chapter 2

Kayla's POV
Parking my car in a space I found in the parking lot I took a deep breath and walked into my new school.I found some students in groups talking and laughing probably talking about their holiday. I wish I could do that if not because of our moving . Some other students were getting some things in and out of their lockers while some just moved around.
"Hey" someone said bringing me out of my thought
"Hi" I finally replied after few seconds of awkward silence because I was shocked someone would even greet me
"I'm Emily, nice to meet you" she introduces herself and held out her hand for me to shake.
I looked at it before putting my attention back to that beautiful face of hers but she might be a bitch for all I know
"Hmmm kayla" I said smiling before taking her stretched hand and shaking it
"Do you want me to take you around the school?"she asked
"Yes, sure" I said almost to myself too engrossed in the beauty of the school and students but she heard anyways
She surprises me by take a hold of my hand and entwines it with hers .
"Where are we going" I asked my new friend (I think)
"To grab your schedule and key to your locker" not at once stopping to look at me
"Oh" was all I could say
It seems weird to me she does not even know me and she wanna be friends and before I could think the words came out
"Why are you being nice to me?" I asked
She stopped which made me almost bump into her and turned to face me
"Because I like you and I wanna be friends with you" she said
"Now will you let us go so we won't run late for class"
We made our way towards a woman whom I assume is the Secretary and she asked "name" her voice is as beautiful as her
"Kayla Gold" I replied
She looked into a register and grabbed a schedule then took a key from a table beside her
"It all yours" she said
"Thank you" I said smiling and she returned it .
We walked back and Emily showed me my locker and we found out we have most of our classes together
Guess I made a friend
