Change

I find that change is difficult,
It is heavy,
weighing you down.
You get so used to something and poof-
it all changes right before your eyes.
The usual things are now the new things and they are now the opposite of what you used to do.
Change is a chain of new,
usually things that we do not want,
The human condition is to reject it,
as I do.
I never did understand,
how life and treating it as though it were ephemeral when we typically live for many many years,
how that could be the answer to everything in our lives.
