So where do you work? I ask Henry as we lay on the picnic blanket.
I'm a reporter, I work with vogue magazine
Really? I eyebrows shoot up in surprise and you never told me?
Its not really important, what is important is why your front lawn was filled with chocolate bars this morning when I came to pick you up for our not date? He lays on his arms turning to me sideways
I bit my lip staring up at the sky, just an ex trying to get me to talk to him I shrug
If he did that why not talk to him? He frowns that was a whole lot of chocolate
Oh trust me I want to but am really enjoying all the free food, so far I've been sent breakfast for the past 3 days, tubs of ice cream and unlimited chocolate, it doesn't get any better Henry
He'll give up soon enough if u don't talk to him soon, am saying this from a man's point of view.
I nod I was going to call him today but you showed up with the tempting offer of a picnic I laugh
No one can ever deny a picnic especially one under the stars he winks

I laugh, I will when I get home, for now you promised me bowling I stand up

I smile, well welcome to my humble abode I switch on the lights

I roll my eyes no, we both step into the living room which has fairy lights hanging from every corner and a large Teddy bear on the table and pink candles around it

I grab the note plastered on top while henry tries to get it out the door.

We seat on the couch as I open the small rectangular box slowly, the only thing I see is a large envelope.

I roll my eyes, and open it up I grab the note first while henry grabs the rest of the things inside.

Wait so all these, what is he apologizing for? Henry ask as I go through all the pictures of all the places we've went on dates, and lots of photos from Paris.

I stare into the dark night expecting him to shout or something but he simply drives away.
Okay Alex let's give you that chance I grab my phone settling on the couch I bit my lip trying to talk myself into calling when I hear my door bell again
I open the door, henry did you forget-" my words hang in my throat when I see Alex standing there in a dashing dark suit looking handsome with visibly bags hanging around his eyes he stares across at me his lip pulled into his mouth holding a cardboard sheet near his chest.

I smile against his lips, as we pour all our emotion into this single kiss, our I miss you, our laughter's, our tears mistakes, my eyes closed I feel my heart picking back up his pieces, as his hands move to my waist, His tongue peeking into my mouth.
My hands reach for his jacket as it drops to the floor, my hands reach for his soft hair,pulling on them a bit, his hands grip my thighs wrapping them around his waist he walks us over to my couch
I pull back breathing in a lungful of air, pointing in the direction of the stairs instead.
He sends me a small smile, pecking my cheeks and forehead as he leads me up the stairs, I love you so much Sophia.
And I love you I peck his cheek as we reach my room and he slams the door shut after us
