I looked past Daryl's shoulder. "Oh shit!" I yelled and ran out the door. "Everyone gather ye shit we gotta leave, tha' herds gonna tear the house down, Glenn grab the guns!" I yelled. I grabbed a shotgun and some pistols and ran out guns a blazin'.
I watched as everyone got in cars and shot. I ran left and right dodging walkers.
After a while I watched everyone leave me behind. I grabbed the gun bag and put in some of my clothes. I shifted and grabbed the bag and ran off into the forest.
(Next day)
I've been running all night and I got a couple walkers still after me. I pushed myself further and came across a small house with a tree house.
I shifted back and climbed up to the tree house. I watched the walkers stumble past the trees. I sighed in relief until I heard a gun cock. I turned around to see a girl about carls age point her revolver at me.
I put my hands up in surrender. "Wha's ya name?" She asked "Alex, ye?" I asked back. "Hate my real one call me AJ" she said. She stuck her hand out and I shook it.
I scanned her over and I could see her ribs and she looked pale. "Ye want some food AJ?" "Yes please I haven't eaten In days" she pleaded. I gave her a piece of jerky and she ate it in record time.
(Ricks POV)
Alex is gone. "No no no no no" I cried on the floor. Daryl was crying next to me. Carls trying to comfort me about Alex and I'm doing the same with him.
(Alex's POV three month later)
I have gotten a lot closer with AJ. We've told each other everything
She's actually cool with my werewolf side. I let her ride on my back when we travel.
Right now were walking along a road and I heard a truck coming and I ran into the woods. I shift back so I can we can continue on the road.
The truck stopped and two men got out. One guy was tall, brown hair, brown eyes. Other guy looked Hispanic, shorter than the other guy.
"Hello I'm the governor and that's Martinez" "congradumotherfucktulations 'governor' but we got places to go" I said. AJs getting sick and I have to find medicine.
"Your daughter looks sick we could help her, but first can we have your names?" "Alex that's AJ" I say.
The governor took us to his town and took AJ to the hospital set up. "Here let me guide you to your room. I'm sure you and your daughter will want to stay together" he says. I nod and set my bag on one of the beds.
I took out the picture of Rick Daryl and Carl I took on my birthday. I felt the bed dip and I saw AJ looking at me. I felt my cheek and it felt wet. I wiped them away.
"Who're they?" "Thats my husband Rick, my brother Daryl, and that's ricks kid Carl. Ye guys are bout the same age" I said.
"Oh" AJ said. There was a knock on the door. I went to see who it is. I opened the door and my jaw dropped. "Merle?". Ishook myhead thinking i was seeing things. "no alex its me" he said. I jumped up to hug him as he squeezed me tight like his life depended on it. "oh Merle this is AJ" i said pointing at AJ. ''hey dare girly" he drawled.
After Merle and me talked it was after curfew and Aj was fast asleep. we kept talking and somehow I ended working the wall. weird.
