Looking out to the ocean, Khol takes in the view as the firecrackers in her hands sparks on. She got them from the Stoll brothers, who took (more like stole) them from a local store nearby the camp. Right upon coming back, they were handing them out to the other campers, telling them to and she quote, “Crack away.”
Khol grabbed a set (they came in a pair) before even thinking about what she’s doing. After seeing its beautiful sparks though, Khol was glad she went for it. Who knows when she’ll get a hold of firecrackers again? Especially ones that were custom stole by the Stoll brothers?
