Before today drugs wasn't an option when trying to explain the situation in the past, but now that's the only explanation that comes to mind. The car was vastly expensive and for weeks after, my parents seemed upset, stressed even. Tension arose so I always kept my distance. I forced myself to push those stressful thoughts away in order to focus on the present.

My mother was always a petite woman which made it so easy to pick her up. I laid her down on the floor and pulled the knife out her stomach. For the first time in my entire life, I flinched at the sight of blood, her blood. Only yesterday I thought I was destined to become an undertaker, but my heart was no longer where it was. It sickens me every time I see her, and I know the memory would just consume me if I were to ever disturb another corpse. My brain will remind me that they somebody's mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, aunt or uncle. If only this wasn't a problem for me. If only I could forget.
