The drive home feels like an eternity. The silence is driving me crazy. I wanted to talk to him but I don't know what to say or how to start. How can I put into words how I feel?
I pulled over the side of the road.
"What are you doing?" Saint said
"I'm sorry if I misunderstood, please don't be mad." I said.
"I'm not mad. Let's just forget about it, I wanna go home." he said with his eyes glued at the road
"I was only concerned about you."I said
"I don't need it!" he shouted finally looking at me
"I'm sorry, I thought you're hurting." I said in a sad tone. I was surprised when he shouted. I felt a sting at the center of my chest like something inside was being torn into pieces.
"It's not that I don't appriciate your concern but please can we just drop this topic." Saint said more calmly
This is killing me, I feel like I should tell him now.
How can this be so hard?
When did it become hard?
He's so out of my league, with him everything's new to me. I can't think of the right words to say. Maybe I should just say it straight.
"I think I'm in love with you." I said
