London POV
Wiping my tears, I opened the door to the one area I know I can have peace and quiet; the pool area.
I couldn't help but admire how beautiful it was.
I was always told Sophie loved to garden but I didn't expect her to be this good.
The pool was huge, it had purple lights in the water, and there was a zig zag kind of thing, separating the Jacuzzi to the pool. Inside Sophie had planted some flowers. Overall the pool area was gorgeous.
I decided to sit near the middle, dipping my feet into the cool water, I couldn't help but sigh.
The water was freezing but after a few seconds my feet got used to it.
I couldn't stop myself from thinking about today, I feel stupid for letting it get to me.
It's not like were really married or in love, so why do I care?I shouldn't, I shouldn't have shouted at him or even waited for him to return home. Wait, home?
What's gotten into me?
Just because I got use to this place, it doesn't mean it's my home. Sometimes I feel like slapping myself. A sigh escaped my lip whilst put my hand in my head.
Suddenly I heard heavy footsteps behind me, his cologne hitting me like a brick.
Without even looking back, I knew it was him.
"I'm sorry for screaming at you, it's not like were really married. . .
I shouldn't care, I'm sorry Shadow." I glanced in the reflection of the pool to find a painful look on his face.
"No it isn't your fault, its mine, I shouldn't of done what I did." He apologized, he sounded like he regretted it a lot.
Knowing he's going to touch me, I quickly said
"Don't touch me with your filthy hands!" I guess I'm still angry. Ergh I've never felt like this before and to be honest I don't like this feeling, I heard him sigh.
No one spoke, I could literally feel the awkwardness and the tension, it was painful.
Just as I was about to stand up and leave, I felt him move and come sit next to me.
"You know, I only did it because of you and Carter." He says, breaking the silence.
"But I told you-"
"I know but seeing you in his arms...." He interrupted.
"That isn't fair Shadow. . ." Turning around, our eyes locked.
His eyes held a lot of emotions but two stood out the most, regret and anger, I guess he really was jealous.
"I know." He muttered, not breaking the stare
I couldn't take my eyes off him, he was just so beautiful.
I shouldn't even be looking at him after what he did, but I couldn't help but feel bad like I should be the one to be blamed.
I feel like I shouldn't hold it against him.
My heart was slowly melting for him, I couldn't stop it.
His eyes travelled from mine to my lips, his eyes held lust and hunger. He slowly leaned forward, and tenderly kissed my cheeks, making me blush.
"I like you, London." He breathed in my ear.
Suddenly I felt cold.
I felt his presence disappear, I looked towards him, to only come face to face with his feet, I glanced up to see he had stood up and was walking off.
Just when he reached the door he quickly turned around.
"Nothing's changed, you stay as the sarcastic bitch and I carry on being the arshole" He winked, causing me too chuckle.
"Goodnight Shadow."
"Goodnight, London."

If you feel that she had forgiven him too quickly, I explain why in the authors not- Clear the air but if you read that, it may spoil a few things for you but I promise she has a valid reason.

was it too romantic? i hope this doesn't put you off, i feel like some people will stop reading books, if it gets too romantic, like i didn't want to disappoint them and my romantic readers, so hopefully this didn't put you off
