The Plan, Part 1: Mrs. Yu

Mrs. Yu finds Si pacing in the hallway and summons him to her room. She closes the door behind him and looks him square in the eye. "You know what you have to do," she says sternly, and Si looks taken aback. "What do you mean?" She crosses her arms and says, "Do you really love Shancai?" He blushes and nods. "Then you have to act now! She is in her room alone and I know she will welcome it because she loves you." His eyes widen at her words, but she doesn't give him a chance to speak. "I can arrange everything for the wedding, and your friends will be the witnesses. Your mother cannot do anything after that, as marriage is forever. But before we can get there, you must DO. IT. NOW!" She glared at Si who is standing in front of her with his mouth wide open. He cannot believe she is suggesting this. Has this old lady lost her mind?? Finally he shakes his head in frustration, his brow furrowed and his hair tousled against his forehead. "You're crazy! It will never work!" And before Mrs. Yu could convince him otherwise, he turns and leaves the room, slamming the door behind him. Mrs. Yu looks at the closed door and shakes her head. "Ah, they will find their way there eventually," she thinks to herself before preparing to retire to bed.
