(A/n) I had to finish this all in 1 day, so I'm sorry if this chapter sucks)
(Y/N)'S POV
I was flying above the sea to an island that was just off the coast of Fiore. Erza hitched a ride on a pirate ship by intimidating the captain. Oak decided to stay at home, he thought he'd just get in the way. I flew over to the ship and started talking with Erza.
(Y/n): what was that idiot thinking? he's not ready to take on an S-class quest. he'll get himself killed out there.
Erza: well, that's why we're going to retrieve him and the others. They're going to be punished for breaking the rules and going on this quest.
(Y/n): knowing you, you'll probably just give them that horrifying stare you do. Seriously, It's amazing how you can make someone stop in their tracks with just a simple glare.
Erza turned her head and seemed to blush a bit at my complement.
Erza: i-it may be simple, b-but it's effective.
(Y/n): yeah, we should probably hurry before they get hurt. Should I go on ahead?
Erza: that would be good. You can get there before me and find them before I arrive.
(Y/n): sounds good.
I began to charge up my magic.
(Y/n): APOCALYPSE DRAGON COMET!
White and red magic energy surrounded my body as I took off towards the island at the speed of sound. After about 15 seconds, I was at the island. I began circling the island, trying to get an aerial view so I could have a better chance of finding them. After a what felt like a few hours, I saw a crater in the middle of a forest clearing and noticed Natsu in the center knelt down in front of some stones. I landed just at the edge of the crater
Natsu: and I promise you...I will avenge your death.
(Y/n): NATSU!
He quickly turned his head and saw me jumping into the crater.
Natsu: oh, hey (y/n), when did you get here?
(Y/n): DON'T "hey (y/n)" ME! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! ONLY S-CLASS WIZARDS CAN GO ON JOBS LIKE THIS!
Natsu: well, you go on S-class missions all the time, so it can't be that hard.
I stayed silent for a bit and felt my left eye start to twitch.
(Y/n): run.

I was chasing Natsu through the forest with my sword, clearly with killing intentions.
(Y/n): I'LL TEACH YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFICULTIES OF S-CLASS QUESTS! GET OVER HERE SO YOUR DEATH CAN BE QUICK!
Natsu: JUST GIVE ME IT MINUTE TO EXPLAIN!
(Y/N): NOT GONNA HAPPEN! NOW, STOP RUNNING!
Natsu turned a corner and disappeared behind a tree. I ran all around it, but it looked like he managed to loose me.
(Y/n): damnit. Well, I better go see if Erza's finally here.

I wandered into what seemed to be an extended part of a village. I looked around and eventually found Erza, Lucy, Happy, and Grey.
(Y/n): hey, Erza.
Erza: there you are, (y/n). Did you find Natsu?
(Y/n): I did, but I lost him in the forest.
Erza: well, we might come across him on our way to the temple.
(Y/n): what?
She turned to Lucy and Happy.
Erza: would you 2 like to explain the situation.
Lucy: well, apparently these villagers turn into demons every night because of a magic ritual going on at this temple. They're trying free a monster that's trapped in ice under the it. The whole thing is being orchestrated by an old rival of Grey's.
(Y/n): ok.
Grey: let get going before we're too late
We began running through the forest towards the temple. Before we arrived, Grey started telling us about Lyon and Deliora.
(Insert Grey's flashback here)
After that I saw that Lucy had a confused look on here face.
Lucy: hey guy, is it just me or does that temple look a little crooked right now?
Happy: what happened to it?
Grey: I'm guessing Natsu.
Erza: me too.
(Y/n): so that's where my prey went.
Grey: I don't know how he managed to pull it off, but he's the only one who'd do something that crazy. It's a pretty great idea if he did it on purpose. Since the temple's tilted like that the moon light won't hit Deliora.
Lucy: you mean his habit of destroying stuff actually came in useful for once?
Suddenly, several blades were sent flying towards us. I deflected a few with my sword and Erza punched Lucy and Happy out the way of a few more.
Erza: Who's there?!
A large crowd of cloaked people appeared.
???: We've track you down, Fairy Tail.
???: We won't allow you to interfere.
Grey: not these guys.
Erza: Lyons minions?
I unsheathed my sword and grinned.
(Y/n): Hell yeah, I've been waiting for something like this to happen!
Erza's POV
We we're just about to fight a large group of Lyon's minions. Grey went off to the temple, leaving me, Lucy, and (y/n) to fight. (Y/n) was ready to charge when his head perked up. He began looking around as if something else was there with us.
(Y/n): something smells funny.
He then ran off into the forest to find whatever he was smelling. One of the minions in front of us started to yell out orders.
???: Don't let him get away, after him!
About 15 minions went after (y/n), which meant we had to handle the rest of them.
Lucy: do you think he'll be ok on his own?
Erza: of course, I'm confident that he'll make short work of them.
(Y/N)'S POV
I ran through the forest looking for the source of that strange smell. It felt like my nose was playing tricks on me cause the smell seemed to be coming from every direction. I stopped and looked around some more.
(Y/n): where the hell is it coming from?!
Then out of nowhere, another one of those blade were heading my way. I lifted my hand and caught it before it hit my face.
???: Found ya!
???: It's about time.
A bunch of those cloaked goons came out from behind the trees a readied their weapons.
(Y/n): seriously? I'm kinda in the middle of something here.
???: Oh, you'll have plenty of time to do what you need...in the after life.
They started charging at me and I sighed.
(Y/n): fine, let's get this over with. APOCALYPSE DRAGON ROAR!
My attack managed to wipe they all out in 1 shot. I began searching again, until I heard a strange voice.
???: Impressive, your lost magic is truly powerful.
I looked up and saw a short man wearing a mask sitting on a tree branch.
(Y/n): your the source of what I was smelling. So who are you, and why do you smell like perfume?
???: It doesn't matter who I am, it only matters what I know.
(Y/n): and what might that be?
???: I'll only tell you if you accept a little bargain.
(Y/n): what's the bargain?
???: I'll tell you what I know, but only if you turn on your friends.
I was stunned, did this guy really think I would just betray my friends?
(Y/n): WHAT?! There no way in hell I'm taking that deal! Whatever you have to tell me isn't worth taking out my friends.
I turned around and began to walk away.
???: Really, not even if it's about your parents?
I stopped in my tracks, I slowly turn my head.
(Y/n): how do you know about that.
???: I know a lot of things that you don't. So, do we have a deal.
A chill ran up my spine, this might be the only way I could find out about my real family. I shook the thought out of my head.
(Y/n): n-no, what ever you know I'm bound to find out sooner or later.
???: Well that's to bad.
He raised his hand in my direction and my eyelids became really heavy. I fell to the ground and everything went black.
I woke up and saw the shimmering stars above me.
(Y/n): damnit, I need to stop getting knocked out cold.
I got up and made my way back to the village. When I arrived I saw everyone celebrating. I noticed Lucy and made my way toward her, she noticed me first though.
Lucy: oh, hey (y/n). Where were you?
(Y/n): it's a long story. So I did you guy managed to stop Deliora.
Lucy: yep, and we fixed the village's problem too, turns out they were demons the whole time.
(Y/n): good, I'm glad that everything turned out ok. Anyway, I need to sit down for a bit, I'm feeling a little dizzy.
Lucy: ok, I'll talk to you later.
I went over to a nearby bench and sat down. Today was pretty hectic, the village, Deliora, Lyon, and that masked man. How did he know about my parents, what could he know that don't already know?
???: are you ok, (y/n).
I looked up and saw Erza standing in front of me.
(Y/n): yeah, I'm fine, why?
She sat down beside me.
Erza: it's just that you seem a bit on edge, are you sure you're ok?
I looked down and sighed.
(Y/n): well, something happened when I ran off earlier. This guy in a mask wanted to make a deal with me. He wanted me to turn on you guys in exchange for information about my parents.
Erza: well, he underestimated your loyalty to your guild mates.
(Y/n): that's not the bad part. The bad part is that I actually considered it.
I clenched my fist in anger.
(Y/n): I'm so stupid, the very thought of having to fight 1 of you to the death makes me sick to my stomach, but I actually thought about doing it for information that might not even be true.
Erza grabbed my head and slammed it into her chest plate.
Erza: it doesn't matter if you considered it or not, what matters is that you refused to. Don't forget, you're a member of Fairy Tail, and nothing can change that. I believe you'll find out about your family some day, but for now, let just focus on the present.
I looked up at her and smiled.
(Y/n): thanks Erza, I needed that.
