here i stand, in the rain.
wishing it would wash away the pain
of a girl with a broken heart
whose love was torn apart.
i looked into the mirror.
and ohh..what did i see?
in the place of the girl who was cheerful and pink
stood an angel who's heart was as black as ink.
she slowly then opened her beautiful eyes.
which was as clear as the blue skies.
she looked at me with an angelic smile
like i was her guardian sent by the lord from miles.
and then did i notice that pierced arrow.
that turned her black heart into an empty hollow
she stretched her cold hands towards me
like she wanted to get the inside of me.
she then slowly came closer
as i stood there like ice in fear.
but still i reached for her
to those hand as cold as winter weather
and when she finally came nearer and touched.
i could feel the mirror scatter to millions as such.
and that's when i looked into her
a black heart so impure.
i looked into those beautiful eyes.
those dead by all those cries
tired of the worlds lies
a fallen angel waiting to arise.
