They were like chalk and cheese
They hated each other and yet they pleased
They fought and cursed,
Kissed and loved,
Thought the worst,
Pushed and shoved.
She was alone and so was he
So they came together just to see
If two sad people could equal none
Their happiness shrunk, and so did the sun.
Their moods went up and down so fast
They were stuck in mud, living in the past.
They missed the tender moments they'd once shared
They avoided each other, they were awfully paired
So one night the man snuck into the shed
To see if he could off himself, sever his head
He was astounded to see his wife in his place
He screamed when he saw she was missing her face
She had beaten him to the deadly chop
She had hated her life, it had to stop
He was shocked that she had shared his thought
Just hours ago, roughly they had fought
And then he was laughing
But the truth came blasting
He was once again sad and lonely
He stopped, and turned around slowly
And thought that his wife could use some company
So he bowed and blew her a kiss abundantly
And he said to goodbye to thin air
The gruesome loving pair
