Heartfelt Words

City Night Life

Dark night,
no moon and not a star in sight .
   Only the lights,
       the faint blurs.
       The cars,
  What journey they take,
          To work,
      to home,
        or some other well-known 
               place.
These blues and whites
     and some frequent
                      yellows,
Make up the life of the streets,
   Like stars within crowded galaxies,
  Only more and more within the proximity,
  Much like the cities and the people who  
         live within them.
