Today we're going to have dinner in this fancy restaurant.
And of course mom would make me put heels and be all elegant.
Y/N:
I walked inside the car, where Dad and Mom are.
"Oh look at our baby! She looks very pretty" Mom said and turned around with a perfume bottle in her hand, Mom suddenly bombarded me with that perfume.
"If you look elegant smell elegant as well" Mom said, I chuckled,
"After bombarding me with perfume, do you think I'll still smell bad?" I asked and the 3 of us laughed,
"Where's Sehun?" Dad asked looking at his watch strapped on his left wrist.
"Let's leave him." I said, "Y/N!" They both laughed,
Just then Sehun came out running,
"Get your ass here slow poke!" I shouted peeking in the window,
"Coming fat a$$!" Sehun shouted back and I sat down properly crossing my arms.
"*sehun sat beside me* Ready to go dad" Sehun said, "Who are you calling a fat a$$??" I asked glaring at him, "I was joking." Sehun said and chuckled, "Why does he have to wear something so formal?" I asked, "Elegant is elegant dear" Mom simply explained, "Plus we're going to this restaurant and re-meet the Parks" Dad said,
"At Jimin's house?" I asked,
"No, in this hotel ballroom. The 3 of you could hang out, you guys don't need to hear what we need to discuss" Dad said,
"Oh, good thing then" Sehun said, smiling brightly,
"We won't be bored" I said.
The drive then became silent.
I just played something on my phone.
Until we arrived at this fancy restaurant.
We all walked inside with 6 bodyguards behind us,
"Why do we need bodyguards again?" Sehun asked, "It's making everyone's attention on us" I whispered, "Protection of course" Dad said and we quietly went to this VIP room.
At our surprise.
Irene & V's family are there with them too.
Sehun's hand turned into a fist.
"Calm down Sese" I whispered, stroking his back.
"I can't" Sehun whispered back,
"Then act like you don't know them" I whispered, "You're actually a pro at that..."
We sat on our assigned table.
"Yah... just forget I ever did that to you" He said, with full guilt written all over his face.
The bodyguard was about to pull my chair but I stopped him.
"I'll do it. You don't have too" I said and smiled at him.
"Miss, that's why we like guarding you, you're so kind" Sungjae said, smiling at him, "You too" I said and we both gave each other a high five.
"You both get along very well" Dad said, taking the menu in his grasp. "And so?" Sehun asked, scanning through the menu. "She'll have him as her personal bodyguard" Mom said, "Right" Dad replied to mom, giving me internally a very annoyed feeling. "Appa, I don't need one. I'm fine alone" I said and started looking at the menu,
"When you're just out." Dad simply said,
"That could do. Thanks appa" I replied, "But clearly not all the times." I added, just to make sure I won't a have a bodyguard tailing me behind my back.
We all chuckled.
We started talking about different things.
Catching the 2 noble families eating beside us.
Mrs Kim's Pov
(SO DON'T GET CONFUSED. IT'S THE OTHER AUNTIE AND UNCLE OF TAEHYUNG.)
"Mr Bae, we would like to discuss this business at this 5 star hotel" I said,
"We would love too, right Honey?" Mr Bae asked her wife, "Yes dear. Irene you're coming" Mrs Bae said, "It's settled then" Mr Kim said,
"Taehyung, you're coming too" I said,
"Yes, got it auntie" Tae said,
My attention went to the young lady talking with her bodyguard I eavesdropped.
I like her.
She's a potential young girl.
I looked at her parents, oh isn't it the family Oh's
What a small world.
(They met the Oh's in a business trip and had a few conversation)
Me and my husband have always liked the way they run their business.
And it's been a while since I wanted to work with them.
(AND ALSO, THE MR AND MRS KIM THAT TAKES CARE OF TAE AND TAEJI ARE ALREADY PARTNERED UP WITH OH'S BUSINESS SO YEAH. HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND?)
Y/N's Pov
I felt someone looking at me.
I looked to my left to see a middle aged woman looking at me with a sweet smile,
I smiled back and bowed my head and continued eating.
"Mom, have you heard about the upcoming family meeting at school?" I asked,
"Of course darling. Me and your dad are going" Mom informed.
Uh oh...
what if Mrs Kang will tell them about the chaos me and Tae are into?
Nahh.
"Better have good grades" Dad said,
"Isn't that Taehyung's unle and auntie?" Mom asked,
Uncle and Aunt?
Oh... maybe mom and dad met them in a business trip.
What a small world.
"Yes it is honey. Look at them having a meeting with the Bae's" Dad replied,
"They're your classmates right Y/N?" Mom asked,
"Ne eomma (Yes mom)" I said, completely avoiding to look at the 2 families.
I continued eating my carbonara with a fork,
"Can't we use chopsticks?" Sehun asked.
"Sehun, this is a very fancy restaurant. Get used to it" Dad said,
"It's not like, it's your first time eating to one" I chuckled,
He laughed sarcastically with my words and continued eating.
"Hey, twist it like this" I said and demonstrated it to him.
"Oh..." Sehun said copying what I did,
"It worked! Thanks sis" Sehun said and we gave each other a fist bump.
-Ring-
My phone rang.
"Excuse me" I said and excused myself.
I picked up the phone without going far or near them.
I just stayed in my place
"Jimin?" I said, doubtful on why he's suddenly calling.
"Yes. So uhm I contacted you because your parents aren't answering their phones. Where are you guys?" Jimin asked,
"Why? It's like only... " I looked at the time on my watch, "Only 21:30. 21:30?!?" I freaked out at the time, "Slow down. I'll say that you guys are still at the restaurant" Jimin said, "Thanks babe!" I said probably everyone heard that, I usually call Jimin like that because we act silly towards each other.
"Eomma, Appa... we should get going. The Park's are waiting... it's 21:30" I said.
"We're coming ma Mochi" I said, getting all ready to run.
I raised my hand calling the waiter.
Dad gave him cash for what we ate.
"Let's go!" Sehun said and he grabbed my wrist and the 4 of us went straight to our car.
Dad drove off while the van where the bodyguards were followed behind.
We arrived at the hotel.
"Here you are guys! Welcome to our hotel" Jimin greeted once we got out of the car.
Me and Sehun shook hands with Jimin's parents.
I smiled at the both of them.
I looked at Jimin with a smile.
"Why did you called me babe earlier?" Jimin whispered, he teased, is he playing dumb?
"Nah... it just came out... you know?" I said, more like a doubtful answer. Doubting my own words. Jimin laughed,
"Okay" Jimin said and wrapped his arm around my shoulder like what he does in Italy.
We proceeded inside and our parents went inside the ballroom of the hotel.
We stayed at the lobby.
Soon I saw The Kim's and The Bae's entering the hotel.
I distracted the 2 boys preventing them to see Tae and Irene
"What's going on Y/N?" They both asked,
"Nothing" I said and sat on the couch there.
They looked back and saw Tae and Irene.
Fuck this...
"Be friends with Tae again. Come on buddy" Jimin suggested.
"He doesn't want to. It's not me. It's him" Sehun stated the truth.
"Well, shrug it off boys." I said,
"What?!? Marriage?!?" Tae said at the distance. His voice echoed in the whole lobby, catching few people's attention. Including us.
"Taehyung!" Irene said running after Taehyung who went out the hotel.
"Uh oh... my bro is gettin' married with a slut"Jimin said, shaking his head, disappointed on his uncle and aunt.
I sprinted up and ran after the both of them.
Jimin and Sehun were exclaiming my name
As a stubborn kid as I am... I didn't listen. Following Tae and Irene.
I hid behind a wall.
I peeked and saw them there, talking I could hear them.
"Look. I didn't know about this" Irene said, I can obviously tell that was a lie.
"You know about it. I bet you requested it" Tae said, angry.
"Yes I did! You got me. But because I love you!" Irene said and tried kissing him.
"Stop this..." Tae said,
"What do you mean--" Tae cut her off
"What I meant is I love someone else. I'm not going to marry you" Tae said, straightforward. How he said those words so proudly...
It hurt...
He loves someone else...
I walked away, but felt like going back and look at the both of them. So I did went back and peeked.
They were kissing.
Tae didn't stop her.
That hurts me more...
I walked inside the hotel.
I grabbed my bag and was about to leave but Sehun stopped me.
"Let me go Sese" I said, not in the mood to argue.
"You can't leave..." Sehun said.
"Why can't I? Tell your friend I wouldn't like to see him again" I said and freed myself from his grip, but at that time The Parks and our parents came out of the ballroom.
"We have some announcement for you guys" Mr Park said, looking at the 3 of us. "You should listen carefully" Mom suggested, and we stood there, patiently waiting. "We decided to have this marriage" Mrs Park squealed excitedly.
"Between Y/N and Jimin" Dad added,
"Marriage?!?" Me and Jimin exclaimed shocked.
What's with marriage today!?
First Taehyung and Irene.
Now me and Jimin!?
Fml!
"What about Lisa?!?" I asked, slightly nudging mochi's arm.
"I haven't told them yet" Jimin whispered back, I stood there shook. My eyes widened. My mouth agape...
"I just spoiled them about Lisa didn't I?" I whispered at him, he slightly nodded.
"Who's Lisa darling?" Dad asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"S-she's my friend dad." I stuttered.
"Me and Lisa are dating. Mom... dad, I'm sorry I can't marry Y/N. I love Lisa" Jimin said, he wasn't hesitating and he wasn't nervous, instead he was proud to tell that to his parents.
Our parents laughed.
"We got you there son!" Mrs Park giggled.
"We purposely said this" Mom giggled with her,
"So you would tell us the truth" Mr Park chuckled at his son,
"And you'll confess about Lisa" Dad said, knowing Lisa very well. I forgot, I told them about BP the other day...
"Dad! You got me into this as well! I can't marry him" I said, my eyes drooping down, hesitating whether to say what I'm going to say right now.
"Why not?" Mr Park asked, they stopped giggling and chuckling, looking at me. I felt small by how they looked at me.
"I like him and all... but as a friend of his. Beside Mr and Mrs Park me and Jimin are super close back in Italy, and still... right Mr Mochi?" I asked and wrapped my arm around his shoulder and ruffled his hair, I could do so, since I was only a centimetre shorter than him.
"Yep we are close." Jimin said, smiling at me. Giving a soft smile back.
All of us laughed.
"So good evening and have a nice night Mr and Mrs Park" Me and Sehun said.
"See you tomorrow Jimin" We both added.
We waved our goodbyes and went inside our car.
I saw Tae and Irene holding hands and walked inside the hotel.
Dad then drove off.
First of all why would Taehyung ask me to be his girlfriend the day I was sick?
Then he started hanging out with Irene?
What the hell is going on!?
