"Nandu" Manik poked her as she turned the other side

He and kids where back from the ice cream treat to see the house silent, he made the kids sleep in their rooms and then went to Nandini's room to see her sleeping burried in the blanket with full AC
Manik first thought that she was teasing her so he tried to wake her up but then he remembered how she cooked all his favorite and was always behind him working for him
"She must be tired" he thought creasing her hairs
His thoughts then went to their argument, he was so mad, he never thought so but he knew it was difficult for Nandini to trust him, of course it will be because of him only
He kissed her forehead and slept when he felt her cold feets on his warms
Manking him smile, her feets got cold were often and to reduce it she would always entangled them with his warm ones, earlier he use to be shock that how could her feets be cold in the warm blankets and then he used to be taken off guard but now he was use to it now
He let her snuggle in him as much she want making him smile, his old Nandu was there somewhere in this new one
Starring at her he didn't remember when slumber took over him

Nandini entered kitchen to see Cabir cooking
"Tum kab aaye?" she asked strenly making him jump
"Oye Nandu heart attack dena hai kya?" he asked dramatically but didn't get any response from her, she just walked to the fridge and took out some things
Cabir saw this, he knew she was angry on him but he was also Bhir, he will make her talk to him
"Yeh kaisa hai?" he asked showing Nandini the chocolate mousse he gaid made
Though it was tempting she didn't show him that making him disappoint
"What do I have to do?" she asked as she saw he was already preparing something
"Chop the capsicums in square, see like this" he showed her and she was on her work
Surprisingly they were still cordinated in the kitchen like years ago
Navya didn't fancy cooking much so it was them who were kitchen buddies as both their partners were fancy to eat
"Aaooo" Cabir winched taking Nandini's attention
He was remembering their kitchen adventures when he mistakenly cut his own fingure
He felt a hand grabbing his and next second it was under flowing cold water
"Dhyan kaha tha Bhir dekho kitna khoon beh raha hai" Nandini said washing his wound

"Shut up" she ordered
"Yaha betho" she ordered pointing the slab as Cabir jumped and sat
"Abhi tak nahi badle! Dhyan kaha tha tumhara" she scoleded like a mother bring the first aid and doing it on the fingure as he sat there listening to all her scoldings
"Bhir" she yelled not getting his response
"I am sorry" came his small reply
"I know it's not even the word I should say to give you my apologies but I am really sorry" he said making Nandini's eyes got teary
"I abandon you when you needed me as your brother the most, how could I you literally grew infront of me and I doubted you" he said getting down from the slab
"I know I am not worth it but I am sorry" he said and got back to his work
"Navya is trusting you so even I will" he heard her and turned to see her there was no smile on her face it was serious
"Yes but that doesn't mean we are being back to what we were" she said and turned yes she needed time for all this
She was awake yesterday but she wasn't ready for Manik yet also she didn't wanted to hurt him but she wants to be the Nandu she was back then but she was afraid
In short her heard was at mess now so she was just trying to clear it, this was the bad thing about memories she thought she would never forget them but she did want to give everyone chance
She took a deep breath and saw at Cabir who looked sad and her heart melt
"But we can try" she said making him turn to her again
"We can try to be what we were" she smiled this time, yes she has to let go and set herself free to take a leap of faith
"Aww I love you" he said hugging her in happiness
"I know I love me too" she said in same happiness making him laugh
"That was his Nandu" standing in his arms
"But we have a problem" she said getting out of his hug
"I call Abhir Bhir tho he won't be mad if I call you that now na" she asked genuinely and Cabir pinched her cheeks
"Aww Nandu we will ask him ok" he said
"Mom" there come a voice as Arav entered
"What's cooking?" he said in his semi sleep
"Special breakfast" Nandini said with a happiness in her voice
"I will brush and come" he rushed back to his room
"Baap pe gaya hai" Cabir muttered
"Haan na" Nandini winned as Cabir laughed
"Tera bhi tujh par hi gaya hai" she said elbowing him
"Yes" he said raising his collar
"Kuch jal raha hai" Nandini said sniffing
"Toast" Cabir and her yelled to save the toast
Cabir got the toast out, and dished them
"Jaa tere kumbhkarn ko utha" he said to Nandini who rushed to her room
She entered to see Manik sleeping hugging a pillow his mother ajar
She went near him thinking how to wake him up
She then slipped besides him
"Manik" she called him
"Get up Cabir is making special breakfast" she said as Manik's eyes flutter open making her giggle
"What's cooking?" he asked looking at her
"Well Cabir is Cooking something special which includes chocolate mousse" she said and he smiled getting up with a grin
"Kid" Nandini remark seeing him excited for a food but to her bad luck he heard it and next second she was pinned to the bed
"Kya bola" he asked in his sleeply voice
"That you are a kid Malhotra" she said giggling
"Bolo phir se bolo" he asked again to repeat
"Kid you are a kid" she sang but stop as he rubbed his stubble between her neck and shoulder
"Kid?" He asked going down
"Kid?" he asked the same way as he tugged his hair
She was going to pull him but he got up
"I am a kid fine" he said and getting down her bed
"Mani" she called him making a pout making him turn and laugh
He peaked her lips and her forehead and left to the bathroom as she started to make the room tidy
"Mom Meri tie band do" Arya came in and stand on the bed as Manik came back after brushing
He said Nandini folding the comforter so he went near Arya and started making knot of her tie
"Thank you" Arya smile and kissed Manik's cheek "Good morning"
"Good morning Pumpkin" Manik said and kissed her cheek back
"Good morning Mom" Arya wished Nandini
"Good morning bete" she greeted smiling at Arya
"Now run to the kitchen and ask Cabir Chachu to give you your lunch box" she asked Arya to go as Arya ran
Manik was going to follow her then he looked at Nandini and went and stand behind her
"Jaan" he said making her turn and unannounced kissed her
"Good morning" he said and left laughing seeing her shocked expression

"Utho look we have to plan Kavu's birthday party" he said
"Wo khud itni planning kar rahi hai aur aap kyu kar rahe ho" Abhir said turning to sleep in comfort
"Aye get up I have cooked breakfast" Cabir informed making him get up and run to his bathroom manking Cabir laugh
"Uth gaya?" Navya asked standing at the door
"Haan" he said as he got up and Navya backed hug him
"Kya hogaya?" Cabir asked
"Mujhe aise hi rehna hai" she said as Cabir kissed her forehead
"Thik hai let the kids go we will go on date" he said and Navya smile
"Maine kuch nahi dekha" Abhir said covering his eyes
Navya giggled as Cabir looked at his son suprised
"Oye go to the breakfast table" Cabir said as Abhi ran not before kissing Navya's cheek wishing her good morning and Cabir was just greeted by him
They got in to see Kavya was getting her tie done from Manik and Nandini was bringing the breakfast from the kitchen and the twins sat on the table waiting for the food
"Good morning Mumma" Arya and Arav greeted her kissing her cheek
"Is it a ritual" Cabir said gesturing the kiss session
"Yes" Arya said and went to him and kissed his cheek greeting him to making him smile
Even Kavya went and did the same
"Nice one" Cabir said as they sat on the table
"Wo I invited others to" Cabir said and as a cue the bell rang and Arav ran to open the door and came back running with Samra and Rudra followed by the others who joined for the breakfast
"Old man" Arav called Shrikant who looked at her
"Me and Abhir is free tho Aap free ho kya we can go out with Miss Beautiful for outing" Arav asked playing with his fork and everyone looked at him supressing their smile
Shirkant looked at him surprised as Neyonika smiled knowing what Arav was doing and Abhir had his fingers crossed praying that he says yes
"Ok" Shrikant smiled looking at Nandini who was already looking at him
"We also want to go" Samara said looking at Arav with puppy face
"Samara no missing school, Hum weekend pe jayenge" Mukti said making a stern face as Samara made a bad face
"Ok" she said looking at Arav and Abhir who were going to say something
"Oh chote ManBhir don't spoil her" Mukti said to them
"Haan jaise humne tujhe bigada hai na" Cabir said as Mukti threw a spoon on him
At end it was decided that the Abhir and Arav will go with Shrikant and Neyonika rest the kids will be picked up by them and then they will continue the outing
CaVya were going on the date and same was with MukBbi and Druliya so MaNan left were home alone
