"So Lani have you found a wedding dress yet?" my best friend Jackie questions. I shake my head no as we look through the racks of pure white dresses.
"No that's why your here," I tell her with a small laugh.
"Well I am the maid of honor!" Jackie says with a huge smile on her petite face. Jackie and I have been best friends since we were in 1st grade. Jackie's father is african american while her mother is mexican giving her skin a bronze color with long black hair set in big curls.With big doe eyes that can capture any one's heart that's how her and her husband Ben got together now they have a little boy who is two Matt.
"Yes you are cause your my best friend what else do you expect," I say in a 'duh' voice.
"I know you love me!" Jackie says looking through some more racks.
"Yes this is true," I tell her looking at a long white dress off the shoulder floor length it was quit beautiful that' for sure.
"You go sit down I'm picking out your dress," Jackie says pushing me towards a large plush purple chair with a white pillow I sit obediently and watch her run off. I sigh this was my best friend she was crazy go lucky kinda gal who I love with all of my heart. We both are the exact opposite of one another but we balance each other out just fine. After a few more minutes she comes running back with a white dress over her shoulder. She grabs my arm and drags me to the dressing room throwing me into the dressing room and hangs the long white dress on the hook.
"I'll be waiting!" she sings leaving me. I just roll my eyes and slip on the dress. I look in the mirror the dress was mermaid stlye dress that is plain until it reachs my mid thighs then turns into thick ruffles. It brought out all of my features beautifuly. I open up the long red curtain to the dressing room and step out. I look over at Jackie my nerves starting up again my hands feeling slightly sweaty at the moment as she sits there silently looking at me.
"Y-you don't like it?" I question my voice stuttering from the nervesnous.
"Like it? I frickin love it! You look sooooo pretttyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" she squeals jumping up and down.
"Really?" I question in shock.
"Of course! I mean you look all grown up! OMG! I remember when we were little and we used to talk about this one day!" she says with a bright smile as she jumps up and down like a small child.
"I know," I say with a nod of the head.
"Oh Lani!" she says with a grin.
"What?" I question confused.
"Is this your dress?" she questions me.
"Yes!" I squeal as she runs up to me and gives me a hug.
"Eekkkk! Your getting married! But remember if he hurts you I kick his ass got it!" she tells me with a serious face.
"Yes of course you will Jackie," I say with a small laugh because she is so tiny compared to Liam.
"Hey don't dout my skills!" she says slapping my arm playfully.
"I wasn't," I say with a laugh as I go and change back into my clothes and put the dress back into it's bag.
"Alright let's go pay!" Jackie yells making everyone in the store turn and stare at us.
"Yes!" I exclaim as we go and pay. Right when we leave Jackie yells on the top of her lungs "It's not nice to stare!"
"What was that for?" I question.
"Well it's true you should never ever stare at someone! Even if they're weird like me!" she says putting her hands on her hips as we get into the car.
"Surrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeee," I say with a smile.
"Well then!" she huffs out getting into the passenger seat.
"It's true," I tell her getting into the driver's seat.
"So what know?" she wonders.
"Well we can go out to lunch," I say with a shrug.
"Yay! Fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouts out the window making a nearby restaurant turn from their peaceful lunch to see what the noise was coming from.
"Well where do you want to go?" I question her.
"Hmmmm I want to go to Wendy's I've been craving those frosty things for like weeks now!" she tells me.
"Alright then we shall go!" I say with a smile.
"Yayyyyy!" she exclaims doing a happy dance in her seat.
"Come on Jackie!" I say getting out of the car. I get in line while my weird best friend gets a table while I order the food. I grab are trays and walk to the table setting them down.
"Foood!" Jackie says with a huge smile on her face making her doe like eyes sparkle.
"I love food," I tell her as I take a bite from my sandwhich.
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm," she moans closing her eyes in pleasure.
"Ewwww save that for Ben," I say with a laugh her eyes shoot open and turn into a playful glare.
"You are evil," she hisses.
"Thank you," I say with a chuckle.
Yeah, yeah, yeah," she says waving me off.
"You know you love it!" I say with a smile.
"Sureeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she says drawin out the 'e'. After we finish I drop her back at her house and go home to my family. I hang the dress in the back of my closet and head out to the family room where Liam and Abella are both a sleep on the couch cuddling both of their faces look so innocent! I look over at the twins who are sleeping peacefully in their crib. I smile at them and turn off the T.V and head to my room and change into a pair of sweats and a t- shirt pulling my long brown hair into a messy bun. I then go back to the family room and pick up Abella who just sleeps in my arms limp like when she was little and put her in her room under the covers. I kiss her on the forehead and go back to my room and lay on the bed and turn on the T.V to watch Real Housewives.
The next morning I wake up and get up and get ready for my day. I finish curling my hair and putting hair spray in it I finally leave my room to see Liam taking care of the twins and Abella I can't help but smile. I take Peter from him and give him his bottle as he drinks away. I can't help but smile at the beautiful child in my arms. I finish feeding him his bottle and burp him real quick then let him fall asleep in my arms I then put him in his crib and smile at my little boy. After Liam finishes up with Dylan he lays him down in his bed and then meets up with Abella and I.
"So what are we going to do today?" I question him.
"How about we watch movies since it's super hot out," he suggests.
"Alright Abella you go and pick the movie," I tell her.
"Okay!" she says with a smile and runs to the little book shelf that holds all of the movies. Taking out a couple of the movies and hands them to me. We sit for about six hours watching the movies quietly every once in a while I would have to go and feed the twins or do something with them.
"I'm going to make dinner," I annouce when Abella grabs Beauty and the Beast. I head into the kitchen and start to make hamburgers. After I finish up with dinner I go and grab Liam and Abella.
"Come on guys dinner," I whisper.
"Yay!" Abella says with a huge smile on her face. I sit down and give her her burger and Liam his and we quietly start eating while Abella tells us about how great princesses are. Once we finish up I put Abella to bed then it's just Liam and I doing the dishes.
"So did you get a dress?" he questions.
"Yup, but you can't see it," I sing a smile on my face.
"AAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, why not?" he whines a pout on his face.
"Because," I say with a shrug.
"Fine I see how it is," he mumbles with a scowl on his face.
"Aww come on let's go to bed," I say kissing his lips. Walking out of the kitchen and going to are room changing into one of his t-shirts I love his smell so much.
AN: Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Anyway next chapter will be the wedding then after that the honey moon, and maybe one after about depends, and then finally the epilogue!
