The first year of the Doctor's and Jessie's new lives have already been marked by tragedy. The Avengers Civil War have torn the superhero team apart, and the death of Danny Pink forced them to come face to face with an old enemy, one indirectly responsible for their deaths two regenerations ago.
But their first year has also been marked with joy with Jessie discovering her pregnancy, a light in a dark time. The Time Lords will continue to live on, and the blood bondeds couldn't be happier, and neither could their companions: Inhuman Clara Oswald and enhanced twins Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.
Yet as Jessie's pregnancy advances, new threats start to appear. There's no rest for the wicked, and like the Promised Land before, whispers of the Hybrid follow the Time Lords through their adventures, even with a familiar and welcome ally joining the TARDIS ranks.
But no one is more accustomed to danger than the Time Lords. They know better than anyone that all must face the raven in the end.

Well, that's quite the addition to the cast list, don't you think?
I don't even know when I wanted Tony Stark to join up with the Time Lords, but I think it was when I decided on a plot point for Series 10, but that blew up and here we are, after the mess that was "Endgame," and Tony will be with the Time Lords for this book.
And when I say the book, I mean its entirety. Not just one adventure, not a few here and there. I mean the entire book. So for those of you who want your Tony fix, I've got you covered. ;)
Just in case anyone has forgotten . . . the Fourth Bad Wolf has dark hair with glints of gold and silver, emerald green eyes, and speaks with an American accent. She wears a black pant suit lined gold and silver with a white silk shirt, black heeled sandals, and her hair slightly wavy. She is portrayed by Meghan Ory, and her theme is "Magika" by Two Steps From Hell.
Even though Series 9 was primarily two-parters, I will still follow my usual update procedure: when I get to updating this book, I will update both parts of the story before going on to the next book. So after I've done the next updating cycle, I will post both "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar" before going on again. All in all, assuming I keep my Doctor Who muse alive, this should be a very fast book to get through.
Which is pretty good for everyone, because boy, is there a story to tell here.
