If I believe you,
Would you believe in me too?
The stars shine bright, but you are too blind to see them yourself.
It's a possibility, but only a small one, for it seems like the person you once were is no longer the same person.
The roses outside are a shriveled mess, destruction at it's saddest.
Please listen to my voice, soft as the wind on a mid-Spring day in May.
Let me be someone you reach towards,
Instead of turning your back upon me.
