"I think I'm starting to like Annabelle" Blake says
I stay silent for a second and I let everything process in my head.
How is that even possible? I though he liked Ava—the way he acted with her, everything—this has to be a joke.
"Are you serious man? You can't possibly like Annabelle, have you seen the way she talks about Ava?, Ava hasn't even done anything to Annabelle" I reason
"Maybe Ava did do something to Annabelle, which is why Annabelle is acting that way with her" he defends
Bro...
This isn't the Blake I know
"Oh my god, look at what she's doing to you, she changing you Blake, and not in a good way" I groan while running my hand through my hair
"She hasn't done anything to me, for all I know she's changing me for the better" he says
"Are you kidding me?, dude, listen to yourself, this isn't the Blake I know..." I shake my head
"Look...I'm not going to stop you from doing anything, but I'm just letting you know now, Annabelle will bring you into deep shit" I say while slowly turning away and walking back to Rose and Annabelle.
Before I left I heard Blake mumble something about him leaving because he was getting tired
I sit down next to Rose and told her that we need to go home because it was getting late, we've been here for maybe 2 hours or so.
"Oh, um ok" she says while she starts packing her things and putting it back in her bag.
Annabelle also starts packing her things
"Um, Annabelle?,what are you doing?" I ask her
"Um, what do you think I'm doing, silly, I'm packing my things, you just said we were leaving—" she says in a 'duh' tone
"I said 'we'—as in Rose and I only" I say
"You can come with Blake, he's still in the washroom" I lie
"Okay sure" Annabelle smiles
Before Rose and I left, Rose decided to tie her hair up in a messy bun because it was very hot
"Uh, Rose, that bun doesn't look good on you, no offence" Annabelle gives Rose a tight smile before going back to scrolling on her phone
"Oh, um ok?, I didn't ask for your opinion" Rose whispers while rolling her eyes
"Anyways bye" Rose adds and pulls me to the parking lot
"Ugh that bitch" Rose mumbles
"Rose, I need to tell you something" I say
"What is it?" She asks as she gets into the passengers side of the car, I walk to the drivers side and get in, I start to pull out of the parking lot.
"Blake has a crush on Annabelle" I say calmly
"What?!" She shrieks
" No no no no no, he supposed to like Ava not that grandma" she says
"I don't like Annabelle, that bitch can go die in hell, she had no right to talk to Ava and call her a piece of trash when she did nothing to her, and then she has the guts to just insult the way I look, I didn't even ask for her opinion" she rants
"Calm down, we'll try and think of a plan to get Annabelle out of the picture, okay?" I say
"Okay" she sighs
After a few minutes of silence, there was one question bugging me
"If you didn't like Annabelle why did you hang out with her instead of Ava?" I ask
"I hung out with her because I though she was nice and on the first day she was so friendly" she explains
"What about you? Why did you hang out with her?" She asks
"The only reason I hung out with her was because you hung out with her" I chuckle
"Oh well, I'm not hanging out with her anymore, it's come to my realisation right now that I haven't spent my time with Ava that much because Annabelle has always been making plans, and me being the blind person that I am, I always pushed away Ava, I'm a horrible friend. I feel so bad" she groans
"Hey, hey it's fine, we'll stop hanging out with Annabelle, and we'll try to drag Blake away from her too" I explain
"Ok" she sighs
After we reach Rose's house, we get in and I get a call from Annabelle
"What" I say
"Um where's Blake, I've been waiting for him for so long and I can't find him, where Is he?" She says in a worried voice
"Oh uh, I just realised that Blake's already home..." I say trying not to laugh
"Wait what?! How am I supposed to go home? I came here with Blake!" She yells
"Uh, I don't know, get a cab or something" was the last thing I said before I ended the call
"Was it Annabelle?" Rose asks
"Yeah" I say while jumping on the sofa to lay on it
Just as I lay down, Blake comes down the stairs in sweats and shirt, his hair was wet which meant he came out of the shower probably.
"Where's Annabelle?" He asks
"Hello to you too" I say while rolling my eyes
"She's at the beach" Rose simply says
"What? How is she supposed to come home?" He asks
"I don't know, probably a cab or something" I shrug
"Ugh, why did you leave her?!" He says while picking up my car keys and speed walking to my car
"Hey my car! Take your own" I yell running after him
But he just flipped me off then drove away
"What's happening?" Blake's mom asks coming down the stairs
"Uh, nothing mom, it's fine" Rose says
"Alright kids, want anything to eat" Mrs Reynolds ask while clapping her hands together
"Could I please have those cookies you make?" I ask while smiling
"Sure honey!" She says while walking into the kitchen
"Wanna play super Mario?" I ask Rose
"Sure" she chuckles

"How are you so good at this game?! What the hell? You've won me in all the rounds!" I throw the controller on the sofa
"Aww, I'm sorry, i'll go easy on you" she says while hugging me from the side
We've been playing Super Mario for half an hour and Rose has won me in all the rounds
Just then the door opens and we see Blake come in with Annabelle.
Great...
"Hey guys" Annabelle says, while smiling
But Rose and I both ignore her and continue playing the game
"Conner? Wanna go to Ava's house, you know to apologise to her for not spending a lot of time together and also to get away from this bitch" Rose whispers
"Yeah, that's a good idea" I reply
"Bye mom, Conner and I are going to Ava's house" Rose tells her mom, who is in the kitchen.
We then walk out of the door not looking back at Blake and Annabelle

I'm so sorry I didn't update in a log time, I just had lots of school work, but here's chapter 24, ik it's not that interesting because it's a filler, i'll try updating every Thursday and Sunday.
