After the loud applause, the dim room was slowly lighted by the distant theatre lights illuminating a lone silhouette. The humanoid woman was wearing a light white dress, barefooted against the polished stage, wavy red hair was placed neatly in a bun. As the lights slowly illuminates her above, it gave a divine and royal impression among the fascinated alien audience.
Standing away to get a better view of their target, Kaizo's cold gaze couldn't help but to stare at the familiar woman in the distant stage. The silent crowd heard the orchestra below playing a sad intro of piano and then violin.
I have been a wanderer
After I lost you

Her voice was low but clear, emitting a sad and tragic feeling across the room. Kaizo saw her sidestepping elegantly like a princess she should always be. He heard a wave of instrumental chorus which gave him goosebumps as the woman continued singing.

Compassing her hands to the air, even in his distance, he could see her about to tear up. Something inside him feels tight as he knows what she is feeling. And he hates how he had developed a friendship to that lonely girl. The girl who was being forgotten as the princess of the extinct Hemo clan.
Realizing that her act was finished, Kaizo straightened up as they locked eyes together in an agreement they could only understand.
"It's time." Before he could hear the crowd applauding, something terrifying roared inside the dim theatre.
BANG! BANG!
The silent stifle of the crowd was replaced by a sudden scream of panic and fear. Everyone ran to and fro as Kaizo began to stalk closely the target. His target was assisted by some of his bodyguards as they led his target down to a secluded stairway.
Walking quietly, he heard one of its bodyguards saying calming words to the alien, "Sir, there is nothing to worry about. We are in the right path."
"I object! I should be with my fiancé by now! Let us go back and find her!" The target, which was dressed in an elegant black suit, objected as his brown mustache twitched in annoyance.
"Sir, we think of your own safety. We must continue." One of his bodyguards grabbed his arms to calm him down and follow them instead.
Trying his best to let go, he shouted, "Unhand me! Listen to me!" But he was dragged by force of his three bodyguards. "You traitors! I know you are working under my mother! Unhand me and let me find Claire!" Uttering that precious name, his tears started to fall and tried again to break free.
"You heard your master. Let go of him." Kaizo surprised them, appearing behind them with his cold stare.
"I thought we lost them! Were you not watching our backs?" One asked at the guilty man.
"I swear I didn't saw him!"
"Get this man away. I'll handle this." Getting his gun out, Kaizo immediately acted beforehand and used his Energy sword to cut through the gun and the man's left hand.
Shocked at the speed, the other two bodyguards shoot him continuous bullets hoping to kill him. Sidestepping all the attacks gracefully, Kaizo cut through their bodies as purple liquid almost splashed his suit.
Appearing in front of his surprised target, he gave him a cold stare as he said, "I'm sure you still didn't forgot about me."
"I d-don't." His lipped shivered as he tried to back away.
"She is waiting for you. If you want to come, then, be my guest." Kaizo returned his sword and grabbed him, surprising the man.
Throwing his shaking hands on the air, he shouted, "Please don't kill me!"
But Kaizo never replied and clicked a button on the earpiece he had on his left ear as they dissolved out from the room.
"MY LOVE!"
"CLAIRE!"
Both running figures came hugging tightly at each other.
"I'm glad you are okay, Your Highness." The woman called Claire smiled happily at the man.
Returning her a loving smile, he nuzzles at her cold nose, "I am too."
Kaizo was looking out for any dangers and someone from behind landed a playful punch on his back.
"Abang Ijooooooo! Glad you are fiiiine!" The annoying voice rang on his ears but he refused to acknowledge her. However, he could hear her walking away from him as he heard her conversing enthusiastically at the couple. "I am so happy that we have managed to successfully do our job, Your Highness!" She curtsied at the man.
"I am more grateful that nothing bad had happened to my fiancé. I owe you for protecting her." He and his fiancé curtsied back.
She gave them a happy smile, "Oh, Your Highness! It's never a problem!"
Kaizo decided to cut in, "Do you have another thing for us to do to you, Your Highness?"
The man scratched his mustache, "For now, I must not return to the castle until father would tell me so. I am sure that this is caused by my mother for claiming the throne from me, but I won't let her do that."
The purple haired man looked down at his smiling comrade. He heard her asked, "What is His Highness's plan, if he doesn't mind me asking?"
The man gave them a serious look, "I must do something for good. This is getting out of hand." He grabbed his fiancé's hands, "We must announce our wedding. Don't worry, Claire. I will protect you."
"I will tell my parents for the arrangement. For now, you are not safe to go back in any of your villas. I know where we should be hiding." His fiancé said.
"Hiding is not an option." Kaizo heard the man said and he noticed his comrade's now failing smile. "I must see my mother and confront her."
"I'll go with you."
"No. Stay with your parents, I don't want you to get into trouble."
"But I'm going to be your wife. Your problem is also mine--"
Kaizo wanted to cover his ears. Too much of these. He returned his senses on guard.
Looking at the silent night sky, she was deep in thought and Kaizo could sense that she was succumbing again to her own nightmare. Closing the gap between them, he extended his long arms to ruffle on her wavy long red hair. "It's not your fault."
Under the moonlight, he noticed her tears falling. He looked away, "We did our best, YN."
"I couldn't save him." Her voice was low and hoarse. She was sniffling, "Abang Ijoo... I failed on helping him claim his throne. I let my history repeat on his story."
Hugging her small body tightly, he whispered, "Princess YN, please stop blaming yourself." It was weird because for long years, he had never comforted anyone except his brother Fang. He continued, "You did your best."
He can hear her suppressing a low and muffled scream as she held on his arms for support. He didn't know what to say next but instead, he gently combed the unruly hair he had always admired of hers.
His gaze went to the night sky and couldn't help but held on to her shaking figure even more tightly.
This is the princess of the Hemo clan. A clan universally known to manipulate and conjure their acidic blood which was massively exterminated because of fear.

The lyrics on this chapter were accidentally made by me. This is my original character and it kinda felt cringy because I am not used to making OCs but man, my mind wont calm down if I won't write this down.
Anyway, I have promised someone and I am sorry it took me a long while to published this because I personally don't want rush story plot. If you are reading this, I pursued on writing this because of the fanarts you made just for your bae, Kaizo. She is making fanarts of her and Kaizo and for me it was cool. I hope you enjoyed this first chapter.
