Regan's p.o.v.
"CAMERON?!" I yell, walking through the woods. It was late... Like 10pm, and I was still looking for him. The air turned cold and a little drizzle started falling. "Shit..." I muttered, trying to pull my little sweatshirt over me. I decided to look in the woods because it was the last place I saw him. I already stopped at Carter's, and no one was home at Nash's. I asked around but nobody knew where he or Nash was. A few tears slipped, I didn't mean for them to fall but whatever.
"REGAN?!!" I hear a voice yell from behind. I turn, looking for the sound of the voice.
"Hello?!" I ask, walking toward it. Suddenly I fell, something jabbing into my ankle, hurting like HELL. "Aghh!!" I groan, looking at the damage. A stick was jammed into my leg, blood oozing out of the cut. I wipe my tears away so I could see it. I look up only to be met by a pair of red eyes. I scream, trying to get away from whatever was in front of me,
"REGAN!" The voice yells again, only this time very close. I look back up to see the thing was gone and Hayes standing there instead.
"H-Hayes?!" I ask, holding my ankle. He whips around, running toward me.
"Regan! Oh my gosh! C'mon!" He says, picking me up bridal style. The rain was coming down heavily, surely making the situation much worse. He carries me through the woods, running across the street to his house.
"Where us everyone?" I ask tiredly, not being able to hold my tears.
"There all at grams, I'll text them and Marie. I'll tell them you are here..." He rambles, grabbing his phone out of his pocket. His hands were shaking like mad as he typed in the text. "Are you okay? What happened?" He asks, coming over to me.
"I don't know! I just fell and blood- and there was a person?! Well a thing and it had red eyes and I was scared! I just-" I rambled, Hayes grabs the side of my face and rubs it slowly and soothingly.
"Shhhh everything's gonna be okay... Okay? And we will find Cameron!" He says, pulling me in for a hug. I hug back and realize my ankle is still bleeding. He realizes it too and picks me up, taking me to the bathroom.
"Owwwww!!!" I moan as he puts a wet rag to it. He looks at me sadly and wipes it, blood all over the rag.
"You and I will be sleeping in my parents room tonight!" He says, getting his athletic wrap for it.
"Remember when I had to help you after your game when you hurt your knee..." I ask smiling. He looks at me and blushes. That was when we first kissed, I mean it was a friendship thing at the time... That's when I first started liking him.
"Yes and all better!" He says, taping the final piece down. I hopped down from the counter carefully, limping over to his bed.
"I am not sleeping in your moms room!" I say as he looks at me.
"Why not?" He groans, walking up to me.
"Because what if they get home and we are in their bed? How will they react Hayes?" I ask. To this day, he has NEVER won an argument against me... Well not that I remember...
"Ugh fine scootch over..." He says, hiding his smile. I move under the covers while he turns out the light
"I'm scared about Cam-" I started, suddenly his lips are pressed to mine, silencing me.
"We will find him okay?" He says, looking into my eyes. I blush and nod, laying down. Slowly drifting off into a needed sleep.
