Tiffany goes to rooftop after she accidentally saw Jesse and Taeyeon hugging each other in Jesse office. She suddenly felt weird after seeing them together. She never felt something like this before. She know Jesse love her more than just friend but she can't accept Jesse as her boyfriend. It has been 3 months since she date her boyfriend and Jesse still can't accept their relationship. She don't understand why Jesse against their relationship. Jesse also used to tell her that her boyfriend is not a good person but she doesn't care because she never sees something wrong with her boyfriend.
When Tiffany in her deep thinking, her phone ringing and it was call from Sooyoung
"Hello" – Tifany
"Hi Fany, how are you?" – Sooyoung
"I'm fine Sooyoungie, how about you?" – Tiffany
"As usual, hehe" – Sooyoung
"You call me at time like this so I guess you have something urgent to say" – Tiffany
"Yeah, I really have something to tell you" – Sooyoung
"Ok, what is it?" – Tiffany
"This weekend I held a party at my house to celebrate my new car so I want you to come. I tell you personally because if I ask Jesse to pass the message, you won't come. You know you haven't hangout with us these day" – Sooyoung
"Ok, I'll come" – Tiffany
"Alright, see you this weekend" - Sooyoung
"Ok, bye" – Tiffany
After talking to Sooyoung, Tiffany back to her office but her feeling still feel like hurt and the scene still played in her mind
As she enter the office, she saw Taeyeon and Jesse talked happily then they noticed her presence
"Hey Fany, where are you from?" Taeyeon asked as she and Jesse approached Tiffany
"I just return from meeting with Mr. Lee" Tiffany said but the truth it's about an hour since her end with the meeting
"I see, it such a long meeting" Taeyeon nodded her head
"Steph, did Sooyoung invite you to the party this weekend?" Jesse asked
"Yes, she called me just now and I'll come"
"Great, it's been a while since we go out together" Taeyeon chirped
Jesse checked his watch "Since this is lunch time, let's eat together" he said
"Sure" Taeyeon agree
Tiffany scratched her nape "Sorry guys, I can't join both of you" she giggle awkwardly
Jesse and Taeyeon looked at each other "Ok then. We go now" Jesse said disappointedly
"Ok" Tiffany goes to her office while Taeyeon and Jesse go to the elevator
When they have their lunch, Taeyeon noticed that Jesse just silent and not really eating his food "Are you ok?"
"Yes?"
Taeyeon sighs "I asked, are you ok?"
"I'm ok, why?"
"You looked not interested with your food. Is it because of her?"
Jesse wipe his lips with napkin "I don't know Taeng, whenever I feel like I'm fine with her treatment I guess I'm wrong. I never got rejection and abandoned since I be her friend and it feel so rare when it happen. I don't know Taeng. Its hurt" Jesse face contorted
'It's hurt me too seeing you like this Jesse' Taeyeon said in her mind
"Why don't just forget her and move on? I mean start new life like you used to do before you meet her" Taeyeon suggest
"It's hard Tae. I can't forget her"
"Aigoooo" Taeyeon rubbed her temple "I don't know what to do anymore. Let's eat"
"Sorry" Jesse pout
"It's ok. Quit pouting, I don't like that face of yours" Taeyeon joking then they laughed

Everyone come to Sooyoung party and of course Tiffany also comes along. Jesse glued with Taeyeon and Tiffany don't like seeing their closeness
"Both of you, why don't just date? You too looked like a couple" Hyoyeon said when she noticed that Taeyeon and Jesse treat each other like couple did
"Don't talk nonsense, we're just friend" Jesse said
"But you two looked romantic. You even wipe Taeyeon lips when sauce smudges there, right guys?"
"Yes!" their friends cheer except Tiffany
"I'm not his ideal type so don't ask him to date me" Taeyeon said
"Who care about ideal type if you two can make a good couple" said Sunny
"Let God do his work. If we're made for each other, we'll together" Taeyeon said
Then they change topics and enjoy the food that Sooyoung made for them
After back from Soyoung house, Jesse and Taeyeon take a walk at the park since it's still early to go home
"Tae, are you dating someone?" Jesse sudden question make Taeyeon startled
It take few seconds for Taeyeon to answer "Currently single and available"
"Hm, your life is so good. No need to think about love and chasing someone"
"I not a type who like chasing or forcing someone to love me, I just leave it to God for this part"
"If I can have a life like yours" Jesse close his eyes and exhale deeply
"It's up to you to design your own life. It's all about how you want your life to go. For me, I want this kind of life like it is what it is. If it means to be, it'll happen no matter what it takes. I told you to move on and forget Tiffany but you don't want to listen to me. Your only problem now is your one-sided love to Tiffany. It makes you stress, you know?"
"I'm sorry Tae" Jesse said sadly and both of them stand facing the lake
"Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to yourself. You make a burden to your mind"
"I hope I can forget this feeling"
"I hope so" Taeyeon pat Jesse shoulder
"Can you help me with this thing?"
Taeyeon frown as she doesn't understand "How?"
Jesse compose himself before say anything "I think our friend suggestion is not bad"
"Mean?" Taeyeon totally don't understand what Jesse said
"Earlier Hyoyeon said that we're good together and it's good if we're dating" Jesse holds Taeyeon hand "I thought about it before and I want to ask permission to court you"
Taeyeon shocked by what Jesse said just now "Are you sure about this? This is not a joke Jesse. You so in love with Tiffany but you ask me to help you to forget her with this way. It will end up hurting me"
Jesse cupped Taeyeon face "No Tae, no. My main point is I want to court you because of how you care about me. You always there whenever I need you, you cry with me, laugh with me, lend your ear whenever I need someone to talk with even it's late at night. You stay when everyone leave. After I recall back every time I hurt by Tiffany, you're the person I need the most. Maybe you're not my ideal type but your personality makes me want you to be someone who stays by my side in ups and downs, through thick and thin of my life. Please, let me pay back your kindness with this way. It sound weird and really rare but from now on please let me take care of you and give you everything you deserve"
Taeyeon taking deep breath after listen to Jesse explanation. She caressed Jesse hand that remains on her cheek "Jesse, I know you're good person. Ever since I worked together with you, I'm really comfortable when we're together. You're caring, kind, warmth and have good sense of humor. Sometime I don't know why Tiffany rejects someone like you. I never thought that you'll ask permission to court me or more but I'm happy with your request. It's hurt me seeing you sad and breakdown because of her till the point I want to hate her because of what she did to you. First I think this feeling is because of sympathy but then what I actually feel is because I like you. I start to have feeling for you, more than a friend but I know I can't win your heart like Tiffany did"
"Is that why you said my happiness is right in front of me?" Jesse smile
Taeyeon nodded "Yes because I want you to see me as a woman like you see Tiffany but I'm not confident if I can have you"
"But why you help me with Tiffany?" Jesse curious
"Because if I can't have you for my own at least I can make you happy with her"
Jesse sighs and he really thankful that he meet someone who have pure heart like Taeyeon "From now on, you can have me for your own. No need to help me to get her but help me to forget her" he caressed Taeyeon cheek
"Are you sure you want to forget her?"
"Yes, now I found someone who made for me and I'll never look back. I can court you, right?" Jesse smile sweetly
"Yes, you can" Taeyeon said
"Thanks" Jesse pulled Taeyeon to his embrace
Taeyeon hugged Jesse back and rest her chin on Jesse shoulder "Can you promise me something?"
"What is it?"
"Don't ever cry because of her anymore"
"I promise I won't cry unless you make me. Even this thing so sudden but I hope I will showered you with the love that you deserve" Jesse stroke Taeyeon hair softly
"Thanks Jesse"
"You're welcome"
They broke their hug and suddenly feel awkward "What?" Jesse asked when he noticed Taeyeon stared at him
"This is real, right?" Taeyeon showed her puppy eyes
"Yup, this is real"
"Thanks God" Taeyeon said "Let's go back. It's quite late now"
"Ok, I'll send you back"
"I drive my own car, remember?"
"Yea, I know but I'll follow you until you reach home"
"Ok then, let's go" they walk to the car park
As he said, Jesse follow Taeyeon until she reach her house. Jesse stop in front of Taeyeon house and get out of his car
"Thank for sending me home" Taeyeon beamed
"No problem. I wish I can drive you home everyday" Jesse said coolly
"Let's take it slow. Don't rush, we're not catching something"
"Ok, I know" Jesse said understanding
"You should go now, it's late. Take a rest, I'll see you on Monday"
"Ok" Jesse nodded. He moved forward and kiss Taeyeon forehead "Goodnight"
"Goodnight Jesse" Taeyeon touched by Jesse action "Text me when you reach home"
"Alright, I go now" Jesse enter his car
Taeyeon waved and watching Jesse slowly leaving her house. After 20 minutes, she got text from Jesse telling that he arrived safely at home

Jesse starts to care more about Taeyeon and everyday he text Taeyeon early in the morning to greet her, lunch with her and sometime have dinner together before go home. For Taeyeon, even she let Jesse court her, a little piece of her heart still worry if Jesse want her because his heart broke by Tiffany and he just want to return her kindness. It's true that she has that feeling to Jesse but she doesn't want to break her own heart.
"Good morning" Jesse suddenly appears at Taeyeon office door and he flashing sweet smile to her. Coincidentally both of them wear same suit color which is navy blue
"Hey, good morning" Taeyeon said as Jesse sit in front of her
"Are you ok? You don't realize I enter your office just now. What do you think about?"
"Nothing, don't worry" Taeyeon sighs
Jesse move to Taeyeon side and he sit on the table. He holds Taeyeon hand "I know you're not ok. Tell me what's wrong" he said softly
"I just think about us" Taeyeon stroke her hair
"What about us?"
"You court me but sometimes I worry if you do this just because of your heartbroken and want to return a favor to me"
Jesse drag a chair and sit facing Taeyeon "Dear, don't get me wrong. I court you not because I want to return favor or whatever you think about. I just want you to be someone dear to me, loving you, take care of you and if possible spend rest of my life with you. I don't have other intention. Break your heart is not in my bucket list"
"I'm sorry because I think negative about you" Taeyeon eyes teary "I just don't want you to leave me when I fall in love with you. Losing you is something that fear me the most"
Jesse pulled Taeyeon to his embrace and caressed her hair softly. Taeyeon break down in Jesse hug as she can't suppress her tears anymore. She really afraid if one day Jesse leaved her alone because she already fell for him
"Tae, don't cry. You want me to promise that I not crying anymore but now you cry" Jesse pats Taeyeon back while Taeyeon still sobbing "I promise you, I'll never leave you. You can mark my words"
Taeyeon release herself from Jesse embrace "I trust you"
"Ok, stop crying" Jesse wipe Taeyeon tears with his thumbs
Then he slowly lean in and capture Taeyeon lips, Taeyeon also return the kiss. It was their first kiss after get close to each other. Both still not saying love yet but their actions speak louder than words.
"Sorry if I quite daring" Jesse said
"It's ok" Taeyeon shyly said
"See, you face looked ugly after crying" Jesse teasing Taeyeon and pinch her cheek
"So now you go find someone beautiful out there" Taeyeon pushing Jesse "Go now!"
"Yaa, I just joking" Jesse laughed and peck Taeyeon cheek "I really addicted to Kim Taeyeon now. I don't want to find other woman; you're the most beautiful to me"
"Ok, you sweet talker" Taeyeon smile when Jesse praising her then she peck Jesse cheek
"I like it when you smile" both of them laugh again and Jesse can't take his eyes from Taeyeon
"You don't have any work to do or meeting?" Taeyeon asked
"Why? You don't want to have me here?" Jesse widened his eyes playfully
"No, I see you looked really free now. You're here almost one hour you know?"
"Let me tell you something" Jesse smirk "Actually I apply leave for us so we suppose to stay at home today"
"What?! Why you do that?"
"Because I want to go out with you" Jesse giggle "We haven't have proper date yet since I court you almost a month. We just go out for lunch and sometimes dinner but never hangouts and spend time. So now let's leave this place"
"Aigooo this person, why don't just tell me early so that I don't need to come here and wake up early" Taeyeon glare at Jesse
"If I tell you about this, you'll wake up late and I can't spend whole day with you. You see now is 9 AM so at least we meet early" Jesse said proudly
"Alright" Taeyeon give in with Jesse not-so-called surprise
"Since today is Friday, we have 3 days to spend time and get to know each other more"
"Ok Mr. Jung, shall we go now? I don't want to sit here knowing that today I leave"
"Sure, pack your stuff and let's go. Leave your car here. We'll ride my car"
"Ok"
Jesse waited for Taeyeon to touch up her make-up "Done?"
"Yup, you don't get your things?"
"I just bring wallet and phone"
"Ok, let's go"
Jesse signal Taeyeon to link arm with him "Not here Mr. Jung"
"Ok" Jesse give in
They go out of Taeyeon office and bump into Tiffany "Hey guys, where are you two going?"
"We're off to somewhere and maybe for whole day" Jesse said cheerfully
"Oh I see"
"See you next week"
"Ok, take care" said Tiffany
The couple leave Tiffany and Taeyeon link her arm with Jesse when she think that they are quite far from Tiffany sight but actually Tiffany saw it clearly because she's on her way to toilet
Jesse startled when Taeyeon held his arm "I thought you don't want this" he said
"I don't want Tiffany to saw us"
"Isn't it good if she knows? She will know about us too"
"Not now"
"Alright"
"Let's go" they ride the elevator to ground floor

It's almost 3 months since Jesse courting Taeyeon and they very happy together. They getting close to each other; Jesse treats Taeyeon like his girlfriend and so does Taeyeon. After together with him for 3 months, Taeyeon know Jesse really mean his words that he will love her with all his heart and she loves him too.
Jesse was outstation for few days and Taeyeon miss him so much. They keep-in-touch but only at night because Jesse is busy during daytime
Taeyeon watching TV at living room when Jesse calling, she answer it quickly
"Hello Jesse" – Taeyeon
"Hey Taengoo, how are you?" – Jesse
"I'm fine, you?" – Taeyeon
"I'm good but I miss you" – Jesse
"I miss you too. Dinner already?" – Taeyeon
"Yup, what you do now?" – Jesse
"I'm watching TV" – Taeyeon
"Tae, I want to talk about something with you. It's serious" – Jesse
"Ok, tell me" – Taeyeon
"I love it when you are with me and fill my life with love. I never knew that I will love you this much. You are the best part of my life. When you are with me, I don't have a fear of anything and when you hug me, it make me forget everything. Thank you for doing this much for me. I love you so much. Will you spend the rest of your life with me Tae?" – Jesse
Taeyeon crying as she heard Jesse propose her. She really touch by that guy sweetness and romantic the way he is
"Tae, are you ok?" – Jesse
"When you come home? I miss you so much" – Taeyeon
"I in front of your house now" – Jesse
"Really?!" – Taeyeon
"Yes, come hug me" – Jesse
Taeyeon open the door in no time and she saw Jesse stand in front of her door. She engulf him to hug
"Welcome home" she said
"Thanks baby, now don't cry. I'm here with you" Jesse kissed Taeyeon crown
"Ok" Taeyeon break the hug and wipe her tears then she peck Jesse cheek
"So what is your answer?" Jesse asked nervously
"I do" Taeyeon smile and Jesse hug her again
"I don't want you to be my girlfriend; I want you to be my wife" Jesse whisper sweetly
"I'm all yours dear future husband" Taeyeon kissed Jesse cheek
"I love you" Jesse said
"I love you too" they kissed each other

The couple cuddle in the room while talk about random things
"Baby, when we'll announce our engagement?" Jesse asked Taeyeon opinion
"By end of this month is better. Good thing shouldn't delay"
"Alright" Jesse nodded "Shall we tell our friends about us?"
"I think we should give them surprise. Let just invite them to our engagement ceremony" Taeyeon grin
"Do you think its ok?"
"Why not? A little surprise won't hurt"
"Ok baby" Jesse kissed Taeyeon forehead
"I want to share my thought" Taeyeon suddenly said

"This is 3rd time we sleep together and I thought in that time period you will take advantage to me" Taeyeon said
Jesse frown "I don't understand"
"I meant we slept together but you never try to touch me or take me"
Jesse nodded "Oh I see. Maybe it was every man desire but not to me. I want to take you when you're officially mine. I plan lot of things for us from our engagement, our wedding, your wedding dress, our honeymoon and our future life together. I want everything goes smoothly. I respect you as a woman. As much as I love kids, I don't want to have little Jesse this early or before marriage to be exact"
"Thank you for being such a lovely man. I'm glad that you're made for me"
"I want you to be happy and comfortable with me. Let complete each other" Jesse kissed Taeyeon hand

"First of all I want to tell you is I break up with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago" Tiffany said sadly
Jesse shocked "Why?"
"You're right that he's not a good guy but I never listen to you because I so in love with him back then. I found him cheating so I break up with him" Tiffany crying
Seeing his best friend breakdown, Jesse hug her "It's ok Tiff, you deserve someone better. Forget him and move on"
"Thanks Jesse" Tiffany said
"No problem. Don't cry anymore, you're strong girl" Jesse pats Tiffany shoulder
"Ok, next thing I want to tell you is I resign from the company" Tiffany stated and Jesse shocked for second time
"Why?"
"I want to go back to States and find a job there. I want to stay with my family. You know it's hard to move on if I still here and seeing my memory with him"
"Look like my best friend will leave me" Jesse pout
"Don't worry, Taeyeon is here to keep you company. We can always keep-in-touch with each other. I will visit when I'm free and so does you"
"Alright but make sure don't forget me"
"You also don't forget to invite me when you marry with Taetae" Tiffany smirk
"You...you know about us?" Jesse stutter
"Yup, I know since the very first time I saw both of you hug each other after I leave your office. Then I saw her link arm with you when you wait for elevator. Seeing how you close with her and much more, I know you've found the right one and I trust Taeyeon to take care of you. Maybe I unlucky because I rejected you but I lucky for having you as my best friend. I don't want to hurt you if I can't love you the way you want because we can't force our feeling. I'm glad that you have Taeyeon now and be happy with her. You're a loving man that made for loving woman like her. I just sad when you not telling me that you're in relationship with her"
"I'm sorry for hiding it from you but trust me I really don't mean it. I'm sorry if I'm overprotective towards you but I can't bear to see you hurt. You know it's hurt when you not return my love but I'm over it now. I hope you also find someone who can take care of you. My pray always goes with you wherever you are"
"Thanks so much for all these years. Since I know you, you are the best ever friend I ever have. Don't changes even if you have kids, always be my best buddy?"
"I promise" Jesse smile sweetly and they make pinky promise
"I have to go now. I want to pack my stuff"
"When you'll leave the country?"
"Tomorrow morning"
"Let me and Tae drive you to airport. I feel bad if I don't see you leave"
"Sure, my flight is on 10 AM"
"Alright" both of them return to their office

"Baby, I don't see you around after lunch. Where are you going?" Taeyeon looking at her boyfriend
"I meet with Tiffany at rooftop"
Taeyeon glare at Jesse but he didn't notice "Why?"
Jesse tell Taeyeon why he meet Tiffany and Taeyeon jealousy faded as she hear her explanation
"How dare she don't tell me?" Taeyeon pout
"Because she rush to pack her stuff and settle document that she handle"
"I'll just meet her tomorrow" Taeyeon sighs "I'll lost my shopping buddy"
"I still can go shopping with you" Jesse giggles
"Last time you complain that I took so long to shop" Jesse just reply it with chuckle
As Jesse promised, he and Taeyeon drive Tiffany to airport. They heard announcement for Tiffany flight and they bid goodbye to her.

2 months later
Jesse and Taeyeon held their engagement ceremony. As planned, they invite their friends and everyone deadly shocked after received the sudden invitation. Everyone complain and nagging at them but they ignore it.
After the ceremony, the couple meets with their friends who are sit at a table
"Hey, welcome our brand new couple" Yoona chirped
"Thanks for coming guys" Jesse said
"Congratulations both of you" they said
"Thanks everyone"
"We're really shocked you know. We never thought that both of you have special relationship behind us but we're happy for both of you" Hyoyeon said on their behalf
"I want to tell you guys early but Taeyeon want to make surprise that's why we end up telling you last week" the couple laughed
"Oppa, why Fany unnie don't come?" Seohyun asked when she don't see their best friend
"She said she's busy with her new carrier so she can't come this time but she promise to come on our wedding" Jesse answered
"She have face-time with me last night and she cried because feel bad since she can't come today" Taeyeon added
"Poor her" Yuri said
"Hey, let's drink for our newly engaged couple" Sooyoung held his wine glass and everyone follow him
"May your engagement and marriage last forever and live happily ever after. Don't stop loving each other and cherish your partner until the very end" Sunny pray for them
"Thanks everyone" Taeyeon and Jesse said
"Cheers!" all of them said and they drink their wine
