{وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّي لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ الْمُرْسَلُونَ}
And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [ Allah said], "O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure. Surah Al Qasas (28:31)
this verse expresses the status of many preachers to Allah's command...
♦Throw down your staff: a divine command
♦But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return :
The reaction of the prophet after he did the command of God, and the fear of the consequences that resulted from his obedience, that he escaped because of fear
To the extent that he didn't even look back !!
And this is what happens to all of us in the time of trial, or when we get hurt when giving someone an advice about Deen, or when we get humiliated for defending the truth....all we do is escaping without looking back.
Then comes the divine consolation, the divine mercy.
♦[ Allah said], "O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure. : And fear not !!...how can you fear and I'm god with you and near you !! How can you fear and I'm the king of the skies and earth !! How can you fear and you fulfilled my command !!
Oh plz tell me how can we feel insecure after this verse !!
Subhanallah how merciful he is !!
