Scott McCall was running threw the woods, completely and utterly alone. At least that's how he felt. Completely and utterly alone. he tripped in a root that seemed to pop out of now where.
Scott groaned not really planning to get up. he heard foot steps come his way and smelled the familiar scent of Derek Hale. Scott felt someone nudge him in the shoulder.
"Yes?"
"Why are you on the floor? Did you fall?"
"No," Scott snorted. "The floor needed a hug."
"Backwards?"
"I'm skilled."
Scott heard Derek chuckle a little and felt he nudge again. Scott looked up at Derek and saw his hand waiting to pull him up. Scott smile and put his in Derek's. A shock spread through both of them.
Derek pulled Scott up and they looked each other in the eye. Scott never really noticed how beautiful Derek's green-blue eyes could be. And a small sheiks surrounded them, not letting anyone in and not letting anything out.
Derek pulled his hand back as he realized he held Scotts hand longer then necessary. With one last glance to Scott, Derek stomped away back to his house.
Scott looked at his hand and at Derek's retreating figure. Why had he felt that way?
And why did he like it?
