Dragging myself out the bed it was 8:00 in the morning and I was still in and out of the bathroom due to this damn hangover. As I emptied out everything I had left in me I flushed the toilet and began to run water to brush my teeth for the 4th time this morning.
"damn bestie you been in here since 6 throwing up" Zai spoke as she knocked me out my thoughts
"girl I know I feel terrible" I replied wiping my face
"I'm about to hop in the shower and we can go get breakfast if you feel up to it" Zai responded as she made her way upstairs
"Alright I'm hopping in too" I spoke as I began to run the shower water
I decided to go back and get my phone to play music, I hooked up the Bluetooth speaker and began to play Majornine Wine for me. Stripping down out of my clothes I then got into the hot water.
A song or three later I was interrupted by my phone ringing. I looked at the phone just to see Dave calling . He lucky it's him cause I was definitely not going to answer I thought.
"Helloooo" I spoke as I answered the call placing it on speaker
"Goodmorning beautiful" his soft but deep voice spoke out
"Goodmorning" i said as a smiled formed
"My bad ma I hear you in the shower just text me when you get out and I wanna take you to breakfast" he repsonded as he rushed the last part out
"Okayy I'll text you when I'm out" I said trying to hurry up so I could wash and be out already
Ending the call I than begun to wash, I wonder would he mind if Zai tagged along since she just offered me to breakfast as well I thought.
Turning off the water and stepping out the shower I grabbed my towel and slipped my feet in my slippers to walk across the floors to get to my room.
I plopped on the bed texting Dave to see if he would mind if Zai tagged along.
Reading his response I locked my phone and went to go find Zai to let her know cause I know she won't mind.
"Zaiiiiii" I semi yelled walking upstairs
"yessss" she responded in the same tone
"Dave asked me to breakfast I told him you was tagging along and he insisted to bring T with us at 10" I said as I approached the guest bedroom which was hers at this point
"I see what he trying to do but alright I'm gonna start getting dressed then" Zai said as she chuckled knowing she wanted to see T
"Alright same" I said as I jogged back downstairs to my bedroom.
I guess I was just going to throw on something since we are just going to breakfast and I don't feel like beating my face I'm already drained.
I scanned through my closet of clothes that were hung up to find a mustard yellow dress I could just throw on with my white sandals.
"finally I fucking found it" I said aloud speaking to no one in particular
Slipping on the dress, I walked to my vanity to just throw my hair in a pony tail.
"I'm ready Lia" Zai said coming into the room
"Really bitch" I spoke looking her up and down realizing we were dressed similar
"You always want to match lovey dovey ass hoe" Zai replied laughing
"Girl bye, can you help me put my necklace on" I said as I handed her the necklace turning around
"Thank you now let me take a picture real quick" I spoke out as I handed her my phone
"Okay text Dave and let him know we're ready and take mines" Zai said as she handed me her phone not before I shot Dave a text
"But so wassup with you and T y'all messing round or something" I spoke up looking at her
"I don't even really know I just been chilling with him for a while after he went MIA I ran into him at that park he be playing ball at and we kicked it off from there" she said as she sat down on the couch in front of me
"Oh okay, that's good hopefully y'all can work something out he a good man but he lost just remember that Zai" I said as I got up
"But Dave outside so we can go" I stated as I got up to grab my purse off of the countertop
Locking up the house, Zai following not to far behind me to Dave's black Range Rover. Looking up I see Dave getting out and walking towards our side to open the car door. Oh wow he's a gentleman I thought.
"Mmm you look good ma" he said looking at me as he grabbed my arm pulling me into a hug
"Thanks Dave" I said smiling as I embraced his hug
"Sup sis" T spoke stepping out the car going into the backseat with Zai
"Heyy" I responded as I got in the passenger seat
Dave soon made his way around the car and hopped in and begun to pull off.
UGH, he seem so down to earth and just a gentleman all around. I know he's trying to get me to take interest in him but I can't just judge a book by the cover i got to get to know him more I thought.

I definitely enjoyed my night last night with Lia I just wanted to chill with her again and get to know her forreal I thought as I pulled off and out of her drive way
"Where are we even going to eat" Lia spoke up as she looked at me
"Lafayette" I responded as I looked at her and turning back towards the road
"Oooo Zai you remember that place" Lia said as she turned around waiting for Zai response
"Yess that use to be our favorite breakfast spot" Zai replied
"yo forreal?" I asked because that was my favorite breakfast spot as well
"yeah we use to come here all the time" Lia spoke as she looked down
"that's crazy this my joint" I responded as I looked at her seeing she was still looking down
She seemed as if I threw her off or said something wrong. I decided to ignore it and make a mental note to ask her about that later I thought as I turned up the music as Youngboy Slime Belief played through the speakers.
Turning into the parking lot of the restaurant I killed the engine and hopped out. Walking around to her side of the door, I opened it.
"Thank you" she said as she looked up at me with that smile
"no problem you know it's my pleasure" I said as I looked at her smirking
"but anyways let me get to know you a lil more Lia" I said as we approached the door of the restaurant
"and what is it you want to know stalker" she said as walked in the door
"anything you want me to know" I replied laughing at her slick remark
"How many" the host said as she grabbed menus
"2 for us" I spoke referring to me and Lia I assumed T and Zai was going to sit at there own table to catch up
"Okay follow me" The host spoke as she walked to the section of tables
"Here ya go" she said as she placed the menus down
"I'll be back to get you guys order" she spoke again as she walked away
"Now back to you Ms.Lia" I said looking at her once again "How old are you" I asked
"23 I'll be turning 24 the 5th of July what about you" she spoke out
"I just turned 26 April 16th" I replied
"okay okay and what do you do I mean for a living" she asked
"I'm in a business but that's a conversation we'll have further down the line what you do tho" I answered giving her my full attention
"Well I have a shop up I'm an MUA but I'm also attending school to become a nurse" she said as she scanned over the menu a tad
"your ambitious I like that" I said as I licked my lips
She smiled and spoke up "I just want to make something out of myself I want to bring kids into the world but I want them to be proud of who I am and what I do and be able to provide everything for them with no questions"
Everything is different about her. Her vibe her strive to want to make the best of her future. I'm not that well put together I have a lot to work on but I hope she can be there and help me through it
"Yeah I feel you on that ma, I ain't so perfect I got a lot to work on, on the other hand but hearing you talk like that you make a nigga want to try and do better" I said as I shook my head thinking about bringing kids into this world with the life I'm living I couldn't
"I'm sure you can do anything you put your mind to just don't give up Dave you seem like a good guy" she said turning to our waitress now approaching us
"Hello I'm Seven I'll be your server today" She said smiling more so in my face than anything
I hated when females did that ofcourse I like pussy but I can't stand someone who throws them self at someone and then she's smiling in my face with Lia right here this could be my girl and she being disrespectful I shook my head ignoring it
"Can I get a sprite" I said not knowing if she asked us what we wanted
"I'll take one too" Lia spoke out
"Okay and are you guys ready to order anything" Seven said as she looked between the two of us
"yeah I know what I want, you ready to order ma" I asked looking up at Lia
"yes may I get the soft scrambled eggs, chèvre, leeks truffle vinaigrette and a croissant" Lia said
"and for you" the waitress said as she turned my way smiling again
"I'll get the same thing" I spoke cutting it short
"Okay I'll be right back with that" she said while turning around twisting hard as hell as she walked off
"She looks fucking stupid, look like she broke her damn hip" I said clearly annoyed with how thirsty she was
"You are stupid Dave she seem like she was trynna impress little ol you" Lia said as she laughed
"Yeah ain't nothing little bout me ma" I said as I smirked
"I wouldn't know" she replied as she gave me a quick wink
Shaking my head at her comment I spoke up "How's your relationship with your family" I asked remembering how family oriented she seemed
"Umm I guess it's okay, me and my mom is really close and I'm not to fond of my dad but it is what it is" she responded shrugging her shoulders "what about you and your family" she asked
"My dad died when I was 6, he was shot 3 times in front of me by some men about some damn money" I got pissed as I thought about it "but my mom that's my First Lady, my whole world I love that woman" I spoke out as I smiled just thinking about the woman my mom is
"Wow I'm sorry about that and that's good, you have your mom to keep that ass in check" she said as she chuckled a bit
"nah that's what I got you for" I replied in a serious tone
"yeah we gon have to see bout that" she responded as she got ready for the food coming for us
"Here you guys go enjoy" Seven the waitress spoke as she sat the food and drinks down in front of us
Starting up a small conversation, we both continued to speak and enjoy our food. I honestly enjoyed her company. Her vibe is something I admire. I thought as I looked up at her smiling.
"what you smiling about creep" she said as she caught me smiling at her
"nothing just enjoying your presence" I responded as I placed money on the table for the food
smiling she replied as she stood up "aww your so cute but thank you that's a first"
Following me we went to Zai and T table to see if they were done eating yet.
"wassup man y'all done" I spoke up approaching there table
"yeah man I'm about to pay now" T said placing money on the table
"Ight we going to head to the car then" I responded as I grabbed Lia hand and walked to the car
Opening her door allowing her to get inside the car I walked around my side starting up the car. Turning my head I seen Zai and T approaching the car.
"aye ma I was gon drop them off and ask did you want to come to my place and we can chill and watch movies and shit I ain't got nothing to do today I wanna spend it with you" I said as I turned around to see her smiling
"yes I would enjoy that but can we stop back my house so I can change out this dress" she said
I nodded, waiting for the two of them to finish getting in the car. I soon backed up and proceeded to go to Lia house
"I'm about to go with Dave Zai" Lia spoke up as we pulled into her driveway
"Okay that's fine I'm just going to stay here since my car is at ma house I'll get it later though" Zai said as she hopped out the car with T
"Alright I'll be right back Dave" Lia said as she jogged her way into the house
As I waited I grabbed my phone checking my notifications seeing some unknown number text. Reading it I already knew it was some broad I don't want no parts with. Instead of responding I blocked the number leaving the text thread just in case.
Unlocking the car door, in stepped Lia. I looked over her a couple of times. This girl here I swear she looked good in anything she threw on.
"you too fine for your own good Lia" I said as I laughed
she chuckled and responded as she placed her seatbelt on "thanks I guess that's a compliment boy"
Shaking my head at her comment because she knew that, that was definitely a compliment. I started the car and slowly backed out the driveway, I pulled out and made my way to the end of the street that takes you in the direction of my house.
