Lol, the pic made me laugh xD--->

Ashley’s POV

I turn over on my bed, tucking my arm underneath my head and staring solemnly out of the window. I hadn’t bothered closing the curtains earlier.

It’s not like I really need to anyway.

I see the moon sitting comfortably in the black sky, wispy clouds floating past and smothering its glow for a few seconds.

The few stars that I can actually see, thanks to the lights lining the streets outside, twinkle prettily in the night.

I hear a couple of crickets chirping away noisily outside, almost like they’re trying to outdo each other. Well, they could be for all I know I guess.

I feel my eyelids drooping, before I suddenly jump, not wanting to fall asleep.

Releasing a sigh, I sit up and shake my head, reaching up to rub my tired eyes.

“This is ridiculous” I mutter, sitting on the edge of my bed and dropping my head into my hands. “I’m gonna die if I don’t get some sleep…..”

‘Go to sleep then…..’ a low voice suggests, making me pause.

“Yeah right” I mumble sarcastically, rolling my eyes and pushing myself up from my bed, being careful not to trip over anything that may be lying on my floor. “You’d just love that.”

‘You’re being ridiculous’ the voice reasons innocently, the dark undertone almost unnoticeable. ‘If you’re tired, sleep.’

I shake my head again, kneeling down in front of my dresser and resting my forehead against the cool wood for a moment.

It feels nice, soothing my dull headache.

“And once I’m asleep” I say wearily, pulling a drawer open and rifling around through its contents, “You’re just going to sit back and sing nursery rhymes Hakuba?”

The Wolf demon chuckles lowly, apparently amused.

‘Of course not’ he sneers. ‘I’ll be escaping as soon as your eyes close.’

“There’s a surprise” I mutter sarcastically, locating my container of pills and unscrewing the lid. “Always the caring one aren’t you?”

Hakuba remains silent as I quickly swallow three of the green pills and throw the container back in the drawer, slamming it shut.

‘Those pills you take……’ he begins slowly, sounding suspicious. ‘They don’t make up for lack of sleep. Humans don’t survive without sleep.’

I laugh bitterly, turning around and leaning my back against the dresser, hugging my knees.

“What the hell do you care?” I ask sharply, not in the mood for Hakuba tonight. “You’re probably happy about it. The longer I don’t sleep, the sooner I am to go crazy. Then, lucky you, you can try to take over my body again.”

Hakuba growls at me nastily.

‘Don’t speak to me in that tone brat’ he warns. ‘I’ll make that headache of yours so much worse if you’re not careful…….’

“Yeah……I have noticed you like to hurt me whenever you get the chance” I retort, closing my eyes and leaning my forehead on my knees.

Hakuba walks up to the ten steel bars holding him inside his prison, looking down at me through narrowed eyes.

“Stuck inside this pathetic body of yours” he begins bitterly, “You’re the only one I can hurt. So yes, I take any opportunity I can get.”

“Whatever” I mutter uncaringly, my head pounding.

Hakuba snorts, unhappy with my flippant attitude. He begins pacing back and forth slowly, eyes trained on my hunched figure.

“Although, you’re always so happy now” he murmurs thoughtfully, tails waving around slowly. “It’s almost impossible to get at you……Moments like these are rare……”

I shrug, eyes still closed.

I feel Hakuba lie down in front of me, a whoosh of air blowing my hair back as his massive body settles on the floor of his prison.

“Perhaps I should feel honoured to be in your regal presence” he says in a snarky tone, making me bristle.

We’ve had this argument a few times in the past, and it gets on my nerves every time. He just wants an excuse to have a little diva fit.

“The great Ashley Minami” Hakuba continues, his voice beginning to get louder. “The brave little girl who selflessly sacrificed herself to save her Village.”

I raise my head, sending Hakuba a sharp look, my lip curled back in a silent snarl.

Hakuba stares back at me with a look of both amusement and irritation. He crosses his large paws over each other and lays his head down, grinning darkly at me. His glowing red eyes flash dangerously.

“Ashley Minami” Hakuba rumbles in a mocking tone. “The girl with Uchiha blood in her already legendary lineage. The girl who so easily decided to become the container of the pathetic Ten Tails. The little brat who decided that I wasn’t a threat to her, despite being the most powerful being in existence-”

“Stop mocking me Hakuba” I command lowly, rising to my feet. “I’ve never said any of those things.”

Hakuba chuckles dangerously, narrowing his red eyes at me.

“Oh, I know exactly what you think of me you little brat” he growls, pressing his face up to the bars, his large jaws poking through. “You do think I’m weak. You think I can’t hurt you. You think I’m worthless. Some dark creature that merely lives to patronise and make your life hell-”

“I’ve never said anything like that you stupid monster!” I shout, snapping and kicking Hakuba’s nose.

He lets out a roar, reeling backwards and sitting back on his haunches. He glares down at me hatefully, baring his teeth and swinging his tails around in agitation.

“I never agreed to have a beast like you put inside of me!” I continue ranting, stomping my foot on the floor angrily. “If anything, I wish you’d never been sealed inside of me! You’re nothing but a giant pain in the ass and you’ve made my life as miserable as you possibly could!”

“There, you see?!” Hakuba thunders, reaching through the bars and trying to crush me underneath his giant paw. “You speak the exact words I just said to you. Deny it all you like, but you despise me as much as I despise you. You may think you’ve become a better person brat, but you’re just as filled with spite and hatred as you’ve always been……”

I pause, looking up at my angry Demon thoughtfully. He shakes his head at me.

“Humans disgust me” he snarls, turning away from me. “They say one thing, when they really mean the opposite. A lying bunch of criminals and hypocrites is what you all are. And you all treat us like vermin. Like something that needs to be washed from the face of the earth…….I wish I could kill you all……”

I tilt my head. What’s he going on about? Who’re us?

“Hey!” I shout, as Hakuba begins disappearing into the blackness of his prison. “You can’t judge all humans like that! Not everyone is a liar or a hypocrite! Just because you’re a power hungry, blood thirsty monster with a biased opinion doesn’t give you the right to pass judgement on us!”

Hakuba pauses, turning and glaring at me over his shoulder.

“Find me one human who has never spoken a lie in its entire life” he snaps, turning back around and disappearing. “Then you have the right to lecture me on such things…..”

I glare into the darkness of his cell, a thin black mist slowly rolling out though the bars, giving the room an ominous look.

“Besides……..What do you really know about me child?” Hakuba’s low voice wafts though the room, my ears straining to hear his words. “Before you judge me, know my past……hypocritical human…….You are the same as them all……..”

I slowly lift my head, resting my chin on my knees and staring out of my window thoughtfully.

What did Hakuba mean by know his past? And what does he mean by saying I don’t really know him?

What’s to know? He’s a blood thirsty Demon that wants to take over my body and wreak havoc on the world.

That’s all I need to know.

I shake my head, rising to my feet.

“He’s just messing with my head” I decide, pulling my weapons pouch down from my dresser and strapping it onto my left thigh, before strapping my kunai holster onto my right one. “Like usual……”

I lift my window up and jump onto the window sill, having decided a walk through the cool night air will clear my head and maybe calm my pounding headache down a bit.

I leap up onto a nearby roof, making sure to travel quietly so as not to wake any of the inhabitants below me up.

How on earth would Hakuba expect me to know anything about him? It’s not like he’s ever told me anything. He’s always just been there to push me in the wrong direction or input some sarcastic or degrading remark.

I don’t think anyone besides my Clan knows of the existence of the Ten Tails, so it’s not like I can ask anyone, or go to a Library and find a book about him.

‘Maybe Master Dashi would know something’ I think, before releasing a sigh. ‘But he’s all the way over in the Land of Ambience…….’

I eventually find myself at the training grounds I usually find Kiba and his team training on.

I feel a wistful pang in my heart at the thought of the cheeky brown haired guy. I’d gotten to see him before his mission, which was nice, but it was only like….five minutes.

I miss him……..

I almost jump, hearing a noise off to my right.

“Who’d be out training at this hour?” I can’t help wondering out loud, as I stealthily move through the darkness, heading towards the noise.

I hear a low voice, and although I can’t make out the words, it sounds kind of familiar. Focusing on vibrations in the ground, I smile, realising it’s just Kyoku up ahead.

She has someone else with her, but I’m not sure who. It’s obviously a kid, but it mustn’t be one of her students, because I’d recognise their presence.

“Good job” I hear Kyoku say. “Try the other one again.”

The other person mumbles some incoherent words, before I feel a surge of chakra, and hear what sounds to be electricity sparking.

I duck behind a tree and cautiously peer around it, almost letting out a gasp.

I see Kyoku standing in front of a young looking girl, who has a large sphere of lightning sparkling around her left hand.

“Chidori” the girl says calmly as she bends her knees, before suddenly launching herself forwards at an impressive speed for someone of her age.

She swings her left hand forwards, easily stabbing Kyoku in the stomach, her hand protruding out of the blue haired woman’s back.

To my relief, Kyoku turns to water and splashes to the ground, as the girl steps back and turns around.

The real Kyoku walks out of the trees, smiling softly at the girl.

“Good work” she compliments, placing a hand on the girl’s head.

The girl looks over in my direction, her dark blue eyes looking suspicious and thoughtful.

She looks up at Kyoku, who nods subtly and removes her hand from the girl’s head.

I raise an eyebrow as the young girl swiftly whips out a kunai and sends it soaring in my direction.

Pulling out my own kunai, I throw it forwards, easily intercepting the girls’, before running to the side and sending a spray of shuriken back at her.

I’m slightly impressed, as the girl manages to dodge the shuriken, although I see one nick her shoulder as she does a back hand spring.

“Not bad” I say, appearing behind the young girl.

I grin at her as she turns around, an undisturbed look on her face. The girl drops to the ground and whirls around, attempting to trip me up.

With a laugh I place a hand on her shoulder and flip over her, before gripping her tighter and heaving her over my head.

The girl flips around in mid air, landing on the ground beside a horrified looking Kyoku.

“Bit late for training isn’t it?” I ask them both with a grin. My smile slowly drops, as they both stare at me silently.

Kyoku’s eyes are wide, while the girl seems to study me through narrowed eyes, hand holding the shoulder that my shuriken sliced.

“Ashley” Kyoku finally says, sounding a bit shaken, which is weird for her. She’s always so cool and calm. “I didn’t expect to see anyone out here at this time of night…..”

My brows furrow at her demeanour. She seems almost……suspicious.

“Neither did I…” I say slowly, eyeing her and the girl carefully. “I’m out here because I couldn’t sleep and decided I needed to take a walk to clear my head. What are you doing? And who’s that?”

Kyoku swallows, looking nervous as she glances down at the girl.

The girl continues staring at me, although, I swear her features are hardening into more of a glare now.

It’s weird, but she looks a little bit like Kyoku. Well, it’s pretty dark and hard to tell for sure, but I think she resembles her a bit.

That’s creepy. I hope there are no mini versions of me running around……

The girl has short, spiky hair at the back, with very long strands at the front that flow down just past her chest.

Her hair is a strange colour too. It’s ice blue, but looks sort of silver in the moonlight.

Her eyes are very dark blue, almost looking black.

There’s a very calculating, suspicious look in those young eyes. I’m not sure if I like it. It makes her seem older than she probably really is.

“Who is she Kyoku?” I ask again, growing suspicious of Kyoku’s behaviour. Is she trying to hide something from me? Or someone else?

“She kind of looks like you” I add, making Kyoku freeze.

“I’m sure you’re j-just imagining it” Kyoku says quietly, looking down at the girl, who is now most definitely glaring at me, like I’d killed her best friend or something.

What’s that brat’s problem?

“Keep glaring at me” I warn the girl, narrowing my eyes at her, “And I’m really going to hurt you kid.”

The girl remains silent and continues glaring at me, unperturbed by my threat.

“Alright then” I grin nastily, cracking my knuckles. “You asked for it.”

“Wait!” Kyoku calls as I perform a quick sequence of hand signs.

“Lightning Style: Black Wolf Jutsu!” I cry, as my body lights up with dark electricity.

A large Wolf quickly forms from the black lightning and separates itself from my body, growling dangerously.

It suddenly launches itself towards the girl, its feet pounding against the ground.

The girl’s brows furrow, as she moves to jump out of the way.

Her eyes widen, when she realises that she can’t get away. Looking down and noticing the shackles of rock around her ankles, she sees exactly why.

Her head snaps up as my Wolf leaps for her, her mouth opening, probably about to scream.

“Water Style: Water Beast!” Kyoku exclaims frantically, before a large Wolf-like creature made of water collides with my electrified Wolf.

They both explode, making me throw up my arms to protect my face from any bits of debris.

Eventually opening my eyes and dropping my arms, I see Kyoku standing in front of the girl, an imploring look on her face.

“She’s important to you then” I say decisively, making Kyoku sigh in defeat, before nodding.

“Very” she says softly, looking up at me. “Please let her go……”

Nodding, I drop the shackles from the girl’s ankles, releasing her and allowing her to move freely.

She sighs quietly, looking up as Kyoku tries to shield her from my view.

“Kyoku” I address sharply, making the blue haired woman flinch. “Who is she? The way you’re acting is making me really suspicious, and if you’re doing something that could end up harming the Village or any of the Villagers-”

“No!” Kyoku cries, horrified by my words. “I’d never do anything to hurt the Village. I’d give my life before letting anything happen to it!”

I smile, feeling a bit better.

“Good” I say kindly, tilting my head. “But please, at least tell me who this is. I’ve never seen her before.”

Kyoku sighs wearily, placing a hand on the girl’s head again.

“That’s good” she says softly. “That was my intention.”

“What was?” I ask, feeling slightly confused.

“That no one would know who she is” Kyoku explains, looking down at the girl sadly.

The kid looks up at Kyoku, impassive look plastered on her young face.

“Her name is Kohana” Kyoku says in a hushed voice, running her fingers down the girl’s cheek lightly. “And I’ve been hiding her from everyone since she was born……..”

“Kohana?” I repeat, watching the little girl curiously. “Is she your sister or something? Is that why she looks like you? And why have you been hiding her? If someone’s after her, you should go and talk to Lady Tsunade. She’d be willing to he-”

“She’s not my sister” Kyoku interrupts softly, as the little girl grabs her hand and pulls it away from her face, preferring to just hold her hand instead. “Sh-she’s my……my daughter……”

My eyes widen in shock, and I can’t help the shameful way my mouth drops open.

“Your what?!” I screech, making Kyoku wave her arms in a panic.

Shhhhhh!” she hisses frantically, glancing around and releasing a sigh. “Yes, she’s my daughter.”

“Daughter?” I repeat, shaking my head and grinning. “No wonder she looks like you. Geez, what did Kakashi say when you told him you had a kid already?”

Kyoku rubs the back of her neck uncomfortably, as Kohana sends me a nasty glare.

“Well, that’s why I’ve been hiding her” Kyoku mutters awkwardly. “H-He doesn’t know about Kohana yet…..”

What?!” I cry incredulously, sending Kyoku into a panic again.

“Ashley!” she hisses, looking around. “Be quiet!”

“Okay, okay” I say, brushing her worries off. “Why haven’t you told him you’ve already got a kid? I think he’d wanna know!........Who’s the father then anyway?”

Kyoku blushes, looking down at the ground.

“Kakashi……” she says, sounding reluctant to tell me.

I almost scream what?! again, but manage to restrain myself. This really isn’t making any sense…..

“How can Kakashi be the Dad?” I ask in a forced whisper. “This kid looks too old to be his k-”

“I had Kohana when I was eighteen and a half” Kyoku interrupts me, staring down at her stony faced little girl. “She’s six now…….”

I run a hand down my face, shaking my head in disbelief.

“You’ve kept Kohana a secret from Kakashi for six years?” I whisper, feeling really bad for Kakashi Sensei for some reason. “Why Kyoku? Why would you do that to him? You know, I bet he’d be really happy to know he had a kid.”

Kyoku shakes her head, looking on the verge of tears.

“You don’t understand what the situation was back then” she says softly, Kohana now glaring at the ground. “Kakashi and I had been together for quite awhile by then, obviously, since I ended up pregnant…….But after awhile, he started drifting away from me. By the time I found out I was pregnant, he was ignoring me, asked to be switched to another team, and eventually left the ANBU. I never got to tell him……”

I send Kyoku a sympathetic look and open my mouth to speak, when she cuts me off.

“Also, in the ANBU, it’s forbidden to strike up romantic relationships with your fellow Black Ops members” Kyoku explains sullenly. “For a few reasons, but now isn’t the time to explain them. There were severe punishments for anyone who didn’t obey this rule………If they had found out I was pregnant with Kakashi’s child, it would have been bad…..For all of us……”

I nod, before shrugging and grinning at Kyoku brightly.

“But that’s all in the past now” I tell her enthusiastically. “You and Kakashi Sensei aren’t ANBU Black Ops anymore, so it’s okay if you have kids together now!”

Kyoku shakes her head, playing with her daughter’s hair.

“It’s not that easy” she says wryly, eyes back to their usual hooded look. “Sure, now we can be together and have children, but Kohana is six. If it’s found out that she’s Kakashi’s child, they’ll know we were breaking the rules behind their backs.”

“So?” I challenge, earning a sharp look from Kyoku.

“Just remember this Ashley” she says seriously, turning Kohana around. “Just because a crime was committed in the past, doesn’t mean the criminal won’t be punished in the future. Now, I have to get Kohana home, before anyone else finds us……Please don’t tell anyone Ashley……For me…….”

I nod slowly, my brows furrowing in thought.

“Yeah, of course……..” I mutter, hardly noticing when Kyoku and Kohana disappear from sight.

Kyoku’s words have suddenly made me think……

Crimes that were committed in the past……….Those criminals will still get theirs…….

I wince, crossing my arms over my chest and turning around, walking aimlessly through the Village as the sun begins to rise.

Will I ever be punished for the crimes I committed in the past? I was a criminal, a terrible one.

Working for Orochimaru, I’d probably be classified as one of the worst criminals. If I had stayed with Orochimaru, I’d probably be in the Bingo Book along with Liana, Sasuke and the Akatsuki…….

Am I still considered a criminal? I’ve done nearly everything a person can do wrong.

Murder in the first degree, second degree, manslaughter, theft, arson, identity theft……..Probably more…….

Wow, if only they’d known about my past when I’d first arrived here, they’d have thrown me in prison and tortured me for information…..

I definitely wouldn’t have been welcome in a nice place like the Leaf Village……

The man’s battered body collides with the wall painfully, causing him to release an involuntary groan, before he slides to the ground.

He leans up on his arms shakily, slowly tilting his head back and opening one of his eyes to look at me.

His face is covered in blood, and his closed eye has a nasty cut running down it, rendering it unable to open anymore.

“I’ll ask again” the ten year old me says dangerously, twirling the bloody kunai in my hand. “Where are you hiding them?”

The man coughs up a small amount of blood, gripping at his charred shoulder and wincing as his fingers touch bone, no trace of flesh left.

“I-I’ll nev-ver tell y-you” he stammers, breathing heavily and feebly trying to push himself to his feet. “I’ll die b-b-before I betray m-my Lord……”

“Your Lord huh?” I ask dryly, an amused look on my usually stoic face. “Well, my Lord seeks vengeance on your so called Lord for betraying his trust.”

I lean down and grab the man’s chin in one hand, wrenching his head up to look at me and making him groan in pain.

“My track record is perfect so far” I inform him lowly, narrowing my visible eye at the man’s bruised face. “Failure really isn’t an option for me. Now, you’re going to tell me where they-”

I am cut off by a loud shout, before I hear a very short scuffle, and another body flies down the hallway.

Looking up, I see the man grow still, blood pouring from his neck and adding to the mess I have made of the long room.

What choice did I have? The hallway was full of guards, and they wanted to kill me. Seems they didn’t really appreciate the Sound Village headband around my neck much. It affiliates me with Lord Orochimaru, the man their Lord had wronged when he kept the money he owed my Master.

As smoke slowly enters the hallway, I see a seventeen year old Kabuto casually making his way towards me.

“Ashley!” he calls, pausing halfway down the hallway. “Time to go! I found them!”

“Prick” I mutter under my breath, before glancing down at the man kneeling at my feet. “Time to die.”

The man’s open eye widens in fear, as he sees electricity building around my arms and hands.

I stare into his eye, which shines with the reflection of my lightning attack.

“N-Nooo!” he screams, his body twitching and writhing as the electricity courses through his already injured body.

I release the man, watching as his body falls to the ground and continues twitching with the after shocks of my Kekkei Genkai.

“Hurry up!” Kabuto snaps, tapping his foot impatiently as I carelessly step all over the dead bodies lining the hallway, not caring whether they get trodden on or not.

They’re dead, so it’s not like they know about it anyway.

As I reach him, Kabuto whirls around, leaping into the large cloud of smoke and almost disappearing from my sight.

I keep up with the silver haired boy easily, running along beside him and glancing around at the few bodies littering this end of the hallway.

“What happened?” I ask shortly, still not thrilled about having to be accompanied by Kabuto on my mission.

Lord Orochimaru knows how much we despise each other, so he probably just sent Kabuto along to amuse himself.

Although, I’d much prefer to be on a mission with Kabuto than Liana. I’d only been sent on one mission with that girl, and she’d spent the whole time trying to get her hands on me so she could infuse her chakra into my body.

So basically, we’d ended up trying to kill each other the whole time.

“Same as you” Kabuto replies in a snarky tone, pushing his giant glasses up his nose. “I went searching for the guy’s kids, and the guards weren’t happy about it. So I had to kill them. Although, looks like you got the short end of the stick. There must have been about twenty bodies back there.”

I shrug, skidding around the corner, right behind Kabuto.

“They weren’t that strong at all” I say with a roll of my eyes. “You’d think he’d hire guards that can actually defend themselves.”

“Against untrained people, I’m sure they could” Kabuto muses, before sliding to a halt and gesturing for me to stop as well.

I come to a stop beside Kabuto, who is examining the grey wall in front of us, making me raise an eyebrow.

“What are you doing you idiot?” I growl, making the silver haired boy sigh.

“I know where they’re hiding those kids” he informs me, ignoring my remark. “And, if my calculations are correct, if we blast through this wall here, it’ll be a huge shortcut to them.”

I nod slowly, focusing my Katsuryoku and feeling for vibrations on the other side of the wall.

Sure enough, I feel the presences of five unfamiliar people, who don’t seem to weigh much. They all feel quite short and light, making me assume that they’re children.

“You’re right” I say begrudgingly, making Kabuto smirk triumphantly. “I can feel them moving around in there.”

“Excellent” Kabuto says, before nodding his head at the wall. “If you don’t mind……”

Catching his drift, I step forwards, pushing my chakra into my hand. Clenching it into a fist, I throw it forwards and hit the wall with a powerful punch.

The wall crumbles under my hand, a huge hole forming in the wall as plaster powder and more smoke billow up into the air, making me have to close my eyes.

We hear a couple of frightened screams, before the voices turn to hushed, frantic whispers.

Kabuto and I step through the large hole, walking into the room and looming in front of five young kids.

Looking to our left, we see them huddled together in the corner of the room, clutching at each other fearfully and trembling in each others arms.

“Hello…” I say darkly, sending them an evil, tooth filled grin.

The youngest looking girl immediately bursts into tears, turning her face away and burying it into the t-shirt of her older brother.

“What do you want?” he whispers so quietly, I barely hear him.

Kabuto takes a step forwards, making another little girl begin to blubber quietly, tears spilling down her cheeks.

“Payment for our Lord” he sneers, throwing his hand down, a thin, dangerous looking scalpel appearing in his palm. “Your Daddy owes our beloved Lord a great amount of money, but he won’t give it up.”

“So instead” I pick up, performing a long set of hand signs. “We’re going to use you guys as payment. I think that’s pretty fair. A lot of people lost their lives because your Daddy ordered their deaths. We only want five lives in return.”

With that, Kabuto charges forwards, causing the children to start screaming and darting in all different directions.

“Fire Style: Fire Wolf Jutsu!” I shout, blowing out a bunch of small fireballs that quickly morph into Wolves.

“Ah ah ah” Kabuto says teasingly, swiping his scalpel across the youngest girl’s hand as she reaches for the door.

She shrieks in pain, before Kabuto winces at the sound and swiftly slits her throat.

The oldest boy shouts out, eyes wide as he watches his little sister’s limp body wither to the floor.

Two little kids scream as one of my Wolves explodes right next to them, sending them flying across the room and colliding with a wall, as part of the room lights on fire.

The screams pick up as my Wolves continues exploding, the oldest looking girl getting incinerated by one of them.

Hey, at least she died fairly quickly.

Kabuto goes after the oldest boy, as the two kids who hit the wall struggle to their feet, crying for their Mother and Father.

One of them manages to get up, while the other seems to realise he can’t get up. His leg is twisted at an unnatural angle, signalling that it’s broken.

“C’mon” the little girl begs her brother. “Geddup! We gotta find Daddy!”

“That won’t be happening” I whisper, appearing behind the girl and making her gasp.

She whirls around, eyes wide as I scowl down at her.

I’m not a big fan of children. Or teenagers. Or any aged person really.

Quickly focusing chakra into my hand, it forms into a short blade around my palm and fingers.

I easily slash the little girl across the stomach, before cracking her across the back of the head with my elbow as she falls.

She hits the floor hard, already dead from my two simple attacks.

“N-No!” the little boy on the floor screams, before glancing up at me and frantically trying to scramble backwards.

“Blame your Daddy” I tell him coldly, before jabbing my Chakra Scalpel right through his neck, severing his head from his body.

I watch as it falls and rolls along the ground, making a bloody mess as it goes. The little boy’s body slumps against the wall, tilting to the right slightly.

“Ready to go?” Kabuto asks, wiping his blood covered scalpel on his pants and looking up at me.

“Yeah, lets go” I sigh irritably. “Kids are so annoying.”

Kabuto narrows his eyes at me, before shaking his head and turning away.

“Tell me about it” he mutters, making me want to stab him in the back of the head. Repeatedly.

“Wait a second” I command, kneeling down and not bothering to wait for Kabuto’s answer. This was originally my mission anyway.

Kabuto watches over my shoulder, as I write something across the floor.

He smirks as I eventually rise to my feet, wrinkling my nose as a burning splint of wood falls to the floor next to my feet.

“Nice touch” Kabuto laughs nastily. “But we better go, before the building collapses on us.

I turn and follow him, not even sparing a second thought for the five young children we’d just slaughtered.

I can’t help shuddering at the memory.

I had written ‘Courtesy of Orochimaru’ in those children’s blood…..Just to freak the man out even more, if he ever got the chance to find his children before their remains were burned to ashes.

I was sick back then. Sick and twisted, just like Orochimaru had wanted.

He’d taken my emotions and feelings from me, and he’d worked hard to do it too. I’d been such a happy child before he found me……But with the death of my Clan, and living in what felt like hell on earth, I guess it’s not really hard to see why I was the way I was.

Not that I’m making excuses for myself or anything. What I did was terrible, even if the man did owe Orochimaru money, killing his children was hardly an appropriate punishment.

Orochimaru wanted to mess with the man’s head though, and make him miserable. He wanted to teach that man, and anyone who double crossed him, that doing so really isn’t worth the trouble it will bring.

Killing those children is probably one of the more ruthless things I’ve done, but I can’t say it was the only time I’ve killed innocent people. Who knows how many innocent people have died at my hands?

I hold my hands up and look at them closely.

So much blood is on these hands……All for a man like Orochimaru……It’s disgusting.

I wrinkle my nose, dropping my hands and wiping them on my skirt, as if that will cleanse them of the theoretical blood that stains them.

I think I feel that headache coming back on……Who knew such early mornings could be so eventful?

I sit back and stare at the sky, watching as it slowly begins to lighten, the sun deciding it’s had enough of watching the moon hanging out up in the sky all night.

Releasing a low sigh, I reach behind me and pull out my Summoning Scroll.

‘Maybe some training will help clear my mind’ I think wearily, performing a hand sign.

“Summoning Jutsu!” I exclaim, watching as a huge cloud of smoke suddenly appears before me.
