Heartfelt Words

The Collector of Souls

And lo,
     behold,
    The collector of souls.
He reveres a throne
of ghostly woes of none be known.
A teardrop may fall from your grieving cheek,
   but do not be afeared,
   He will not leave one single scratch upon   
      the surface of your loved one's soul.
  When the time has come he shall cradle           
    them in his arms and given the right      
         reward for the life they lived.
  A journey not taken lightly, deep troubles
     and decisions to make,
  But he will not let them be carried away
    by anything which may taint the 
     pureness of the soul and harm the spirit    
      of those people you loved when they  
           were living.
