FRANKIE'S P.O.V.
Okay, so here we were. Battery City. This place was once a city like any other.
I felt suddenly uncomfortable with the idea of being here. Juliet was probably feeling the same because she squeezed my hand.
I looked at her.
– All the way here, and I get nervous now – I laughed nervously. She smiled. I felt her hand slightly shaking.

We prepared our ray guns and everything we needed. This was going to be crazy. I knew it, and I was afraid of losing...okay, I didn't even want to say it.
I left what I was doing and went to where Juliet was, grabbing her waist and making her look at me directly.
– Frank, what are you d- – I didn't leave her end the phrase, kissing her passionately. For a moment she kept the same position, but she seemed to understand my fears because she continued the kiss.
We kept kissing the other, prolonging that moment forever.
If in that fight any of us had to die, I was mentally praying to a God I didn't believe in that it was me, I wouldn't be able to live without Juliet, without my sweet and beautiful Juliet.

We contacted with Mikey. He was there too, somewhere near the laboratories. He had talked to Ray and they had prepared a strategy. We decided that it would be a good idea, and we decided to attack that night.
Finally we had to meet the others. Ray looked at us but didn't say a word, even while we ate that night he kept a little apart from us. I was glad with that. His face was still a little red near his right eye.
Mikey seemed more talkative than never. I liked that, but I knew that was because he was nervous too.
– The moment is coming – I said after a moment of collective silence. They all nodded. I squeezed Juliet's hand. She lifted her eyes to me. Those eyes I hoped I would see again.

We decided that we would go in different cars. Ray and Mikey and Juliet and I. We needed one driving and one shooting just in case.
We came to our cars. I breathed deeply. I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready for this. I ran a hand through my hair and breathed again. Calm down, man.
– Good luck – Ray said. I opened my eyes to find him with a hand in my direction.
I looked at him with a “Are-you-fucking-kidding-me?” expression.
– Frankie, we may not make it – I thought about it and accepted his hand. The hands shaking turned into a hug.
– I'm sorry, man, the stress was killing me – he said looking at me and also at Juliet who was talking to Mikey. I nodded.
– Just don't do it again – I said seriously. He nodded.
– I'm sorry for hitting you so hard, you know, I was pissed – He nodded.
– Good luck – we both said to each other and went to our cars.
I joined Mikey and Juliet's conversation.
– Good luck Mikey – she said hugging him by the time I came to where they were.
– Good luck – for once Mikey hugged her back and then separated.
– This is going to be hard – I said. They both looked at me and nodded.
– Good luck – we had a group hug and then Mikey left us alone.
Juliet lifted her eyes to me and smiled. A smirk that was holding back the tears of her eyes. I kissed her forehead and hugged her as tight as I could.
– I love you – she said against my chest.
– I don't only love you, I'm pretty sure that I'll die without you – I said, my eyes closed as I rested my head against hers.
She stroked my cheek; I opened my eyes.
– I'll always be with you, I'll keep you here, and you'll keep me here – she said pointing to her heart and then to mine. I couldn't help but smile.
A horn sound made us move. We went in the car. Juliet was driving since she had insisted that I was better shooting.

We arrived to the door, passing some enemies that had died because of our ray guns.
We parked and I couldn't help but to share the last kiss with Juliet. It was deep and intense.
We came out, guns ready and run to the metallic door. This was it.

GERARD'S P.O.V.
Another night there. I was resting my head against the shitty thing I had as a pillow, filling my mind with thoughts of freedom. I just felt it so near and as the same time so far.
Suddenly the lights turned red, informing the guards that there were intruders. I stood up hopeful. Could they be my friends? Where they here to save me?
There was a lot of noise that seemed to come from the entry. I couldn't stop myself, going from one side to another of the room.
I looked twice outside the room. I could see the guards behind the transparent doors, but they were soon dead and a feminine figure was running to the door.
That was...that was her! They were here to save me!
