~Cordae's POV~
we had to leave our vacation early because we basically did an saw everything within the 3 days we were there, Nicole was PISSED because that meant we had to go home and there was a 95% chance that we'd bump into arianna. Nicole didn't say anything the entire car nor jet ride home. it only took us 5 hours to get home so it was still daytime.
Nicole: "ughhhh!" She yelled as she marched into the house and angrily sat on the sofa as Nicole's personal bag handlers brought our stuff in. Ko brought lay in since she could fully walk on her own.
Koko: "come on lay let's go take a bath" she said as she picked her up and walked to the bathroom
Ko's been really helpful lately and she's proven that she more than capable of taking care of her sister so we let her.
I looked over a nicole who was laid out on the sofa in despair with her head between the cushions
"Mammas what's up?"
Nicole: "I just wanted to have a week vacation and relax with my family but nooo were so rich we did everything there was to do and saw everything there was to see within 3 days" she said as she looked at me with tears in her eyes
I hugged her as I laughed
Nicole: "no get off me since you find my pain funny" she said as she tried to get out of my grip
So I sat on her.
Nicole: "dude!" she said as she started laughing
"What?"
Nicole: "come on you're squishing my lungs!" She semi yelled with laughter
I was about to say something until the door bell rung. I looked down at Nicole and she looked up at me
Nicole: "Should we get that?" She asked in a whisper
"I don't know and I really don't wanna get up" I whispered back
We thought whoever was at the door had left but nope.. they knocked again.
Nicole: "ugh. Can you get it?"
"Why can't you get it?"
Nicole: "for starters..you're sitting on me" She said as she burst out in laughter
"Oh yeah" I said as I got up to answer the door. "Who is it?" I yelled
Al: "it's al"
"Here I come" I yelled even though I was already near the door. I signaled Nicole to go hide in the room. I waited till I heard the door close to open the door.
"What's up bro!?" I said as I gave him a hand shake
Al: "I've been coolin" he said as he stepped aside revealing Ari
Ari: "I'll wait outside it's fine" she said as she sat on the step
I took a deep breath and let out a sigh.
"Nah come on in" I said
She hopped up and walked inside
"You can sit down if you want"
She nodded her head, sat down and gave al a look that I couldn't really read
Al: "um I brought Ari here because she wanted to say a few things"
"Y'all couldn't of called?"
Al: "nah" he said as he rolled his eyes
Ari: "we could have but I wanted to do this in person"
She said as she stood up
"Do what?"
Ari: "apologize for my reckless behavior and hurting you or Nicole in any way, shape, or form"
I raised my eyebrow in confusion because she's apologized before and continued to do dumb shit so I was skeptical if I wanted to believe her or not
Ari: "um I've been goin to therapy and I've gotten myself together so no more fuck shit from me, I promise! you don't have to except my apology just know that I'm truly sorry and I want to make things right between us...well everybody because I was a complete dickbucket" she said with small laughter
"Okayyy..." I said as I sat down slowly
Ari: "um I Uh...sorry I Uh" she said while stuttering.
I could tell she was getting nervous and I was even more confused cuz I've never seen her do that before
Al: "what she's tryna say is that she's gonna host a dinner down at the China buffet at 8:00 tonight and she's like for you, nick, and the kids to come. She's already been properly introduced to Alycia and she's apologized to nahmir"
"He forgave her?"
Ari: "um he said that he'll be cordial with me until I prove myself trustworthy"
"And Alicia?"
Ari: "She said she doesn't have any hard feelings towards me because I've never actually done anything to her"
"That makes sense"
Ari: "um is Nicole here? I'd like to apologize to her as well"
"Um she's..uh-"
Nicole: "I'm right here" she said as she walked out of the bedroom in booty shorts and a tank top
I silently prayed that nothing went left because I honestly had no stamina to be breaking up any fights.
Ari: "Hey" She said lowly as she rubbed the back of her neck
Nicole: " hello" she replied with her arms folded
Ari: "you look good" she said with a small smile
Nicole: "I always do" she said in a mono tone as she sat down
Ari: "look I didn't come to argue and fight with you Nicole. I came to apologize for the shit I've done in the past and to invite you to my apology dinner tonight"
Nicole: "Okay?"
Ari: "Ching help me please" She said as she rubbed her temples
Al: "look I'm vouching for her. I spent a whole week with her ass and in my opinion she's really been on her game soooo I think she deserves at least 1 last chance...please"
"I'm cool. I stopped caring the day we took Ziah and left"
We all looked looked at Nicole and waited for her answer
Nicole: "fine since I'm not the one to hold a grudge" she said as she reached out for a hug
Ari: "really! Omg you WONT regret this I promise!" She said as they hugged
At this point me and al were completely dumbfounded
Nicole: "So about this din-"
Ko: "dad! Celaya threw up on me!" She yelled as she ran into the room with lay
Al: "hey kid!"
Ko: "hi Tío al" she said as she ran towards me
"I got her" I said as I sipped the vomit Off Of lay's mouth with my sleeve
Ko: "ew" she replied as she carefully took the hoodie she had off
Ari: "woah Ko got big!"
Nicole: "Yeah i know, time is flying!"
Ari: "how old she?"
Ko: "I'm 6"
Ari: "she's the same age as Ziah?!"
Nicole: "yeah they're 3 and a half months apart remember?"
Ari: "your not Titi nova!? Who ARE you?"
Ari: "my names Arianna"
Nicole: "she's your cousin"
Ko: "I though I only had 3 cousins"
"Ko She's your mommy's cousin which makes her your cousin"
Ko: "So now I have sir, Anthony, Ziah, and Arianna?"
Al: "Don't forget whatever I name my kid
When al said that I realized that meant he was stepping up for his kid. I smiled at Nicole and she smiled back at me.
Ko: "do you have any kids Ari?"
Ari: "yeah I have a daughter"
Ko: "whats her name"
Ari looked at me, I looked at Nicole, Nicole looked at al, and al looked at Ari
Nicole: "eh go ahead"
Ari: "I'm ziah's mommy"
Ko: "how? Ziah doesn't even have a mom" she said which caused everyone to gasps
"OKAYYYY You know what... Ko Give me Your hoodie, I'll put it in the washing machine" I said as an attempting to steer the conversation somewhere else.
Once she handed me her hoodie I looked at the tag and made a awkward face
Ko: "what's wrong?"
"Princess looks like this is dry clean only..we can drop it off in our way to dinner tonight"
Lay: "mama" she said as she walked over to Nicole
My eyes went wide as I looked at Nicole as she started to cry
Nicole: "cordaeeeee" She said as she picked up lay with tears in her eyes
Al: "I'm so confused"
"Bro those are her first words!" I said hella hype as I kneeled on the floor next to Nicole where lay was
Nicole: "come on say mama again" she said as she recorded lay with her phone
Lay: "dada"
Nicole's smile dropped as mine grew bigger
"Come on come to dada" I said
She laughed and clapped her hands
"Come on" I said to her in a baby voice
Lay: "no"
I looked at Nicole in complete shock as she returned the same look to me
Nicole: "What the?"
Ko: "lay lay say Koko"
Lay: "Koko"
Ko: "I taught her that" she said smiling
"Wait Ko how long as she been doin this for?"
Ko: "I don't know, a couple days"
Nicole: "are you serious?"
Ko nodded her head
Nicole: "well what was the first thing she said?"
Ko: "Dada, that's why I would always bring her to daddy"
Nicole looked at me and I gave her my smirk of satisfaction
"Ha!" I said
Al: "anyway we still have to take a trip back home so we can get ready for tonight"
"How should we dress?"
Ari: "casual cute" she replied as her and al headed for the door
Nicole: "gotcha see you guys tonight" she said as she closed the door
"Well that was um...new"
Nicole: "I think a lot has happened today"
"Well you and Ari made up..."
Nicole: "And we found out our child could talk"
"And we found out Al's planning on stepping up!"
Nicole: "I have a feeling that today might be a good one"
"Should we tell them about the wedding? It's in 2 months and we still haven't told them"
Nicole: "I guess...should I ask Ari to be a bridesmaid?"
"Yeah I think that'll make happy"
Nicole: "did you pick the best man yet?"
"Yeah imma go with gliz cuz nahmir said that was too much pressure for him. You pick a maid of honor?" I replied with laughter
Nicole: "yeah I decided on nova even though she got on my damn nerves she's still my sister"
"Can believe in 2 months we'll have a 6 year old, a 1 year old and we'll be having a wedding?!"
"Who thought life would have turned out this way?" I said as I kissed her forehead
Nicole: "Okay now lets go get ready" she said as she ran toward our bed room
This was gonna be and interesting dinner
