I woke up to the car jumping, like fully on jumping, It startled me, so I got up.
"What the hell?" I screamed "what's this?".
John didn't answer me, I huffed air in annoyance and looked from the window, I squinted my eyes and look at the ground, it was very poorly maintained.
Then suddenly, the car stopped.
"I HATE THIS" John hit the steering wheel angrily and put his head on it.
"W-what happened?" I asked slowly.
"Tires busted" John mumbled.
"Don't we have a spare one or something?"
"I don't think so, let me check, stay here and don't move" he said sternly.
"I'm not a kid, don't talk to me like that" I glared at him.
He just ignored and left the car.
I looked around in the car, Cameron and Tyler were still sleeping, they didn't even flinch to John slamming the car.
"There isn't any spare tires" he said while sitting back inside.
"Is there any repair shop around?" I looked from the window "never mind", we were practically in the middle of no where.
"What are we going to do now?" This situation was getting scarier with every moment passing.
"Wake these two up" John pointed to the sleeping heads in the car.
I shook Cameron's body until he woke up, and John did the same with Tyler.
"Where are we?" they both asked while rubbing their eyes, the sudden light made their eyes squint and they closed them again.
"I dont know" John said with his head rested back on the head seat and his eyes closed.
"Huh?" Tyler asked while stepping out of the car, Cameron and me followed.
Cameron massaged his temples stressed and Tyler was shocked; dramatically.
"This can't be real!" Tyler sat down on the gravel road and covered his mouth with his hand.
"I'll try and call someone to get help" Cameron whispered in shock and went to get his phone.
He searched in his pockets, but then remembered he left it in the car.
"No signal" Cameron said after he came with his phone.
"Shit" I said, okay, so we where in an unknown place, with no signal and a busted tire.
"Try and look around, maybe we can find a place or like a restaurant" Cameron asked, he was always the one to think unlike Tyler who just screams and cries.
"Are you crazy?" Tyler screamed "if we looked around, we'd probably end up dead" Cameron closed his eyes trying to calm himself down.
"Tyler, be serious for a minute, listen, you'll go here" Cameron motioned to the right side, "Rose, your here" he pointed to the left side "and I'll go there".
"Proof your crazy!" Tyler yelled "I'm not moving from this point" he snapped his fingers very sassily.
"You either search, or die and rot in hell" Cameron snapped "now let's go".
I sighed nodding my head, and surprise surprise, Tyler got up to search, he didn't look very happy about it though, but before we even started walking, John came from the car looking completely pissed off.
"Your literally planning everything without telling me" he shouted, Cameron rolled his eyes.
"Well it's not my problem you were sleeping" Cameron screamed back.
"Oh really?! At least I wasn't the one to sleep all the way till here!" John back fired at Cameron.
"Guys stop!" I held Cameron's hand "you all are stressed but this will not help, your screaming will make things harder now".
They both looked ashamed and just nodded their heads, I feel like a mom scolding her four years old children.
"Now instead of going alone, me and Cameron will go together, and you" I said pointing at Tyler "will go with John".
"Come here after 20 minutes, or when you just get tired".
"Let's cover the car first, so no one will see it" John said.
"I highly doubt that" I stuck my tongue and him.
"Now go".
Me and Cameron started our walk, I was kicking stones on the ground, until the question popped on my mind.
"Hey cam" I nudged his side.
"Yeah?" he lifted his head from the ground and looked at me.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure thing, love" he smiled softly.
"I sometimes think, ho- how, are we brothers? like it's really weird thinking of it" I crooked my head to the side.
The smile on his face faded away ever so slightly.
"It's a long long story Rosie" he pressed his lips to a thin line "but all you need to know it's that I'm your brother and your my sister" he smiled again.
"We have time, Cameron, please tell me" I tried to get him spill the words out.
He hesitated before he started talking, looking into the sky.
"If you didn't already know, were half brothers" he paused, and glanced at me "I have a different mother than yours" Cam explained.
I tucked in a few strands of hair that had fallen from my bun behind my ear, and nodded my head urging him to complete.
"We have the same dad though" he chuckled, I smiled at his cheekiness.
"But when did you know?" I asked.
"Well, at first, when I came to school, I never knew your were my long lost sister" Cam sighted.
"So you recently knew that?" I was getting impatient.
"Mhmm" he hummed back in approval.
After a few minutes, Cameron spoke.
"It's weird".
"What?"
"How suddenly I have an older sister" Cameron grinned "but I like it".
"Me too" I smiled softly.
We walked for a few more minutes untill I saw it, something was glowing back there, there was a sign, back there, there was light, I can see it!
"Cameron! look!" I pointed to the McDonald's sign that was in front of us.
"That's great! let's go back then".
We hurriedly went back to the car, to find the two idiots laying inside it.
"We found something" Cameron said.
"McDonalds!" I indicated.
"What are you waiting for?!" Tyler screamed "let's go!".
"Calm down Tyler" John uttered.
He rolled his eyes back at John.
"I think there would be a gas station beside it, so maybe we could get a tire or something, it's not that far anyways" I spoke.
"Okay then, let's go" John said while trying to fit his wallet in his pocket.
"Give it to me" I laughed at him, the wallet was too big, so I just kept it in my bag.
When we reached McDonald's, John stopped stopped.
"Why'd you stop?" Tyler questioned.
"I'll go get a tire from the gas station and I'll come, you guys go".
"Okay".
I kinda felt bad for leaving John all alone, but I didn't want to go with him, so I just ignored the bad feeling and sped to catch up with the boys.
"I'll order some nuggets, but in a meal" I said after I looked through the menu.
I ordered for me and the boys, and took them to our table.
"Is there signal over here?" Cameron asked.
"Check" I told him.
"There is" he mumbled.
While Cameron was doing something on his phone, John came back.
"I got someone to fix the car, and I drove it over here" he said pointing outside the window, we nodded our heads and went back to what we were doing.
"I want some ketchup" Tyler whined.
"Well move your big butt and get some" I said very sassily.
"I was going to anyways" Tyler snapped back and went to get his ketchup.
"So you brought the tyre?" Cameron asked without looking from his phone.
"Yeah, it was pretty cheap, hope it works though" John said while munching on some French fries.
Tyler came with a horror look on his face, his face was pale as the wall behind him.
"What happened?" I giggled "You look like you saw a ghost" Cameron and John chuckled.
"Because I did see a ghost" Tyler said with a straight face that made me burst into laughter.
"I'm being serious, listen" I wiped my tears that had escaped my eyes because of the excessive laugh I had and nodded my head towards him.
"I saw one of our class mates, and if he saw us he would inform the police right away".
This was it, I thought to myself, maybe this is my chance to escape?
I had mixed feelings, I wanted to stay with my brother, but then, this "kidnapping" is going no where, i dont even know what they want from me? Right.
"We finished our food anyways, so let's go" Cameron chucked his phone in his pocket and got up with us three behind him.
I walked alone, thinking, maybe I could escape?
"Umm, John" He was the closest to me "I need to go to the rest room for a minute" he just nodded his head and walked.
I saw from the tip of my eye Cameron asking about me, John just pointed his finger at me, I waved to them and went back inside.
"Hi! what can I help you with?" the lady working here asked rather excitedly, and smiled, which to me, it looked totally fake, back to the point.
"I need the rest rooms, where we they?" I smiled sweetly, hopefully she'll learn from me.
"Straight to the left, and then go right" I nodded to her and walked slowly thinking about whether to stay or to go.
I finally reached the place after I got stuck somewhere, I pushed the door, and went inside.
I looked at my reflection, it was somewhat normal, if that's what you would call it, I had large eyebags under my eyes, I didn't care though, I needed to make a decision right now.
I backed up untill my back hit the wall, resting my head on the wall, I closed my eyes, and slipped on the hard tiled floor.
I placed my head in my hands, this was so frustrating, i dont know what to do, I really need my mother, I tried calling but my phone is out of charge.
"Damn it!" I screamed.
I felt tears sting my eyes, I felt them coming, I didn't want them to fall though.
I really need to get up, I tried to compose myslef but couldn't, my mind started to faze, my view was fading, everything around me was moving,
A lady came in, to see me on the floor, she yelled something, I think it was help? I couldn't make what she said, but soon, people started to rush in, I felt my self zoning out.
Black spots started to form in my eyes, and then, I fell into darkness.
