You woke up by the annoying alarm on your phone. You groaned as you had to sit up to grab it. Instead seeing an alarm you saw an unknown number calling you. "another mission perhaps? " you thought
You answered the phone to hear a very deep voice "Y/N Stone? " you replied a simple yes to his question
"I need you to find someone that I lost a long time ago, meet me at the cafe so we can discuss more of this mission of yours "
And at this you smirk, knowing you'll be doing your favorite thing today: finding people
The Past
You were walking around the library reading a book till someone tugged your shirt. You looked down to see your little brother with a cocky smile
"Y/N, you didn't tell me that Thor and Loki once dressed up as women. This is hilarious! " he laughed and you giggled at the little bookworm
"there's a lot of things that I'm not allowed to talk about in your age " you muttered then led him to another room in the big library. It was more like a private study that has been abandoned for who knows long
But everytime your inside here you feel a presence of magic
"stay here, I need to do something first before I could tell you another fairytale " you pulled out a chair for him to sit then walked away
Back to the present
You walked down the street of New York then you arrived at the cafe the man told you to meet, you entered and looked around to see the man but his face was covered by a book.
As you walked closer, you saw what the man was reading: Guardians of Childhood, one of your favorite books
"James Barnes? " you asked to be sure
"yep, " he answered with a young voice not the voice who answered the phone. At this the man put the book down

"but you remembered me as Jamie, your brother " you sat there mouth agape. You never thought you could see this man who is all grown up.
Past
Jamie was just looking around the room since this was his first time in there. He slid his hand through the row of books in the shelves, one book caught his attention,
" Legends and Myths of the World Beyond " he read aloud
He pulled the top corner of the book like lever then the two shelves separated showing a door
Because of curiosity, he went inside.
You were in the 2nd floor of the room where prized artifacts and books were kept. The librarian said you can read them since she trusted you.
"Y/N........... " a voice whispered. You looked around to see no one but the whispering continues. You decided to follow it out of curiosity.
You were so focused to the voice that you didn't notice you were heading to another corridor.
When the voice disappeared , you looked around and don't remember the place at all.
Then you notice the stand that was in front of you, where it held a beautiful glass pen
"the pen is mightier than.............. Anything " a old yet manly voice said. You had the urge to pick it up. Everytime you came closer to the stand the pen glows
With your shaking hands you took it. Then everything was so bright. Your eyes glowed and your hair was floating around. You felt the tingling sensation in your bones from the pen
"Y/N Stone, I choose you.... "
Then everything stop and you were back to your senses again leaving you gasping for air "what just happened?
You murmured to yourself but your thoughts were put to a halt when you heard Jamie's scream
You ran fast to the scream and you found an unfamiliar door with flashing light in the inside
You barged into the room to see Jamie being engulfed by some kind of shadow vortex
"Y/N!!! Help! " you grab a hold of his hand trying to pull him out with all your might "hold on Jamie! Don't let go! "
Then Jamie's eyes turned black for a minute and his hands slowly slip away from yours.
"no! " you screamed as you saw your little brother get sucked in by the vortex as it also disappears
You were on your knees crying for your brother
Present
"excuse me kid, but I don't know anyone by the name Jamie" you slid into your seat and stared at his eyes to see if he was lying
"you did once " he murmured sadly. "but you do remember the 4 year old child you left in a town called Storybrooke " you looked shock at his statement cause you thought he wouldn't remember
"yeah that was me "
Past
As you cried you felt a presence in front of you. "Y/N I'm sorry " the voice said comforting voice said
"who's there? " you stood up then you feel cold air around you.
"that does not matter.... What matters is your brother, do you want to save him? " you looked down at your hands which slip him away
"he's all that I have, If there is a way to get him back to me. I am willing to do it " you said determined
"very well then, remember that glass pen you have in your pocket " you pulled out the pen as it glowed brightly
"it is a magical weapon and I choose you to hold on to it, you will need it on the journey ahead of you " he continued as you stared at the object
"but...... This place you are going is frightening and beautiful at the same time. You will face terrifying creatures, murdering monsters and etc. Are you ready for this? "
"I am " at that reply of yours, you traced a door with the pen as your eyes glowed white like you already know what your doing
You entered the door and you saw the most beautiful sight as you gasped in awe
"this is how YOUR story will begin " the voice said as you just stood there frozen and just enjoying the view
