Marshall's POV:
"Underneath the bridge, the tarp has sprung a leak. And the animals I've trapped, have all become my pets.."
I wake up to nirvana's'a something in the way playing from my phone.
" oh yeah. Gumball." The thought of seeing gumball brings a real smile to my face. But I don't love him. Not like that. As a friend. But..
I shake my head, get out of my bed and put on some clothes and my gray beanie. I adjust my hair under my hat to hid the dark circles under my eyes, a result of me staying up all night trying to figure out what's wrong with me.
The thought if seeing gumballs beautiful face makes me feel happy. Not beautiful, not like that. We are just having a friendly visit. I feel truly happy to think about spending time with him.
When I fly out of my room, I glance at my blade resting on my cedar drawer. I feel obligated to be thinking about cutting before meeting with a friend. A friend? Maybe a friend. But I get distracted thinking about Gumball.
