The chiming of church bells
Always captivated me,
But then I lost my voice
Right when I was about to pray the Lord
To give me a new life.
I use to walk away from things that
Were irrelevant to me
But that day I saw the angel cry
The tears of blood and pity,
And It opened my eyes
But it tied my Tongue.
The Lord himself chose me
To whisper the secrets of universe,
The language of love,
And stardust of hope
right inside me,
Maybe that's why I
Pray for those who
Never stood by me.
He....
He filled me with light
He filled me with hope,
My creator taught me
To be kind to those who
Were never kind to me.
My lips were sewed together
With the thread of fears,
My eyes were wet with the
Sorrowful tears,
My head was filled with
Destructive thoughts
But a ray of hope
Changed it all.
I see the world with a different
Point of view now
I see the beauty of flaws,
I know that the bad things
Are the hateful words
That come out of our mouths,
The thorns that grow
In our mind
And the fears that no one
seems to find.
The taste of hope and love
gets you in a peaceful state,
It makes you see the positive aspect
Of things that were written in your fate,
Pray the Lord....not to give you a new life
But to give you hope
To live this life.
