No words were spoken as both fraternal twins Sam and Danielle barge into their designated rooms, both having different objectives in mind. While Sam aimlessly tears apart his bedroom looking for his great-great-grandfather's glasses, Danielle rushing over to her dresser, throwing her t-shirt over her head. She hastily pulls out her drawer, grabbing the nearest shirt she could see, a pure black tank top. She puts it on her, all the while wiping her face with her forearm, wiping off the dirt and sweat off. Danielle gives a heavy sigh, recollecting her thoughts.
"Okay," Danielle says to herself, "Take deep breaths.....You're okay...You're just a normal teenage girl....whose car is a giant alien robot and a gang of robots need your help to save the world against enemy alien robots that want to destroy the human population..."
Danielle groans loudly, hearing herself talk. She paces in her room, keeping her breathing even. Her chest hurts, as every breath she takes gives her a slight wheeze in the back of her throat. She ignores it, hearing her brother panicking in the other room. She sighs, about to walk out of her room.
As she reaches for the doorknob, the area shakes, as if an earthquake happens. Danielle gasps at the sudden motion, hobbling to her bed, trying to stabilize herself. The shaking ends fairly quick, causing Danielle's heart to race. She hears her dad, Ron, freak out downstairs, along with Judy's distant yelling at him.
Danielle pants, turning her body to look out the window, her eyes nearly popping out of her head at the sight in front of her. The cause of the racket was the Autobot Ratchet, who walked into electrical wires, causing him to short circuit. The electricity in the house powers down, along with the rest of the neighborhood.
"Sammy? Danielle?" Danielle hears Ron call out in the hallway.
If Danielle had the ability to shirk her eyes, she would. She walks over to her door, turning the knob, stepping out. Judy catches Danielle walking out the door, rushing over to her, grabbing her should.
"Danny! Are you alright?" Judy asks her, pressing her hand to her forehead, "You look flushed."
"Mom, I'm fine," Danielle promises, swatting Judy's hand away, "Just a little shaken up from the earthquake."
Judy frowns, but stays silent, both female Witwicky's look over at Ron, who starts to grow anxious and angry.
"What the hell is that?" Ron asks beside Danielle, gesturing to the bright light coming from Sam's room.
"I don't know" Judy nonchalantly replies.
The 3 start to advance to the door, Ron holding his flashlight tightly.
"Sam?" Ron asks.
He knocks on the door, finding it locked. Danielle's cheeks start to flush to bright pink, growing worried by the second.
"Sam, are you in there? How come the door's locked?" Ron starts to question him through the door, "You know the rules. No locked doors in my house!"
"Sam," Danielle butts in Ron's statements, "He's gonna start counting, y'know."
Right as she says that, Ron starts to count, starting from 5, making his way already to 2. Danielle holds her breath, waiting for the inevitable.
