I woke up and was searching through my book for any other people that could take the last spot in my peerage.
Y/n: " I need a pawn so is there anyone interesting? " I ask reading.
I then come upon something interesting.
The one eyed owl a highly dangerous ghoul and should be treated with great care. The book reads.
But then I saw something unfathomable. It didn't have their real identity. I was interested. If my book didn't know it might just be worth it.
Y/n: " Gil. Artoria. " I say closing the book.
Goo and artoria: " Yes? " they both ask.
Y/n: " go put on some normal clothes. We're going out for a bit. " I say.
They both leave and I sit on the couch waiting.
After a few minutes they both walk back to me.

y/n: " Okay. We're going be careful. There's a race of people called ghouls. They apparently harvest on human flesh to survive. We need to be extremely careful. We might stay there for a few days to search for the person okay? " I ask.
Artoria and Gil: " Okay. " they both say nodding.
I teleport us and we appear in a alley and I walk out.
Y/n: " come on. " I say smiling and walking out of the alley.

Y/n: " Gil. your in charge of money. Artoria. Your going to find information on this world. " I say
I then see Him literally pick up a hundred dollar bill.
Y/n: " How?! " I ask astonished.
Gil: " wealth always finds its way to me. "
Y/n: " that's amazing! " I say.
I then put my hand on my chin.
Y/n: " Okay. We'll split up for a bit. Meet me back here in 30 minutes. " I say waving and walking away.
We separate and I start to walk away.
I was looking for anything.
It was night so I didn't expect anything. Until I heard a scream.
I ran towards it and see a man with blood on his mouth standing over a bloody woman.
Y/n: " Hello? " I ask.
Then I see him turn towards me and he was eating something
I almost threw up when I saw he was eating a piece of her arm.
Y/n: " BURN! " I shout in fear and literally burn him nothing.
I was surprised he died so quickly.
I ran over to the woman and helped her sit up.
Y/n: " Are you okay? " I ask.
She nods but I could tell she was just in shock.
Y/n: " Flames of heart. " I chant and she heals.
but I didn't make more flesh.
Y/n: " Is there a hospital nearby? " I ask.
She nods and points in a direction to our left.

I got her to a hospital and she was taken into a emergency room.
a few people from a organization called the ccg try to ask me questions but I ignore them.
I was sitting down curled up in fear.
I'd seen people for before but never being eaten.
???: " mind if I sit? " someone asks.
I look up and see a white haired kid smiling at me.
Y/n: " o-okay. " I say and he sits next to me.
???: " I'm Juuzou what's your name? " he asks.
Y/n: " Y-y/n. " I say with uncertainty.
Juuzou: " what exactly happened to her? " he asks.
Y/n: " A ghoul. " I say shivering.
he pats my back.
Juuzou: " don't worry he's gone now. "
I felt a little better from this.
Juuzou: " where are your parents? Or the people in charge of you? " he asks.
Y/n: " My friends Gil and Artoria. "
Juuzou: " where are they? " he asks.
Y/n: " I was supposed to meet them by a park. "
Juuzou: " Can you come with me to get them? " he asks standing up and holding out his hand.
I take it and he leads me away.

He led me to the park and I saw Him and Artoria.
I ran to them and hugged them openly crying.
Y/n: " I was so scared. " I say hugging them.

him looked a little uncomfortable and didn't know what to do but Artoria hugged him back.
She pats his head why he cries.
after a few minutes of crying he finally stops and sniffles.
Juuzou: " Okay. I'll see you around. " he says waving.
He walks away.
Gil: " I was able to get us a apartment. " he says.
then they notice he was asleep in Artoria's arms.
She picks him up and they walk towards the new apartment.
when they go inside Artoria takes one of the two beds holding y/n.
