Jason saw them outside.
And he swung the machete at James.
James ducked.
He was armed with an axe.
And he threw it at Jason's head.
It hit the door of one of the cabins.
Then he kicked the killer in the balls.
Jason dropped the weapon.
With one final attack, she slashed the weapon across his head with brutal force. Jason grunted with pain, then he fell to the ground.

"Let's get outta here once the Sheriff arrives" James said.
And he and Lyndall waited to be rescued.
