuck-up jerk like Bakugo.
Deku: I-Iida-san. You d-don't have to keep on apologizing! I shouldn't have mumbled in the first place anyway! I-I was just so excited meeting one of the Pro-Heroes.
Mikoto: Yep. Because you always were that little fanboy I known since middle school.
Uraraka: Oh! I should've known Deku-kun was such a fanboy!
Mikoto stopped eating and looked at Uraraka a bit rattled. Did she just called Izuku...Deku?
Catching onto Mikoto's stare. Deku sputtered and tried to tell him what's going on.
Deku: I-It's because she said Deku sounds like 'Dekiru' which means 'I can do it'. So I let her call me that.
Mikoto: Oh...
Because he remembers that Bakugo always called Izuku: Deku for being useless...But he was more than that.
Mikoto saw a empty seat next to Haru. Someone else could sit next to them...Maybe someone from their class.
That's when he noticed a few spaces away. A familiar boy with red eyes and black hair sitting alone.
Perfect~~~!
Mikoto: Hey guys! I'll be back!
His friends gave him looks of confusion as he walked up to the vampire boy. He felt bad for the guy when he saw some kids from other classes, outside of Heroics, giving him looks of fear.
Mikoto: Hey Kenji! Wanna eat lunch together?
The vampire boy looked up shock.
Kenji: You want me to eat lunch with you?
Mikoto: Well yeah...After all...No one deserves to be alone.
The vampire boy took that thought into consideration and nodded.
They both went back to the others. Kenji sat next to Haru, who looked very nervous.
Sylvia: Isn't that Kyuketsu-kun?
Mikoto: Yep. From our class. I thought he needed some friends.
Uraraka: So nice~! Hello Kyuketsu-kun!
Kenji: Uh...Hi...
Iida: Pleasure to be your acquaintance!
Tsuyu: Let's get along now.
Deku: L-Let's be friends! I-If that's okay with you!
Kenji: Oh...alright...
Kenji looked a little shy that some people outside of his class wants to talk to him. It was just something he wasn't used too...
Tsuyu: How come you're not eating with the other kids in you class?
A good question. He quickly replied.
Kenji: Because others pretty much avoid me.
Uraraka: Oh! I'm sorry to hear that!
Kenji:....They think I might bite them... because you know...vampire morals...
Uraraka: Do you really drink blood?
Kenji:......I do. It helps me survive. Plus, most of blood I drink is animal blood anyway...So they shouldn't worry about me going crazy.
Mikoto: But...what about human blood...?
Kenji:....Only if it's necessary...or if it's an emergency.
Mikoto: O-Oh....
Haru:......
Kenji:......
The vampire boy looked very uncomfortable now. Before he could make an excuse to leave, Tsuyu spoke up.
Tsuyu: I don't blame you. I get weird looks from people because I get compared to being a frog. For which I am one. Just more human-like...
Kenji: Hmm....
To shift to another conversation that wasn't awkward, Mikoto spoke up as well.
Mikoto: Speaking of Pro-Heroes, guess whose our teacher?
Uraraka: Who?
Sylvia: Present Mic.
Iida, Tsuyu, and Uraraka gap in shock while Deku almost squealed again.
Deku: *Rambles* You mean he's your teacher! Cool! What's he like? Did he use his quirk yet?! Because you know his quirk is voice, right?! Present Mic's quirk allows him to increase the volume of his voice, giving him the ability to create loud high pitched sounds. The sound from Present Mic's Quirk is strong enough to cause people's ears to bleed-!
Mikoto: Now's not the time to for you to go fanboy on us Izuku!
Deku: S-Sorry Miichan!
Uraraka: (Awww~! What a cute nickname!)
Sylvia: Wow...He almost describe everything about Present Mic.
Kenji: Is he...always like this...?
Mikoto: Oh yeah...his rambling is a thing you guys are gonna have to get used too.
Tsuyu: Although he have a muttering problem, I can tell Midoriya is intelligent due to him knowing a lot about Present Mic. It's both admirable and annoying at the exact same time.
Mikoto:.....Ouch...
Haru: R-Really...
Tsuyu: Sorry. I speak with what's on my mind. I can be a little blunt sometimes.
Deku: I-It's okay Asui-san....I won't let it bother me...
She fixed him a weird stare while putting her finger on her mouth.
Tsuyu: Call me Tsu-chan.
Deku: S-Sorry!
Uraraka: Well anyway. Our teacher is Erasherhead.
Sylvia, Kenji, and Haru looked confused while Mikoto already knew who Erasherhead was.
Mikoto: You mean the Underground Pro-Hero Erasherhead! No way!
Deku: Yes way! I-I was shock at first but it's hard to believe that he's teaching us at U.A!
Mikoto: B-But how are you in his class...?! I heard from the rumors that he expelled an entire class once!
Haru: Guess the rumors are true... because it turns out...He only expells those who don't have potential or those who don't have the same ideals of being a hero.
Kenji: Yikes...
If kicking people out for having non-hero like behavior was an option, though, Mikoto wonder how long Bakugou will last here...
Sylvia: Does that mean the entire class is safe from expulsion.
Tsuyu: Most likely.
Iida: Although Midoriya-kun came last and Aizawa-sensei was going to expell anyone that came last because the results were ranked!
Mikoto cringed at that. If Izuku was in last place. How was he still here at Yuuei?
To answer his question, Izuku spoke.
Deku: I-It was a logical ruse. Everyone was shock besides Yaoyorozu-san...
Mikoto: I heard about her... Wasn't she one of those recommendation students?
Sylvia:.....
Deku nodded.
Deku: She was able to read the situation quickly more than anyone else there.
Mikoto: Well... that's good to know he didn't expell you...I was almost worried there for a second.
Uraraka: Well it's not just Erasherhead! All-Might became our teacher too! He's teaching Heroics while Erasherhead is our homeroom teacher.
Mikoto almost choked on some sukiyaki before calming down.
Mikoto: Even All-Might?!!
Sylvia: Wow....
Haru: I'm so jealous...
Mikoto: I don't blame you!
Some of them nodded at that before going back to eating their lunch.
Iida: Umm...Yukimura-san?
Mikoto: Yes...
Iida: If you don't mind me asking...Are you related to the Yuki-Onna?
Mikoto almost wanted to facepalm hearing that. He know that was coming sooner or later but it slipped his mind. But decided to put on a brave face.
Mikoto: Yes...She's my Mom...
Uraraka: N-No way!
Haru: R-Really?!
Mikoto: Yep.
Tsuyu: Yuki-Onna is one of the greatest heroes that ever existed. Due to her quirk being called 'Frost'. She froze all of her enemies long enough for the police to get there to the crime scene.
Uraraka: I never thought she would be your Mom! That must be pretty cool for your mother to be the Yuki-Onna!
Mikoto: Yeah...(Sometimes it is....sometimes it isn't...)
And here it comes...He was already waiting for someone to say he'll be like his mom someday.
Uraraka: However...I can't wait to see what kind of hero you'll become!
Mikoto: ...Eh?
Iida: Affirmative. We're all aiming to be heroes. So we all must take the rules here seriously in order to become heroes ourselves! Yukimura-san, you surely know that. You already known the qualities of that it takes. So I admired you! You'll be a great hero someday.
Tsuyu: Maybe a snow hero. Since your quirk is snow like you said.
Sylvia: True. I've never met a snow hero before. That'll make things more interesting.
Haru: Y-Yeah!
Kenji: Agree.
Deku: -Smiles-
Mikoto felt happy. Finally...someone other than Izuku saw him as himself rather than being his mother.
Mikoto: Thanks guys.
Uraraka: No problem!
Iida: I could ask my brother sometime. I think I've seen him work with the Yuki-Onna a few times.
This surprised Mikoto and looks up at the megane (glasses) boy.
Mikoto: Your brother works with my Mom? Who's your brother anyway?
Iida freezes, hesitating...
Iida: Oh. I... I forgot that I hadn't told you all that yet. Have you guys ever heard of the Pro Hero, Ingenium?
Of course, Izuku has...
Deku: I have! (Told ya. Lol.) He runs the hero agency: Idaten in Hosu City! He's a really popular hero too-!
Izuku seems to have got back to rambling furthermore but stops himself and quickly looks up at Iida.
Iida: He's my older brother!
And he seemed really proud to tell it, unlike Mikoto who was embarrassed to talk about his mom.
Sylvia: That's pretty cool, Iida-kun!
Haru: W-Why didn't you tell us before...?
Iida: Well, I just couldn't find the right time. And... well, I didn't want you to judge me on the fact that my brother is a Pro Hero. I wanted you to get to know me for me first....I pretty sure that's what Yukimura-san felt like as well when I mentioned his mother.
Mikoto: (Ah...So he caught on...)
Uraraka: Aww, Iida-kun! Well, I think you're really cool, whether or not your brother is a hero! Same with you, Mikoto-kun!
Iida: Why thank you, Uraraka-san!
Uraraka: Oh BTW Deku-kun! I forgot to ask you.
Deku: Y-Yeah?
Uraraka: How's your finger?
.....Eh?
That got four students of Class 1-C's attention and not in a good way if you were Deku's look alike AKA Mikoto.
Mikoto: What about his finger?
Deku was freaking out now trying to get Uraraka to be quiet...but it was already too late.
Tsuyu: He didn't tell you...? Midoriya-kun injured his finger during the test....
Sylvia/Haru: EHH?!!
Kenji: Wha...? How?
Mikoto fixed Izuku a steely glance as the green hair boy looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole and die. He thought he cover that incident up without anyone else finding out...
Deku: M-Miichan?
Mikoto: Izuku. Explain Yourself...
Deku gulped. He was definitely not getting out of this one...
