while nik and stefan are entertaining rebekah. myself and gloria are having a few drinks and a catch up..okay im having a few drinks shes just drinking water filled with vervain
"so any men in your life?" she asks wiggling her eyebrows
"nope havent had a man in my life since i was human" i shrug
her face in that moment is completely priceless i wish i had a camera to take a picture
"have you ever been with a man?" she asks
"yes" i reply boredly
"and?" she asks with a grin
"and what?" i look over at her confused
"what was it like?" "who was it with?" "were you inlove?" "where you eachothers first?" "how many times did you do it?" "was it big?" "was he gentle or hard?" she throws questions left and right at me
"it was romantic, not answering, i was, yes, multiple, very big, he always made love it wasnt just a fuck or so it seemed" i answered then gulped down my drink
"what happened between you two?" she asks me with that 'look' that sayss he knows something bad has happened
"he used me for sex and was inlove with another..so i swore that i would never trust or be with another man the only man i trust is nik now" i shrug
"im sorry babygirl" she tells me sincerely "and really niklaus?" she frowns
"im fine no worries" i smile fakely "and yes nik and me have been bestfriends since i could walk he knows everything about me and is always there" i tell her as she pours me another
"but how are you really babygirl?" she asks me knowingly
i look up at gloria sighing trying to think how to answer her truthfully without giving anything away
"im tired" i simply reply to her
she looks at me with that stare that tells you she knows your keeping something from her..best thing about gloria is she absolutely adores me. she would do anything for me and be anything i need..a friend..a witch..a mother figure..anything at all which makes me smile this women infront of me has always been there for me since she was 16 years old thats what 98 years now? might aswell tell her she wont stop pestering otherwise
"im tired of doing the same thing..wakeup.. eat, breathe, cause mayhem, getting drunk then go to sleep before waking up and repeating it the next day..my life is boring after a 1000 years you have nothing exciting to live for just learning the new technology and how the young people talk" i tell her boredly
"you need some excitement in your life babygirl" she says to me knowingly
"there is no excitement..unless you know of any wars coming up?" i question with a silly grin looking up at her for a moment
"nope i dont sorry" she chuckles
"i might just let mikael stake me when he next finds us" i say putting my face in my hands
gloria slaps the back of my head making me chuckle at her attempt to harm me
"now you listen here and listen good girly..your the only original i like and i refuse to let you throw your life away just cause your bored..go do something exciting and thrilling with your life" she tells me throwing her hands in the air for dramatic effect making me laugh genuinely.
the last time i laughed genuinely was when we were humans and i had just given birth papa let me and kol hold our baby before mikael took it away and giving it to my eldest brother and his wife who had been trying for a child for two years. i never smiled or laughed genuinely after that really and if i did it was very rare that it would happen.
"there it is" she grins "my favourite sound in the whole world is your laugh and no im not a lesbian" she points her finger at me before i can make any jokes
i hold my hands up in surrender chuckling at her
"i miss my baby" i tell her
she stops what shes doing turning to me wide-eyed i had never brought it up or told anyone who wasnt there about my baby
"you had a child?" she gasps holding my hands lookig at me with sympathy
"yes a beautiful baby boy out of wedlock" i tell her sighing
"what happened?" she asks
"my father and mikael happened" i shrug gulping my drink down
"you mean the mikael thats been hunting you down?" she asks
i nod my head as she hands me another drink listening as i retell my story
"so im guessing one of the mikaelsons was the father" she says knowingly
"kol" i answer "he would of been a brilliant dad" i tell her "too bad neither of us got the chance" i say quieter
"im so sorry babygirl" she says squeezing my hand
"dont be isnt your fault..its my own" i sigh sadly
i down my drink as i hear someone clear their throat we turn around to see nik and rebekah looking at me with pain in their eyes and stefan watching confused
"you have a kid?" he asks confused
"had the baby is long dead now" i dead pan
he stays silent as i finish my next drink and gloria just hands me the bottle and i start drinking away my pain like always
"well shes here so lets get this over with" nik says
he looks over at me to see if i was alright but i pull a fake grin but he can see through it and looks sadly at me sliding in the seat next to me wrapping an arm round my shoulder bringing me closer to him
"im always here for you" he whispers sincerely squeezing my shoulder
i smile up at him holding the bacardi bottle up to him he chuckles taking the bottle and having a long gulp when gloria calls us over
"well i bloody lost the necklace" rebekah growls
"your proving to be useless sister" nik glares at her
"why not use rebekah she did wear it for a 1000 years" i speak up
gloria smiles at me
"see this one offers me a solution" she sahs glaring at all three of them making me chuckle
rebekah sits on the table and gives gloria her hand as she starts muttering things when she finally snaps her eyes open but there completey white..which is kinda creepy to be honest
"i see..3 girls all sitting around a kitchen..there laughing about something" she murmers
"well she wont be bloody laughing for long cause im gonna kill her" rebekah complains
"hm intresting" she mutters to herself so quietly i barely heard it
"whats going on?" nik asks crossing his arms over his chest
"one of them is a witch..shes interefering with my spell" she mutters
she lets go of rebekahs hand and her eyes turn back to normal but she takes a quick glance at stefan making me very curious
"im gonna need some more time" she tells nik
shes acting rather strange now..i should know, i know her better than anyone
"right we will be back later" nik tells her
i wave goodbye to gloria and start walking off to my car opening the drivers door when a shadow is right behind me
"yes nik?" i ask politely
"im sorry" he tells me
i sigh knowing he would bring it up eventually might aswell get it over with
"it was a longtime ago nik no need to dwell im happy" i smile fakely
"you do know we were there for most of that conversation right?" he asks
"oh perfect" i say sarcastically with an eye roll
"im always here odette" he says
i look up at him in shock he hasnt called me odette in 200 years since he daggeres kol really
"i know niklaus" i smile weakly
"can you promise me one thing?" he asks looking directly into my eyes with a serious face
"depends what is it?" i ask curiously
"dont go getting yourself killed" he pleads with so much emotion in his voice
"i wont promise that nik..you know id die for you" i smile weakly at him "bestfriends forever right?" i remind him
"vie.." he says warningly
"i promise you nik..ill try to find something worth living for" i sigh
he looks at me not sure what to say when he grabs my arms pulling me into a big hug letting out a long sigh
"this world would truely be boring snd lifeless if you disappeared" he mumbles
"and whys that?" i ask him playfully
"because i would probably destroy everything in my path" he states
i howl with laughter and he soon joins in
"how about we go somewhere for a quick drink?" i offer with a grin
"dont go fun on me" he jokes
"hardy ha-ha" i say sarcastically rolling my eyes
"oh cmon vie..you know im joking" he teases
"yeah yeah..whatever" i smile shoving him playfully
"ILL COME" rebekah shouts making us laugh even more
and that lead to a fun afternoon like we used to have..making me feel human again
