Matty sighed, trying to even out his voice before he answered.
"Yeah?" He said, closing his eyes and wiping tears from his face.
"Hey, adam told me to call you. He said you hadn't been back to your guys' hotel room in a few hours." Meg said. Matty couldn't help but smile bitterly even though her voice was soft and sweet.
"Of course." Matty said, looking around the park he had somehow walked to.
"Do you want to come over?" Meg asked, looking around her quiet apartment.
"Do you actually want me to come over?" Matty questioned aloud.
"What kind of question is that? of course i do." She laughed, and Matty knew she was smiling.
"There's a slight problem with this, love. I'm not exactly sure where I am." Matty realized, messing with his hair.
Meg slid on her shoes, "Then I'll come to you. Describe where you are."
"Meg, I highly doubt you'll know where I am-"
"Try me, I practically grew up here." She scoffed, attaching Mayhem's leash to his collar. "Also, I'm bringing my dog."
"That's fine with me, love."
