Talk about déjà vu
Your eyes flutter open, blinded by the golden rays that shot into your eyes like daggers.

You slowly sit up, shivering in the breeze. And then in an instant, everything floods back to you.
Taehyung knows.
Everyone knows.
''I guess we're even now'' you remember him saying.
I guess it really was goodbye for real then.
Wrapping the coat around your body, you lean against a tree and contemplate. Your body ached, your heart ached. The hurt is a spider web, intricate yet strong.
Through the half open slit in your eyes, Jackson appears in your field of vision. ''There you are...'' he pants, clutching some clothes against his chest. ''I got...clothes''
You open your eyes fully and nod in approval, exerting no effort to speak.
He tilts his head. ''Oh...you're already wearing a coat''
You only realized now the coat you had been adorning was not even yours. Bringing it close to your nose, you sniff. The faint smell of Taehyung's cologne lingered.
''Whatever'' brushing away all thoughts, you grab Jackson's extended hands and stand on your feet.
''Even if you lost them, you've got me'' he whispers, ruffling your hair. You sniff, your eyes resting upon the sunlight resting upon each leaf and wisp of cloud on the trees. It was as if there was pure joy in the light, contrasting to all the emotions you were feeling.

As you turn the faucet on, the water billows out in smoky waves, covering every smooth and slick surface in the bathroom.
You were back in Jisoo's apartment, getting cleaned and refreshed. Jisoo however was no where to be seen.
''I told you, I'm fine'' you reassure Jackson, as he continues to interrogate you about the claw mark on your back.
''Shall I kill him for you?'' he asks, pacing up and down.
''I clawed his back too, he simply got revenge. Can you blame him?'' you sigh, drying your hair. Your eyes move towards the door, where his coat hung.
''but still...!'' he insisted. ''what if you see him in school?''
''I'll get on with life. Come on, it's not that deep''

In School
Despite what you said, you felt completely different.
''Hey, I think I should quit school'' you whisper, walking through the gates.
''Oh please, what happened to your-'' he raised his fingers and quoted ''I'll get on with life?''
''I don't know, it's too weird-'' you hush your voice when you see Jungkook walk past, followed by Jimin and Taehyung.
Their hooded eyes, laced with disdain, take one glance at you and continue walking.
You avoid eye contact. It's only natural they hate you after you lied to them.
But Jackson didn't seem to get the hint. ''hey'' he marches towards Taehyung and pushes him.
''what?'' he responds in a husky voice lower than your grades.
''Not even a apology? After what you did to Y/N?''
''huuh'' he responded deeply, tilting his head to face you directly. His gaze was dark and glazed with contempt.
It was silent for a moment, a slight breeze whooshing past being the only audible sound.
''An apology...?'' he paused and sighed. ''No, I'm not sorry'' he cast his gaze to the ground and his eyes darkened. He glanced back up at you. ''Why?'' his voice was pained more than anything.
''...I know, you have every right to hate me, but I'm sorry...I didn't mean to hurt you...''
''What you did doesn't hurt, what hurts is the lie...'' he says. ''I can forgive almost anything, but you failed to trust me, Y/N''
His words hit you like a wrecking ball, as if it had crashed into your heart and broke it into a million pieces.
But he was right.
You clear your throat. ''Well, what's happened has happened'' you sigh, looking to the ground. ''And I know you dislike me now...but can we remain...like civil? Not fighting each other?'' you suggest, stepping towards him and reluctantly extending your hand for a handshake.
He stares at your hand and backs away, chuckling darkly. ''fuck no''
Your hand drops to your side, and with a swift turn, you walk away.

You take a seat in class, head hung low.
I guess it can't be helped if they don't want anything to do with me anymore...
Then she appears.
''Oh my god, are you guys okAY?'' Jisoo's voice exclaims, running towards them. ''You guys look so...moody''
''No offense, I think you should stay out of this'' Jungkook pops, scowling in annoyance.
''Oh-I'm just trying to help...vampires should stick together in times of hardship, right?''
''She's basically taking advantage of the situation'' Jungkook whispered to Jimin, as he nodded.
''She pulls a move on any of us, we kick her out'' he whispers back, and they both nod in approval.
''What, so you're gonna ditch us now?'' Jackson rolls his eyes, slumping onto his chair as Jisoo walks past.
She pauses. ''I'll let you guys stay in my apartment. In return for your blood of course'' she smiles, pucking at her painted lips. ''As for me...I'll be moving in with....them'' her eyes dart towards Taehyung and the boys.
''you're sick'' you scoff, looking away.
''Whaaat? You jealous?'' she mocks, letting out a sinister cackle. ''well TOO BAD!'' she leans into your face, laughing.
''poof, be gone! You talk so much shit, I'm starting to smell it in your breath'' you cover your nose, pushing her away. She rolls her eyes and walks away, joining Taehyung and the boys.
''Can I come hunt with you guys tonight?'' Jisoo casually asks, picking at her nails.
They all remain silent. ''Well as long as you-''
''Thank you! Expect me around 10!'' she squeaks blissfully.

''You invited her again?'' Yoongi groaned, grimacing. They were out in the woods hunting when Jisoo appeared and decided to join them.
''It should be fine, she didn't cause any trouble last time'' Jin states, as the seven of them and Jisoo trod along in the moonlight.
''Her joining us like this...it reminds me of when Y/N used to hunt with us'' Hoseok mutters, and they all turn silent. Mentioning your name...it was like taboo.
Taehyung gulps, a thin layer of sweat forming on his face. His fist clenched tightly, he continues walking.
Namjoon noticing his apprehension, consults him immediately. ''hey, what's wrong?''
He scowls, showcasing his fangs which shimmer in the moonlight. ''N-nothing''
Namjoon eyes him warily, his eyebrow quirked in thought. Pulling an arrow out of a deer that had just been shot, he offers Taehyung the blood. After taking a sniff, he shakes his head and pushes it away. ''hey, drink'' Namjoon orders.
Taehyung shakes his head, covering his mouth with trembling hands. ''don't want it''
''Okay, that's weird'' Jimin says, watching him refuse to drink. ''You feel sick of animal blood only after you drink human blood consistently''
''oh my god'' Jisoo whispers to herself, as she recalls Taehyung licking Y/N's wound.
His eyelids lower heavily over black eyes. ''I want...her blood'' he growls deeply, licking his lips.
