Her shriek shattered the silence of midnight.
A man stumbled through the doorway to his wife's side.
"Thyria, what's wrong?" He reached the bedside and tried to calm his distraught wife.
"Oh, Durim," she gasped, "It was horrid."
"What was?"
Thyria raised a trembling hand to her mouth.
"A battle," she whispered. Her eyes widened as she recounted her vision. "God, save us all."
