moving schools was annoying but i guess i was used to it now. i have never exactly made any friends to leave behind which made the moves easier, i guess. every school i had been to was exactly the same though: full of barbie dolls and hormonal teenage boys.
however this move would be a bit different, instead of moving states i was moving to the other side of the world: australia. my dad had got a new job doing whatever he did, i never really payed attention but everytime we moved i didn't even bother to unpack because i knew it wouldn't be long until we were on the road again.
but as always my parents made that fake smiled promise:
''this is the last move.'' my mother said as we were about to board the 21 hour and 45 minute flight to sydney, australia.
i grabbed my suitcase as we began walking to the aeroplane.
i was seperated from my parents which i wasn't over bothered about really... when the air hosts were giving their over rehearsed speeches i began to search for my ipod and headphones.
i set my music to shuffle mode and as i listened closley to each significant lyric that my eyelids became heavy and before i knew it i was sleeping.
