Rain falls upon my brow,
And the pale fog,
Swirls around me.
The trees,
Without their leaves,
Look like spider's webs.
And my eyes,
Obscured by the fog,
So I wander around blind.
Finally my path is found,
But I find it blocked
With sharp thorns.
I want to get across,
The other side,
But I can't.
