On Friday, Megan knew she totally flunked that test. In greater news, she was having a sleepover at Michelle's house. The two best friends alternate houses when they plan to hangout, and this time just so happened to be Michelle's turn.

Megan was glad to not have work today, since she hated working on Friday's. After school, her mom drove her home really quick to back a overnight bag, then went straight to Michelle's.

"Bye! I'll text you tomorrow as promised!" This was something Megan usually did when she spent the night at Michelle's house. She knew if she didn't message her mom, she would never hear the end of it.

She didn't even have to knock, as Michelle was right at the front door, still in her school clothes. "You ready to eat pizza and watch Netflix?"

"Who do you think I am? Of course I am!" They hurried up the stairs, Megan not forgetting to say hello to Michelle's parents. "Hi Mr. and Mrs. Jones!"

They went into her room, and Megan set down her bag. "You know you can call them by their first names."

"I like to be polite." Megan shrugged.

"Whatever, let's chat." Michelle said, gesturing her to sit.

She sat down next to her, confused. "This is scaring me. What's up?"

"Are you crushing on Parker?" She almost choked on air, yes, air, after hearing Michelle's question.

Megan immediately denied. "How many times do I have to say no?"

"Until you admit it because you're horrible at hiding feelings." Michelle replied, hinting a little smirk.

She didn't really understand the questions about Peter recently. If she was going to be asked questions, it should be able her encounter with Spider-Man and her old crush on Scott potentially coming back. "I might be crushing on someone-"

"I knew it!"

"-but," She began. "it's complicated."

Michelle frowned. "How so?"

"You remember Scott Wilson?" Megan asked, and she nodded. "Isn't in he college now?"

"Yeah, but ever since I worked with him last Saturday, it's like things were back to the way they were." Megan gushed. She could never get over when he walked her home, and some of his flirty lines. Also, when he showed up in the middle of the week just to see her.

She went on to tell her about what happened while Michelle was at the decathlon, and she ate up every word. Almost every girl at Midtown were head over heels for him until he graduated. Megan was basically living the dream of female Midtown students, just not exactly. "I know I usually have the "I don't need a man" mentality, but you lucky bitch!"

They both burst into laughter. "MJ, nothing is going to happen between Scott and I."

"But it could." She smirked. In Megan's mind, there was no way.

"He's too old for me." Megan protested.

"Not in a few years!" That was true, but at the moment it wasn't meant to be.

"Can we just order pizza and stop talking about Scott?" She whined. Michelle immediately pulled out her phone. "Don't gotta tell me twice."

The two pigged out on pizza, watched corny movies, and talked about almost everything that was currently going on. Megan even had some things to say about her encounters with Spider-Man, admitting she also felt something when she was around him. According to Megan, their first meeting was kind of "like magic."

"Wait, what if Scott is Spider-Man?" Michelle said as if she made up the greatest theory of all time.

"That's nonsense! Spider-Man could be anyone." Megan knew there was absolutely no way Scott could be under the mask, he was actually too tall to be him.

"You got all close and personal with him, who do you think it is?" This was something Megan thought about constantly ever since that night. She had a few people in mind, but one person really stood out.

"I know this sounds crazy, but I think it's Parker." Michelle spit out her drink, which got all over Megan's face. "Seriously?"

Megan ignored the bits of soda on her face, and went on a little rant. "He's always late to work, sometimes he doesn't even show up! He also has a habit of disappearing out of nowhere. Plus, the Stark internship isn't even real, I looked up myself! It all adds up!" Who's the observant one now? Not Michelle anymore.

"Someone's done their research." She snickered.

"Think about it, I'm right." Megan exclaimed.

Michelle saw how it could make sense, but she didn't want to jump to conclusions. "I'll just keep it in mind. Although, I give you props for being a semi-stalker. But if it really is Peter, I can really rub it in your face that you've been crushing on him!"

"Whatever!" Maybe she was kind of being a stalker, but it literally drove her crazy wondering who the hell it could be. If she found out it was Peter, god knows what her reaction would be.

Megan was on Peter's mind. He'll always remember saving her from danger. The look on her face when it was all over was glued in his mind. Her embrace as she thanked him, how awkward she was around him.

When he got to see her again, as Spider-Man of course, it was nice seeing a different side of her. Her hints of sass were nothing new, but still likable in his eyes.

At work, he'll catch a glimpse of her in her true beauty. She wasn't one to wear makeup or dress glamorously, and to him she didn't need to. Even though she was constantly at him, complaining about him being late and not doing his job, he kind of liked it.

It was like a little game, he always wanted to push her buttons to get a reaction out of her.

Peter was conflicted. He's liked Liz for so long, and he had a feeling she liked him too. But at the same time, he was starting to feel something with Megan. Except he thought for sure she didn't like him. He felt a connection with her when he was under the mask, but that didn't mean she liked the real Peter.

If Megan was going to like someone, it was going to be Spider-Man, not Peter. He had never had a girlfriend, he's only kissed a girl once (which was during a game of spin the bottle), and he barely possessed any skill when it came to talking to girls.

When he's Spider-Man, there's a confident side of him he never knew until he put on that suit. He just couldn't hide behind a facade, and that was the worst part.

Double update cause why not ;)

Also I kinda put a little bit of Peter's point of view (even tho it's all in third person) because I've mainly focused on Megan this whole time
