Snow is falling onto the grass, turning it into a big white cushion. The temperature was below the freezing point, making it very cold. Somewhere close to Toronto, a family celebrated the most famous holiday of the year. Christmas. They all sat around the massive pile of presents.
Each for each, they picked a present and gave it to the person it belongs too.
Shawn, a tall guy with brown curly hair, took a present and gave it to the person next to him. A gorgeous, young lady who kept smiling at him. When he gave it to her, an adorable chuckle left her mouth. Making him enormously happy.
She opened it and looked at him. Everyone in the room was curiously waiting to see what Shawn gave his girlfriend. 'Shawn,' she whispered very softly with tears in her eyes.
'My amazing, smart and wonderful girlfriend. It's been more than 2 years since I asked you to be my girlfriend. In those years, you learned me the meaning of love and more importantly you showed me how to love someone. It is Christmas and that's why I wanted to do this right now and here. I love you more than I love myself, you are my summer in a winter day and baby please let us spend the rest of our lives together. So,'
he got on one knee and held the little box in his hand. 'Will you please marry me?,' his little sister jumped up and snuggled into her mother's arms. 'Yes, yes.' His girlfriend croaked out with million tears streaming down her cheeks.
Now the whole room was cheering and crying too. They jumped into each others arms and let all of the emotions out. 'I have a present for you too,' she whispered in his ear. They let go and she quickly picked his present. It was a little box but a little bigger than Shawn's present. She gave it to him and patiently waited for him to open it. Her eyes were locked on his, making him very nervous. He opened the box and inspected it. 'No way,' he cried out, immediately looking at his now fiancée.
A little picture made him very emotional. 'What is it, Shawn? What is it?,' his sister asked. He showed her the picture and waited for her reaction. 'OH MY GOD,' she yelled out. 'You are pregnant,' he questioned at her. Making his way over to her, his eyes were locked on her, especially her bump that isn't that visible.
His arms were very soon wrapped around her and his lips kissed her warm, pump lips. 'How long?,' his lips were placed against her ear sending shivers down her spine. 'Two weeks,' everyone in the family was cheered up and congratulated the young couple.
Especially his mom was happy, 'oh my I am going to have my first grandchild.' She kept crying out while hugging them. 'Mom, and also not your last,' he joked and immediately receiving a little slap from his soon to be wife. 'What? I am only saying the truth.' And that night was the best Christmas of all time.
