My life
Like a glass broken
Like the dreams of an ambitious man shattered
Like the darkness that envelopes light
Like sorrow that comes with happiness
Like drought after rain
Like love turned into hatred
Like smile that ends up in tears
Like failure after hard work
Like poverty after richness
Being caught in a web
And not knowing when to leave
No one to talk to
No friend to trust
No family to rely upon
No one to love you
You are just like a flower
That refuses to bloom
Like the rain that refuses to fall
Like hunger killing the poor souls
Like crises everyday claiming lives of innocent people
Is this how I want my life to be?
